So glad they let Salons and Barbers open up again! I was considering a "self cut"....which we all know wouldn't have gone well. Ok, differences with Covid-19. You need to make an appointment, so call and see when you can schedule. Wear a mask at all times. If you get a wash/cut, expect your mask to get a little wet, so best to use a reusable cloth one. My experience? Awesome as usual. Hilarious to see the amount of hair on the floor as I got my "summer cut". I hope it doesn't have to happen again like that! I used to have beautiful hair. Then I trusted Asja and Karen at Classic Cuts, and $150 later my hair is fried and it will be a long time before it looks nice again. It looks like this place is highly rated by patrons but the owner Karen pays for good reviews. My best advice is that you go else where for your hair needs. I wish I had known, these ladies are not to be trusted. Update: my new hair dresser cut off most of my hair and won't do anything else to it but give me conditioning treatments. I realize now, Asja took my money and performed a treatment without caring about the actual health of my hair. I'm glad I have found a hair dresser who cares more about me than money. read more

I have been following and having Kim cut my hair for 14 years, she does a great cut on any style that i have asked her to do. Take a picture of the hairstyle cut you want and that is a big help. Make an appointment though you don't need to, just keeps you from waiting. It's an easy location to get in and park. She was at JCPenneys and another place at the Mall and this place is a breeze getting in and out. She's top notch, the other ladies there seem to be excellent as well and have been there a long time which speaks well of their service. read more

Not extravagant but perfect in means of necessities: customer service, available tools, and good product. Karen is very nice and down to earth I'm sure anybody would love her. Generally I saw regular customers and I would recommend to a friend, family, or stranger! I've also learned if you follow them on instagram @classiccutsplano you'll receive 20% off on all services excluding nails and waxing. You guys should most definitely check this place out. I came today with my hair all bed headed and tangle expecting a good haircut recommended by a family member since I was coming in from out of town. The barber that cut my hair didn't even take the time to comb my hair out, so as she was razoring my hair away, it was tugging hard on the strands of my hair yanking some out at a time every time she went by with the razors. I also asked her to keep my hair long on top, and hate it when barbers shove their opinions in cut it they way they think they like. It kept getting shorter and shorter from the top, to the point I stopped caring. She also missed lots of spots to cut and in the end I'm surprised I tipped for such a horrible job. I had an appointment with Karen. She said she had cut a lot of short haircuts, however, she don't have a clue. I ask her to cut my hair in a certain manner and she did the opposite. I called her on it and she refused to finish the cut. I have reported her to the cosmetology board. She is unprofessional, unethical, and should not be licensed. read more

I went in with hair half way down my back and asked for a couple of inches off. Somehow the lady managed to cut about 10 inches off instead. Instead of below my shoulders as we discussed, I ended up with a bowl cut at chin level. Another person tried to clean it up, but still, I ended up going home and finding that not only was it about 8 inches shorter than we discussed, but it was an inch longer on one side than the other. I usually get my hair cut a Sports Clips, but they were pretty busy on a Saturday midday. I had to go into work and decided to try this place out and will never try it again. I am only writing this review to bring awareness to the fact that one of the stylists that works there told me that I have good eye sight since I noticed that my fade was lop sided. I will say that the wait was non existence and it was pretty cheap. But none of that will make it better nor make me come back. I asked for 1 1/2 on the sides and finger length on top. I have points on my hair line on the sides that I asked for the fade to start. She started one side correctly and the other side an inch higher. I was not asked if I wanted the back rounded or squared she just cut into the already determined hair line shortening it. When she was done she asked what I thought and I politely explained to her that one side was higher and she looked at me like I was stupid and like she didn't understand. Than tried fixing it only to make it worse by raising each side instead of one. The whole time an older lady who worked there was shaking her head at me trying to explain what my stylist had done as if I was in the wrong. read more
