We have always used Kendrick for repairs & have usually had good experiences...until they are presented with a defect in their work that should be repaired under their warranty. My car was wrecked & repaired at the Wheeler Rd location in 2021. A few months after picking up my completed car, I noticed a small nib or trash in the paint above the drivers rear tire. My fault for not immediately taking it back to them for repair. Four years later, that spot has come off & took some clear coat with it. I took it back to Wheeler Rd & the manager walked all around the car looking for other dents & chips in the paint so she could blame the spot that I actually brought it in for on a rock. I then took it to Kendrick in Broad St. Ms. Robin looked at the spot & immediately said it was due to trash in the paint & pointed out more trash showing in & around the same spot. I then told her Kendrick in Wheeler Rd painted it 4 years ago & is blaming the peeling on a rock. She had to get her manager Chris to look at it. Chris proceeds to literally pick at the spot for 10 minutes in silence. He finally spoke & said it looks like something chipped it but can't tell what, possibly a rock. He said the Wheeler Rd manager would submit pictures to corporate for them to make the determination on what caused it. So you're telling me...one person immediately blames it on a rock, a second person immediately blames it on trash, while a third seems to pull anything out of the air to cover his ass, but you expect "corporate" to determine what happened from a picture? Shame on Kendrick for not standing behind their work like they say they will. And shame on me for not being a bigger complainer about crappy workmanship from the get-go. Lesson learned here-don't go to Kendrick & complain about any work done until it is PERFECT or it won't be covered under warranty. read more

Really disappointed. I have always heard that Kendrick p&b was top notch but I didn't experience this. Initial communication with estimator was really good, provided pictures of damages, informed about parts ordered and received. Then the misinformation started, I was told it was headed to frame shop 3 different times and took me visiting to get this information, I was no longer getting response by phone. My last visit I was informed of the frame was bent and totaled. Went without a vehicle for over 2+ months when they could had completed this task early, why did they bother ordering parts OR was I just told that. Also received several automated messages the repair work was started and going well during that time. Needless to say that I was very disappointed to find out that nothing repair wise was performed. I have no doubt they can do good work but they need to work on customer communications and performing timely checks so the process to either get a replacement car OR a repaired vehicle. At this moment, gut tells me to look elsewhere for your repair needs. read more

I have gotten repeated excuses for delays.. I have used them in tha past and because of their craftsman ship want to use them again.. but any body shop in the CSRA could have done this Work needed. Randall made an inspection and stated the cost of repairs would exceed the cars value. He communicated with my insurance and they sent me another check took title of my 2011 sedan. We have used Kendrick's for years but never again. My wife had her car painted 4 years ago after a wreck and the paint has since peeled off in one little dime sized spot. When we took it in, a lady came out and said it was from a rock, which it clearly wasn't. She said she would call the corporate office and see if they would do anything. We took it to another one of Kendrick's locations for a second opinion and a very nice girl "Robin" came out and said it's clearly trash that was under the paint and pointed out several different adjacent spots. Then a manager "Chris" come out and stares at it and picks at it for 10 minutes and says he doesn't know for sure what it's from but if they said they are going to call corporate then we need to go with that, before walking off. Robin was very apologetic and was trying to be honest, but was apparently overridden by the manager. The website states that customer satisfaction is their priority, but it's actually anything but. They will go out of their way to find a reason NOT to please their customers. Judging by reviews, it looks like other people feel the same. read more

I was rear ended back in nov and Kendrick got me in for an assessment quickly and insurance was paid out shortly after. 5 months later and I'm still waiting on a repair. I understand that parts are in back order but everything I call to see if there is an update I am told they will call me back soon once they call for an update. I have not once gotten a call back. They even take down my number each time. Poor customer service so far. I just want my car fixed or at least get a call back when I'm told I'll get one. My mom needed some cosmetic work for her KIA. The body shop did excellent work. They were kind, professional, and courteous. She is a nurse. Working long shifts and due to traffic she was delayed. The repairs were done well. She called ahead and successfully retrieved her vehicle. read more

