And BMW had a lot of "FUN" getting inside the car to do the work. They didn't have a problem at all actually. NW automotive wouldn't quote me for brakes , parts and Labor over the phone because they wanted to inspect it first, which THEY CHARGE for. Yes Doug, you do get compensation for your work. It's called a wage. That's what you're there for. If you are the owner, then you should know better than to say that. Again, got a quote from the dealer over the phone with no problem. Got in the next day and got the car with no issues. This experience was an example of why these auto places get a bad reputation.

Jeff told me that drilling it out could be a nightmare and may take several hours. At the BMW dealership, to replace the valve cover gasket they charge $2,200. Best Service & Repair charged me $624.00. The wonderful Service Adviser Ilona who I spoke with was so patient and extremely helpful with all my questions I had regarding my car. Two other pro's that Best Service & Repair provide are printouts of your car codes. No shop does that. Ilona goes over the codes and explains each one to the customer. Last and not least first time customers get a 10% discount on their bill. I am extremely pleased with this shop. David immediately was down to help us, and check out the tire. We walked to the car and he inspected the tire. We found out there was a screw! He then went to get an air tank so he could fill it up so we could be well enough to go buy a tire (he didn't have our kind of tires). He recommends places to go, and told us the info we needed to tell the tire shop. We asked how much we owed him for his time, and he said there was no charge at all. He was happy to help neighbors!
