While this even occurred in the store on Richmond Ave. in Aiken I am posting it at all stores. Since Kendrick is owned by a person I am sure the owner has a say it what goes on in all stores. This could happen to you. I will post this at all Kendrick locations. Kendrick Paint & Body Shop - Aiken, SC 3720 Richland Ave W (803) 649-2676 This place is a sham. I was charged for damage to a car that occurred sometime before we caused any damage. I took his estimate into the shop and asked him questions about the charges. The only words he could say was "I am following the guide". No matter what I asked him the reply was always the same. Avoid this place at all cost. They stated I "accuse our estimator of trying to charge more than should be charged to repair the damage to Mr. Byers's vehicle." I am so very sorry they misinterpreted what I said. I didn't accuse him of anything I was stating a true fact. They also said they billed at customer pay. This is another one of their many lies. See below "Insurance Pay" See below CUSTOMER PAY 0.00 INSURANCE Pay 724.30 Type of Loss: Date of Loss: Days to Repair: 4 Point of Impact: 07 Left Rear Not the entire rear bumper. Another lie. There was previous damage done to the rear bumper in at least two places and I have pictures to prove it. They stated: The gentleman paying for the damages (I am the one paying for my damage and previous damage. (and the complainant on the BBB complaint) was present and disagreed with the process, but the owner of the vehicle did understand and agree. As stated somewhere else he should be ecstatic getting his previous damage payed for by someone else. Later they stated We never had any additional contact with the gentleman and his wife, as they were not our customer. They can't stop lying. Aside comment: If I was the owner and someone else was paying for damages that occurred in the past instead of me, I would have been ecstatic. I did question as to why the bumper had to come off and this is the only time he even acknowledged I was there. His reply as to why the bumper had to come off was, "That's between you and the owner. Why he evened mentioning the owner at this time I really didn't understand and he would or could not explain that to me. As you can see it the picture below, where we bumped his car, the damage was so minimum that the area between the bumper and the car above shows no damage. read more

I called ahead and was told that walk-ins for estinates are welcome. I was in the waiting area barely 5 minures before Jennifer S. came to see my car. She got down and started fixing it right in front of me! She provided a small piece that I had been missing, and was done in no time. When I asked how much I owed them she said it was no big deal and I owed them nothing at all. In all I was here less than 30 minutes. All staff were friendly, service was fast, locariin in convenient and clean, and Jennifer was HONEST with me about the severity of the problem AND so generous as to not even charge me. I will trust this body shop for all future needs - I know they are trustworthy, reliable, efficient, and there's no funny business!!! Had my truck for 22 days! Four attempts to fix my truck Properly. $2800 job. Not a thing was done right!! Pictures of truck shows there pride and craftsmanship once a competitors shop pulled the bed back. (Unfortunately I just realized pics can't be uploaded) BTW this is just part of the damages created from a small job of fixing a jackknife incident. I am so happy that I took my vehicle here to get fixed. I was involved in an accident and had the tow truck drive me directly there. I didn't have to lift a finger dealing with insurance as they sorted that all out for me. They did a great job and returned the vehicle looking like new. However, the reason why I'm writing this review is because a week after I picked up my car, it started having some issues and I took it in. Chuck was so kind and quick, and they filled my transmission fluid up (turns out I was low) for free. I would highly recommend this place for any person who needs car repairs in town. read more

I am very disappointed in the service and craftsmanship at this particular Kendrick location. I was never contacted by my estimator. I was given 5 different due dates and never called to tell me that those dates were not going to be met. I was given excuse after excuse as to why my car was not ready. I have emailed the estimator and as of today nothing has been resolved with my issues. I can't believe that a business of this size has such poor standards when it comes to customer service. I wish I could say I would recommend Kendrick to others, but I am still trying to find a positive to talk about. read more

The quality of customer service and professionalism I received from everyone I spoke to was awesome. Starting with Robert and the administrative staff. I had such a horrible experience with Stateline Towing Company but the staff at Kendrick took care of getting my vehicle, so that I didn't have to deal with it. Once my vehicle got to Kendricks, Steve at shop 3, took over and was very helpful with handling the insurance claim and getting my vehicle repaired in a timely manner. I have had cars repaired several times in my driving life. The most recent was a few years back when I hit a deer. Never have I had a car body repair that was to this quality. You can walk all around the car and can absolutely not see any evidence it was ever involved in an accident. The customer service was over the top. I even received daily emails and texts as to the progress of the repair. Got the car back earlier than promised. read more

Shotty workmanship would be a compliment. Took 1.5 months and they still got it wrong! They took me 3 separate times that my car was ready (after I called to enquire why I hadn't heard from them in weeks) and every time there was problems. Waiting on USAA to fix their mistake of ever referring me here. Pock marks and spiderwebbing in the paint, and they couldn't get my bumper lined up properly. read more