What an incredible experience. My truck was in an accident and within a matter of days I got an estimate, parts were ordered and my baby was starting to get fixed. My rental vehicle was brought to me and off I went. During the entire repair, Ms Cotto was in touch with me, either sending me text messages or emails, explaining and describing where we were on my repair. It was ready two days earlier than promised. I could not be happier. So friendly and professional. What a great business. I wish I had more hand so I could give extra thumbs up. read more

I was called tuesday 4/5 stating that my car was ready but i was out of town until 4/8. When i picked up my car on the evening of 4/8, i had to wait 30 minutes just to get my car only to discover my front bumper still had scuff marks on it. i told the adjuster about the marks and he said he'll buff them out, which he did. At the time, that was the only problem i noticed. Once i returned home, 1 hr later, I noticed my lock lug nut was missing from my driver's side tire and sitting in my cup holder. also, a plastic covering from the trunk's frame was missing found sitting in the facedown in the trunk. I also never got a walk around with adjuster/Estimator (Tim), only keys in my hand saying "you're ready to go" when clearly my car wasn't ready. Now tell me how can a reputable shop return a customer's car in this shape. Not to mention my insurance is to pay them $3700 in repair costs. Unexceptable Kendrick's paint and body of 1333 Broad street in Augusta GA. My insurance company will be forwarded these pictures. Called to let them know I'd gotten the call that my car had been totaled out and I would be coming to get my things out of my car I even took off from work early just to get there and they tell me they didn't know I was coming and the lot had been locked up l. I drove 45 minutes for nothing and left my job early I could've stayed at work had I known nobody would relay the message that I was on my way. I do not get off in time to get to the shop before they close and will not be in town much longer so this is very inconvenient. read more

.Kendrick had my car for two months. My husband had a small finder bender in my car which lead me to Kendrick. When I arrived at Kendrick I didn't realize what they did to my car until I got a few miles down the road. I called them and they told me to bring my car back and I couldn't because the bottom of my car was hanging down. After I got home I had a mechanic look at my car. The cover was dragging the ground, the right blinker didn't work, caps off my ac line was missing, my ac no longer works, they left finder clips underneath my hood of my car, and the noise in my dash was still there. My car was serviced and maintenance a few weeks before the accident. Absolutely nothing at all was wrong with my air conditioning. No leaks Freon was full and everything was fine. The AC in my car would freeze you out of it! I stressEd to Patrick about everything and how I was upset about my AC. I stress to him about how my car was returned to me and I was very upset about it. He kept making excuses I asked him how does the AC stopped working by sitting in your shop for two months, he couldn't give me an answer. He also couldn't give me an answer why my car was returned to me in that condition so I reached out to Ben Boone and there again he wanted the insurance company to fix the ac in my car when it wasn't related to the accident. Patrick admitted to me that they unhook some things to the AC to get to the radiator. There was absolutely nothing wrong with that radiator. My AC shouldn't have been touched to begin with. I'm 100% sure that your shop did something to my AC and tried to make me believe that the compressor went out just by sitting in your shop, they would not fix what they messed up and wanted the insurance company to fix it. My car is still at your shop and I will pick it up tomorrow without having Ac. I will not recommend this place to anyone. I do want to let you know that I have contacted a lawyer over this issue. I have proof that there was absolutely nothing wrong with my AC. I'm reaching out to you in hope you will make this right before my lawyer gets involved. read more

