This shop was recommended to me for repairs after someone rear ended me. Although it was an absolute ORDEAL dealing with the at-fault driver's insurance company, our car looks fantastic and they gave it back to me cleaner than it has looked in months. Amanda gave me regular updates about the repairs and their issues communicating with the insurance company. I eventually had to get involved and speak to the insurance company directly, which was frustrating and time consuming to do during business hours, especially when my car was being held at the shop already repaired while we awaited their payment. The whole process took around 1 month which is actually what she predicted from the beginning, as she knew they had experienced issues getting timely payment from this insurance company in the past. Do your homework. After scheduling an estimate/appointment through an insurance company, Classic Collision was given all my details of my vehicle. I had several reminder text messages for my 8:30am appointment. Upon arrival it was shared with me the employee assigned to my appointment was not in the office due to emergency. I offered to return at a later time, understanding emergencies are imminent. The friendly desk associate shared she would speak with her manager as this person would be handling the workload. Out comes Karla, (service advisor) who informs me they do not work on Land Rovers at this location and I could go to Sandy Springs if I wish. (Mind you, it took me an hour to arrive on time to my 8:30am appointment to this Buckhead location) Disappointed, I shared that I could go to Sandy Springs and asked if she would set that up. She declined and said I could call them myself. Karla then expressed to me in a condescending tone, "She could google the number for me" , implying I could do the same. I asked her if there was anyone I should speak to at the Sandy Springs location and she said I could just address my needs at the front desk. This visit was a poor use of my time and certainly not great customer service as I need my Land Rover Defender repaired. read more

Romell, Ken, and Paul make a great team. Also the the lovely lady at reception but she was out when I picked up my car so I didn't learn her name. They took great care of my car that was in for paintless dent repair. They finished the work in less than 3 days. Romell then negotiated with my insurance for another two weeks before finally getting that authorization. Eventually, I had to pay out of pocket and asked the insurance to send me a check. But boy that was not for lack of trying. Everyday, Romell gave me updates on his pursuit of our money. They even threw in a free car wash, inside and out on pick up day. You must have patience because they do great work if you give them the time to do so. Enterprise is right next door and they usually meet car renters inside Classic Collision. I don't know about other branches but I only take my car to Classic Collision Buckhead, and ask for Romell! And don't go on a Monday (busiest). read more

As luck would have it I got into a car crash and I was simply devastated. I had just gotten my Camaro less than a year ago. First thought that went through my mind was "This is it! My little sports car is a goner!" [Super Dramatic] My insurance company gave me a list of locations that I could take my car to. I was simply overwhelmed, I'm not so savvy when it comes to car repairs or what I should be looking for. To my surprise a few of my friends had used Classic Collision and spoke very highly of the Buckhead location. Ok LETS GO! Let me tell you that the whole experience was simply DELIGHTFUL! The receptionist was able to get me in right away and connected me with Rasshawn that handles insurance claims. After that it was smooth sailing! He explained when my car would be ready and that they will send me text messages periodically to update me on my car status. I'm happy to say that my car was repaired perfectly and as an added bonus they also washed my car. I highly recommend this place if you need any repairs done. After this last experience, I would NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone. I've brought my car here before and have had great experience but this last time I received horrible service and they STOLE shoes out of my car. When i called and told them i had shoes missing out my car karla stated that maybe i should recheck to make sure they weren't in there... i then decided to go up there because i didn't hear anything back from them after emailing them photos of the shoes. Karla and three other people thought it was hilarious that my shoes were stolen and just didn't seem to have a care in the world. I asked them if they could pull the cameras... they then stated that the GM is out of town until Monday. I'd highly recommend finding another body shop to do your work. You get assigned a representative but then they don't stick with the car and you're gonna be talking to a different person every time. They give you a really ridiculous estimate but then tell you oh it'll take a lot less time than that. But it doesn't. it will take longer . They will even tell you it's almost ready and then it's another two weeks. I just don't think they know what's going on there. there were some severe issues matching the paint and honestly at this point I don't know what else I can do. I would like to take it somewhere else for my insurance already paid for a repair and now I'm stuck with it. I wish I had looked them up on yelp before I had my car taken there. read more

