Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it, in the end I was left with a door that had most of the paint scratched off. Knowing that it might be better off just paying for the repair I did some hunting around and got a few quotes and in comes Medowridge Collision, while not close to where I live they did come recommend by family. They took my poor injured (both body and ego) car and gave me a quote that was 30% lower than craftsman collision, I'm already a happy camper. I leave my car there for about 4 days and I come pick it up - voila, good as new! Well almost, pride is still dented but they specialize in cars so I can't fault them on that. Emily was the one that did the painting on my car and she did a fantastic job, I can't tell where the painting started or ended. The icing on the cake? They buffed out some other scratches they noticed on the car and returned it clean inside and out, that's where they exceeded my expectations for customer service. This is a business I hope I never have to visit again but if the tank is attacked by rogue inanimate concrete I know where to go.

The issue I had (a bolt had punctured my tire and I could not drive any further) was not a collision type problem, but since changing tires is not in my list of skills I went to ask for help. Right away I was greeted by a very friendly front office person, and within minutes another staff person was out on the street assessing my tire, in the rain no less. This kind staff person got my car to the shop, took the time to change out my wrecked tire for my spare, and when I went to pay for the service I was sent on my way. What amazing customer service. I am grateful for the kindness.

I was greeted and taken outside to have photos of my truck taken and a file created. I then left and had fully expected a call back in about 5 days. When 7 days went by and i had not received a call ,i called them, only to be told it was in ICBC hands and it could take up to 4 weeks to get a response from ICBC. During this conversation the women on the phone kept calling me HUN, and told me if i did not like the way things were moving i could call ICBC and have my vehicle towed to the shop if i felt it was unsafe to drive and then wait for the process to unfold ,this women spoke to me like i was a child and the entire time talked to me in the most un business like and unprofessional matter, and to make matters worse continued to blame ICBC for how slow they are and it could take up to 4 weeks to hear back from them. Another week goes by and i decide to follow up with the ICBC claim center, i call them only to be told that the body shop (KIrmac on 228th street in Maple ridge) has not even sent in my photos or estimate yet and without these, there is nothing they can do ,Now i fully understand ICBC point of view I call back to Kirmac again and ask how things are going and the person who answers the phone says to me ,let me look at your file and then says we are working on it and we will send it in today. At this point i had had enough and basically asked why it had taken so long and was given the run around the week before .I was basically lied to the week before and i believe the women on that day did not even check to see if it had been sent or not I then went into the shop after work. i admit somewhat agitated as my truck has now been driven for two weeks with one headlight and signals that are not working. The manager comes out and starts telling me we are working on it and we are extremely busy and will get to it in the order of our appointments, I then pretty much lost my temper and said if you had told me this two weeks ago i would have gone elsewhere to have my truck looked after, Its not my problem your understaffed or have to big a workload ,your problem here is honesty, and your unprofessional way you treat customers. i have since taken my business elsewhere ad i am writing this review to warn other people about just how bad this shop is and the management that works here

When I got there, Ellie looked at the car and gave me an estimate right away. Pricing I though their pricing is more than reasonable and transparent. As it turned out, nothing was broken (as Ellie had suspected). They had to remove the bumper and re-attach it to make it straight. They did it for a flat fee of $125 plus tax. That was the estimate, and that's exactly what I paid. Scheduling They had an opening the following week. So, I dropped off my car in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon.