Unfortunately, after making our 1 payment on our brand new car I had someone back into it! We brought our car into Kendricks Paint & Body for repairs. Shara Morgan and Bruce Kernaghan did an awesome job and they both made sure the repairs were perfect and that we were happy with the repairs! We were extremely happy with our repairs!!! All they did was repaint a spoiler for warranty work. Honestly it's the worst paint job I've seen by "professionals". Runs, unpainted spots, partially painted spots. When I walked in to the spacious front area all I had to do was make contact with one of the Six reps sitting behind desks and was immediately helped. What's with the fountain in the middle of the room? I requested a certain person as I was referred by my insurance company but wasn't able to get him. Also, I had filled out a form online this weekend while they were closed and mentioned this to the rep. But still had to fill out form again and no mention or callback from the Internet contact form. What good was that Internet form? Anyway, I filled out a basic info form and waited 20 mins before one of the other person behind the desk asked where my car was and would give the estimate. She was good explaining the damage was minor and options of what I could do on my own i.e. Touch up paint and cleaning or wax car. My estimate for my minor scratches would entail replacing the whole bumper for over $530. I decided to live with it. I'd bumped into an idiot pole a few years before and was finally financially solvent enough to take my car in. The folks at Kendrick not only eliminated all traces of the dent for a reasonable price, but they also repainted where the paint on the rear bumper was starting to blister. On top of all that, they offer a free car wash a week for up to a year afterwards. I find it hard to find words for how highly I recommend these folks. read more

This could happen to you. I will post this at all Kendrick locations. Kendrick Paint & Body Shop - Aiken, SC 3720 Richland Ave W (803) 649-2676 This place is a sham. I was charged for damage to a car that occurred sometime before we caused any damage. I took his estimate into the shop and asked him questions about the charges. The only words he could say was "I am following the guide". No matter what I asked him the reply was always the same. Avoid this place at all cost. They stated I "accuse our estimator of trying to charge more than should be charged to repair the damage to Mr. Byers's vehicle." I am so very sorry they misinterpreted what I said. I didn't accuse him of anything I was stating a true fact. They also said they billed at customer pay. This is another one of their many lies. See below "Insurance Pay" See below CUSTOMER PAY 0.00 INSURANCE Pay 724.30 Type of Loss: Date of Loss: Days to Repair: 4 Point of Impact: 07 Left Rear Not the entire rear bumper. Another lie. There was previous damage done to the rear bumper in at least two places and I have pictures to prove it. They stated: The gentleman paying for the damages (I am the one paying for my damage and previous damage. (and the complainant on the BBB complaint) was present and disagreed with the process, but the owner of the vehicle did understand and agree. As stated somewhere else he should be ecstatic getting his previous damage payed for by someone else. Later they stated We never had any additional contact with the gentleman and his wife, as they were not our customer. They can't stop lying. Aside comment: If I was the owner and someone else was paying for damages that occurred in the past instead of me, I would have been ecstatic. I did question as to why the bumper had to come off and this is the only time he even acknowledged I was there. His reply as to why the bumper had to come off was, "That's between you and the owner. Why he evened mentioning the owner at this time I really didn't understand and he would or could not explain that to me. As you can see it the picture below, where we bumped his car, the damage was so minimum that the area between the bumper and the car above shows no damage. read more

I just had a wonderful experience at Kendrick on Broad St. last week. I was in a small car accident and Kendrick was recommended to me. They were very well organized when I got there. The waiting area was nice and clean. The staff at the main desk were all polite. I really liked that they dealt with the other party's insurance company (accident not my fault). I didn't realize that Kendrick had different locations for different insurance companies. I thought it was great that each location specialized in how to handle the insurance part. When I arrived they offered to call a rental car company for me. Another thing I didn't think of was to reserve a car from enterprise and I thought it would be easy enough to do on my own. Unfortunately since I didn't make a reservation and Enterprise had no cars available I had to have my husband pick me up, but just for anyone else going to Kendrick Enterprise will drop off and pick up the rental cars from this location - if you have a reservation. How easy is that?! My car was repaired very quickly. It looks like they even might of washed it. I couldn't even tell that a repair was made it was that good. I'm very happy with the service I received. I hope I never need them again, sorry Kendrick, but if I need future body damage done this is absolutely where I'll go. read more