Geico set up an appt for my range rover at this location to repair hit-and-run damage. I read the reviews and was skeptical, but ultimately decided they were paying the claim so I'd give it a shot. Dropped my car off on a Tuesday morning, selected text communication preferences, and left my vehicle behind. Later that day I received text updates with an ETA for Friday. I continued receiving updates over the next few days. I will admit the text updates were a bit confusing. After receiving one saying the car would be ready Friday, I received a follow up text saying parts were ordered and expected to be delivered within 24 to 48 hours. That follow up text was on Friday morning. I honestly did not know what to expect, but ultimately received a call at 3 pm saying my car would be ready for pick up at 5 pm, and it was! The work they did is fantastic. I only bring up the text messages as I think, after reading other reviews it seems communication may not be their strongest attribute. We took our car here after insurance stated it was on the "approved repair shop" list. We had no prior knowledge or experience with this company. Insurance advised it was "a good place." So we trusted them. We do not live in Atlanta, but they would not tow our car 3.5 hours to our body shop, so we were at their mercy to go where we were approved and recommended. It took 4 days to get an estimate, and was only given one because we asked. After the estimate was completed, we called and asked about the rim being "reconditioned for $501. when we could purchase a new one for $350. No answer was given but then we received a "new" estimate to reflect a reduction in the cost from $501 to $289. However, the total estimate then increased by $300. When asked why, the response was "I'll look into it and get back with you." That never happened. I told them we would be contacting the insurance company due to the discrepancies. Was told the car was "ready to be picked up" and asked for the final bill, and was told "I will send it once it is approved by insurance." Well, you have already sent me 2 estimates why not the final? Arrived to pick the car AFTER communicating repeatedly as to the exact time we would be picking it up. The drivers window is damaged and has to be repaired/fixed. When asked why and how it was damaged, "It must have been damaged while they were cleaning it. Get it fixed and we will pay for it." As if I believe that! Also, all 4 tire lights were on and had pressure of 26, which you shouldn't drive on with low profile tires (Charger GT). This should have been checked before arriving to pick it up and completed before we arrived. Had to stop and get air to get to our destination. This is a very shady company to deal with. They change prices, add expenses and when you question them, they have no answer. We will NEVER use them again, and told them this as well. On a side note - we asked about fixing a scratch on the mirror that would be self pay. The estimate to repair the scratch - was double what the price was to repair the one insurance was covering due to the claim. When confronted about this, they reduced the price. We declined. Please , and I'm begging you do yourself a favor by saving yourself the time and headache by ABSOLUTELY not trusting CLASSIC COLLISON of BUCKHEAD with your vehicle I've had the most horrifying experience with this place . My vehicle has taken here in November 2022 for minor hit and run damage to the Passanger door. The work took a month to complete and it was finish 3 days before Christmas . I was called on the day of completion but to to pick up the vehicle I was informed by the GM KEN Gage that my completed vehicle was struck by a town trunk on their property! Pictures will be provided below. I trusted them because it was recommended by my GIECO insurance company. It took an additional 4 months to repair the damage. I received little communication and was advised that due to the nature of the second accident the $500 deductible would be waved. I picked my vehicle up today April 24. The interior of my vehicle had a tear on the roof during repair. They tried to stitch the work with thread that didn't even match nor did they notify me of the ADDITIONAL damage. After they release me my vehicle I took it back 30 minutes later to report the interior damage that I discovered . I was advised the by the management they wanted to collect the deductible after they told me they would curtesy wave it. An additional $16,000 worth of damages where done to my vehicle let's not talk about the depreciation value lost at the hands of this establishment and they had the audacity to go back on there promise once I reported the interior damage. They stated they would fix the rip to my interior I will follow up of this review if they keep there word hopefully it doesn't take and additional 6months and additional damage is not done. The ONLY reason why this review is getting two stars is because of Cameron and the front desk girl (sorry I didn't get her name). Car was done in 2 days, which was great, but my bumper wasn't sitting right, there were flecks/specks on the body, HARD GLUE STAINS ON WINDOWS (PITA to get off), and the list goes on. They fixed the bumper alright, but the rest of the car is dirtier than it was when I dropped it off, and same goes for the rear bumper. Won't be coming back. read more

This shop had my car for over a month for ONE headlight replacement. I literally had to tell this shop I was coming to pick up my car regardless if it was ready because they had so many delays and kept my car for so long and I was about to miss a pre planned vacation. Before I begin, I want to say that every single mechanic I spoke to on the phone was nothing but kind and helpful. Thank you Ken, Kyle, and any other mechanic at this place for doing your best in giving updates and taking ownership of any delays. I appreciate you! As for the overall experience, the lack of communication and zero clarity on where your car is in the process is just embarrassing. Sending out one text message with a link with vague stops saying "Started" "Finished" and "Picked Up" isn't going to cut it in 2023. Your automated text feature is trash. When I dropped my car off on July 11th, I was told that I would see a 30-day pickup timeframe just as a precaution but that it wouldn't take up to 30 days for the car to be repaired. We are talking about replacing a headlight. That's it. One headlight. And to a certain extent, they were right about the timeframe. I didn't pick up my car on August 11th. I was pushed back to August 14th. I didn't pick it up on the 14th. I was pushed back from the 14th to the 18th of August. I didn't pick my car up on August 18th because it was pushed out AGAIN to August 21st. I didn't pick my car up on the 21st because the date was pushed out YET AGAIN to the 25th of August. I didn't receive so much as a phone call for any of the 5+ times my car was delayed. Why the delay you ask? A calibration test. A test that takes 45 minutes to complete took over 2 weeks to get done. Each time I called, I was on hold for 15 minutes at a time, had to speak with three different people to get an update on my car, and sometimes they would even send me to the receptionist at the wrong location....HOW? When I asked to speak to the General Manager, Sonny, he gave me more excuses than solutions on what it was going to take it get my car completed. When I came to pick up the car on AUGUST 24th at 4pm, not one person spoke to me. Sonny sat in his office while Kyle got my paperwork done. He didn't even come out of his office and I know he knew I was there to get the car. We had just spoken on the phone. Every other employee there didn't acknowledge me, sat around talking, and gave the impression they could care less. If it is going to take this long each time, at least offer your customers a deal on a rental car or something. Maybe don't tell your customers that the completion date of 30 days is just there as a "placeholder". I will never use this place again and trust and believe I will encourage anyone I know not to use this place either regardless if you are paying or your insurance is. Do better! read more

From the moment you drive your car onto their lot to the moment you drive out, someone at Classic Collision is always assisting you. I had a car that had been in a rear-end collision repaired here. The insurance company of the person who caused the accident was GEICO. A GEICO representative, Xavier, was at Classic Collision when I took the car in. As soon as I stepped out of the vehicle, Xavier wrote down all the necessary information, took the car key, and snapped photos, while two Classic Collision employees came out to assess the damage and an Enterprise Rent-A-Car employee, Wade, readied a rental car. With all these separate parts working efficiently and simultaneously, I was out and on my way in about 15 minutes. During the repair phase, GEICO promptly emailed a vehicle damage report with photos and Caitlynn at Classic Collision emailed almost-daily updates on the car's repair status. For example, one day, Caitlynn emailed to report that parts were ordered and the shop was waiting on them to arrive. Another day, she emailed to report the car was in the reassembly and detail phase. The back bumper and decklid were replaced and quality of the repair work was superb. Classic Collision of Buckhead can't make auto body repairs, car rental, and insurance any more transparent or painless. read more

