I was told this was due to a family emergency, which I completely understand -- things like that can happen. However, while driving home from the collision center with my daughter, my entire vehicle shut down on the highway due to a part that was not properly secured. It was terrifying and could have resulted in something much worse. The vehicle had to be towed to Lexus because this location was unable to complete the repair. They initially agreed to pay Lexus for their work and cover the additional rental car expenses -- and while Lexus was paid, they have refused to pay the remaining balance owed to Enterprise. My insurance company has been in contact with the regional manager, who has been unprofessional and extremely difficult to work with, despite the written agreement that they would cover the excess rental cost. It is deeply disheartening that their negligence placed my child and me in danger and that they are now refusing to take full responsibility for their mistake. Would not recommend.

The problem I have is that there was no mention that if I used a credit card to pay for the repairs that I would be charged a 3% fee. Sure, they offered that if I used a debit card, it would not incur a fee. But I did not have $2000 in my bank account at that moment. If I would've known this prior to driving an hour to pick up my truck, I would've had the money transferred to my Bank so I would not incur the $60 fee. Sure, $60 is not much but the lack of communication will earn this company only two stars out of five in my book. I am posting this review so anyone else who uses classic collision will be aware of these fees because Classic Collision will not inform you of this when you drop off your vehicle. Oh! Maybe it was in the fine print. My bad.

I had them remove, repair and repaint my rear bumper at the same visit. First off the woman who helped me at the check in at their Goose Creek location is so kind it was a very easy process. I had come by on a Friday to get an insurance estimate and dropped the car off on Monday morning. They had my car transported to their Mount Pleasant location to speed up repair time. Wow, wow and wow! Super nice, super fast, easy to drop off my Enterprise rental car at location and super easy insurance process. No one likes getting in a wreck, even a minor one, but l will give these guys a call if l need auto body repair again. 5 Stars, two thumbs up! Thanks for your great work! These guys, led by Chip Keller are hacks. If you value your vehicle, DO NOT take it to this place…read more Overall, work was sloppy and unprofessional. Just a few examples: to remove the rusty exhaust pipes, they cut the bolts on the exhaust manifold instead of just cutting off the old pipes. This misstep later led to an expensive trip to the machine shop to repair the damage. The doors were way out of adjustment, causing the need to slam the doors to get them closed. Also, the paint on the door edges and body became chipped because of the maladjustment. To fix this problem later, the fenders had to be pulled forward to access the door hinges, causing the excessive bondo to break. A proper adjustment before painting the car would have avoided this problem altogether. The paint job itself was of such poor quality, that it will need to be completely repainted. What bothers me the most about my experience with Low Country Paint Body & Restoration is that my classic 1965 Malibu SS was treated like a piece of junk during the 3-month stay at this shop. At times I stopped by shop to check on the progress and found the car with food or drinks laying in the trunk or on the roof. I had to point out what I thought were obvious defects that weren't getting fixed, always getting excuses and requests for more money. When I did get the car back, I had to spend hours cleaning up all the dirt and dust that had built up in every nook and cranny of the car. No care was taken to protect the car from the dust and debris that permeated the shop. When I picked up the car, it was covered with thick dust over the new paint. Their remedy was to wash the car using a hose and a long-handled brush (ugh). Since there were no door or trunk seals, water seeped in causing the inner trunk paint to wash off in big blotches. There wasn't one panel on the car that didn't have blemishes. The roof was under-sprayed with color and the grey primer shows through. I was a fool to take my car to Lowcountry Paint Body and Restoration. Please don't make the same mistake I did.