My service tech Randell did the best he could with everything going on with Covid. I do understand delivery times are unpredictable and uncontrollable. I only wish the communication was a little better. I had to initiate the majority of the communication for status updates. Other than that, everything went about as expected. The work was fine. I can't' even begin to tell you how bad this experience was for me. I hit a deer and had had my car taken to this location. The only nice thing about them was the young lady at the desk. At first I thought it would go well but, after paying for a rental car for 3 weeks my car was still not done. I left work 3 times to try and make the rental car drop time before they closed and was told my car was not ready. They started paying for my car for 3 days and when I went to pick it up I was in shock as to the state of my car. It is a 2013 BMW and it was so crappy I could not believe it. The hood was 1/2 inch up over the front bumper. One light said bmw and one did not. The paint job was a joke and none of the parts fit. I was telling them are you serious. Then I got into the car and my gear shift was all scratched up, there was grease ALL inside my drivers door. I could not believe it. They adjusted my hood then, told me to drive it a week and then bring it back. I was so upset when I left that I forgot my purse and stuff in the rental. I called the Progressive guy and told him all about it and by now the manager at progressive was involved. TO BE CONTINUED. Everything hard to be replaced and it ended up costing the insurance more money. One girl there was nice but it seemed like I was some stupid lady and would not check my car. They kept my car for 5 months and when I got it back for 2 weeks I had to take it back to them because the same side they CLAIMED they fixed was damaged and they refused to fix it! They insulted my intelligence and said that someone must have hit my car. How ironic the same side and spot that I originally took in for repairs showed no scratches or any paint loss. DON'T DO IT. Let me preface this review by saying that I took my car there to have a windshield replaced. I know that I can have someone just come to my work and do this in the parking lot, but I've had to have my windshield replaced there before, and they did a fantastic job. I'm not sure what changed over the past few years, but they are C-R-A-P-P-Y. I dropped my car off yesterday morning at 8 AM. I went back to work, and heard nothing all day, so I called them at 5. I got transferred 4 times...not kidding...4 times...then to a voicemail. I called again and the same thing happened. I called AGAIN and got snotty with them (because WHAT does a person have to do to get someone to walk outside and look for a Honda Civic?!), and they still did the same thing. The 4th and 5th times I tried to call, I got put on an eternal hold, and then no one would answer the phone. Finally, after having to act like an annoying brat in order to get anything done, I got 2 phone numbers for the 3rd party they brought in to fix my windshield. 1) I brought my car to YOU. YOU call them and tell me if it's done. 2) WHY CAN'T YOU JUST WALK OUTSIDE AND LOOK FOR MY CAR?! I called the number, and no one would answer. This guy finally called me back at 2 minutes past 6, and informed me that he went to Kendrick that morning, fixed my windshield, and it had been ready for hours. Well, it's 2 minutes after 6 now, so I can't go get my car...because Kendrick is closed. A windshield replacement takes an hour or less, and then you're not supposed to drive the vehicle for an hour after. By my estimation, my car was probably ready to be driven at 10 AM. I'm sorry for the long review...but it's still not over. I went to Kendrick this morning to beg for my car back (because that's what you have to do apparently). I walked up to a guy sitting inside, and explained what all happened yesterday. His reaction was simply to call someone else, and ask where my car was so he could pull it around. (Umm where's the manager? I'm clearly pissed at this point.) He comes back and tells me it's ready. I walk outside, and it's not my car. Y'ALL. This man was about to hand me the keys to SOMEONE ELSE'S CAR. He then asked me to walk around back with him so I could point out which car is mine. I CAN'T MAKE THIS UP. After repeatedly telling him it was a 2013 Honda Civic Coupe, he then points at a 1990-something Honda Civic Sedan and asks if that's it...... Eventually I see a car blocked by three other cars - I can only see the windshield and the top of the car, and it looks exactly like mine. He goes over to it and can't get into it. I walk back over to my friend's car to tell her the amazing story that's unfolding, and she points to another Honda Civic that also looks like mine. I walk back around and tell the guy, and we start walking toward my car (FINALLY). He hits the unlock on the key fob, the lights flash, and he asks if that's my car. I said YUP, and he asks, "Are you sure?" I said, "ARE YOU SURE?!" and he replied, "I'm never sure." WHAT?!?!?!! read more

Do not take your car to Kendrick's!! A two week job turned into almost 2 months. When I picked my car up, it still was not complete. I was inconvenienced on several occasions because I had to keep going back for them to look at my vehicle and then bring it back when it was convenient for them to fix it. I had a VERY UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE with this body shop. I went in to get my bumper and headlight fixed from hitting a deer. I took it in 3 weeks after the incident b/c I was going out of town. When I went to pick up my car, it had a flat tire. I told the staff and they said they had not noticed it. They proceeded to inspect the tire and found nothing, so they filled it up with air. They told me it was because of the drop in temperatures during that past week. 4 days later the same tire was completely flat. When I took it out to put the spare one in, I discovered it was slit on the side. This obviously happened while my car was at the shop. They claimed that they had nothing in the shop that could have caused that damage and were not going to reimburse me for the slit tire and that their decision was final. A couple of weeks later, I got a call from Lewis Sweeney stating that he was very sorry about what had happened and they were going to reimburse me for "the mistake they had done". He even followed up with an email. 2 weeks later, I called the shop to check on the status of my reimbursement and Mr. Sweeney told me that they had changed their minds and were not going to reimburse me. When I asked for a reason, Mr. Sweeney said "the decision had been overturned". Lewis Sweeney, Tracy Bryant and the staff at Kendrick's paint and body shop are just another pair of greedy business people who only care about them, not satisfying their customers. They have insurance for these types of situations, but were too cheap to do the right thing. I went into the shop to get my car fixed and came out with a broken tire that I had to pay for myself. Really wish I could give less stars.....Avoid Kendricks paint and body on broad street. I had to return my suv after repairs three separate times due to damages that were not repairs completely. 1- my suv would not stay charged so there fix for that was to give me a jump box to use until they could get it back in the shop the next week. 2-my airbag was not completely fixed, I could slide my hand under the steer wheel center piece that cover the airbag and touch parts that you are not suppose to see or even touch. 3- my transmission was slipping. My repairs came to about 12000$ which was a total front end accident. They actually decided that they would be better to repair pieces at a hourly rate vs replacing with new parts there ere actually cheaper. So instead of replacing with new and a cheaper repair they went with fixing and hourly rate. Which lead to this type of repair (pictures included) . Taped and unfinished repairs still bent and newly pressed holes. And this is the FINISHED PRODUCT !!!!! read more

I'm not one to post personal issues/complaints on social media but I'm so disappointed with the service I received from Kendrick Paint and Body. I have overspray all over my car and you can even see where it was taped up. I took it back to them to correct the problem and they are having to keep my car for 2 days. I am without a vehicle and was told they would not give me a rental vehicle. They said that they were going "above and beyond" already. I also have 2 wheels that are gouged but I can't prove that they did it. Just food for thought. Take pictures of the non-damaged parts of your vehicle before you drop it off for repair in front of an employee where you are leaving your car. #lessonlearned #justsick read more

I had horrible service here, first of all they said my car would be ready 7days, it was ready in 10. Everyday after the 7th day they said it would be ready the next day, I came in waited for hours only to be told to try the next day. After they got done with my car, they had destroyed my floor mats and left side rubber door siding, scratched my streering wheel added new scratches and even a dent on the fender. Oh and they forgot to fix one of the dents they were originally meant to! So I had to bring it back the 2nd time. Picking it up 2nd time was a nightmare, it was 90 plus degrees outside so I turned on the AC, the dust that came out of the AC vents was so toxic, I had to pull over on the side of the road to breath. My eyes were red, I coughed for days. I decide to take it back so that they can clean off all the yellowish dust they had left in my car. On picking it up, they had horrible cleaned and sprayed some scent to it but the whitish dust was still in my vent. I gave up on trying to get my car cleaned off this probably toxic dust. I did not want to deal with them anymore!! Never go to the August Store. It's a nightmare there. read more