"B*tch On Wheels . . . Again!!" That's right, friends. Sometimes, things happen. Like car accidents. And when they do, you have to know to whom you should turn. My vote, yesterday, today (literally) and (I hope not but not gonna lie, it'll probably happen) tomorrow . . . Classic in Buckhead. Marnee is the coolest and sweetest woman. The "intake" person, so to speak - you deal with her first, on the phone and when you walk in the door. She remembers you, the woman can multi-task better than most anyone I've ever seen and she's very attentive to detail (you know, the little things like - oh, did your insurance co send us a check or are you paying? That kind of stuff. Very helpful.). I just picked up my recently-wrecked Highlander today. Previously, Classic Collision has fixed a BMW or two for me, a Mercedes and a few other cars among various family members over the past 20 years. They do good work; I'm with Progressive now, and while Classic isn't one of their "lifetime-guaranteed" shops, I had zero qualms having the work done there because I know it was done right. The two best things about my most recent experience? 1) My wreck was less than two weeks ago and even though it's the holidays, I have my car back (it was about 4K of damage, so it wasn't a "light" amount of work), but even better 2) Progressive paid for a replacement tire that didn't have to be replaced and Classic negotiated with them . . . long story short - I got the cost of the tire deducted out of my 1K deductible. Extraordinary RIP-OFF artists they juggle excuses to stall: Front end damage and an insurance claim, no rental insurance. Day one (tow was 4 hours late) Shawn A your car came late in the day we won't have time to get to it today but tomorrow I will get right on it. Day two: i'm not the Shawn K assigned to your case it's the other Shawn but I'll call you back by 5 PM if you don't hear back from me call me. I called him at 4:30, left message, 5 and 530 left messages no call back. Receptionist say that 2 Shawn's are working on my car as a team. Day three: after multiple calls and run arounds they told me they had taken photographs of the damages and we are waiting to hear back on the price of the special parts. We've had a bunch of cars coming in and we have had to give estimates on those. You are still in line. Day four still waiting to hear back on the price of the parts so that we can submit it to the insurance company. We are not allowed to spend very much time on one car in one day. We are only given four hours of mechanics work hour Per day per car that gives us very little time to work on a vehicle in one day. Day five Shawn king assigned to your car is off today nothing will be done to your car today. We are still waiting to hear back on the price of those special parts. When I asked the name of the company they were doing business with, their phone number, who I can contact to see how I can help to expedite this communication of parts price so we can submit it to the insurance company their replies, "oh, that's not my job." He can't tell me anything. whose job is it? He doesn't know that either. DAY6: they inform me they're not allowed to touch my vehicle because you did not go online and fill out a permission slip. Nothing has been done to your car nobody is allowed to touch it. Why didn't anybody tell me about such a form that needed to be filled out? I have been speaking to receptionist and mechanics every day and no one ever said to me that some online form needed to be filled out. They are great at excuses, run around, they are not trustworthy and they are not honest there's something very deceptive about their practices communication initiated from them is nonexistent you have to call them in the morning 10am and afternoon 4pm. They are not True to their word with responses of what they're doing, what they're going to do, none of it's true from my case. Day 7 The reason why I was not informed that there's an online form that needed to be filled out prior to this company taking action it's because the lady in charge was not at work and they received so many cars it was overwhelming. She assures me it's not "incompetency." At the prompting of my insurance company USAA the manager Ryan Hunsucker was required to call me and apologize. It opened up a whole new set of lies and excuses to try to cover-up their incompetency, this is a pattern of deception, this time to cover up their mistakes on the backend. Their stalling technique's,all to make the story sound better of all their failures have now changed once again to use the excuse that there's only two measurement racks and it took two days for it to get up on the rack. That's the first I heard of that. The manager did not want Mr. King to tell me that and did Nied it and try to change Mr. King's response. Too late I heard it loud and clear. The manager stated that my car was not delayed in anyway. You be the judge. I asked Ryan Hunsucker if they recorded the conversation to play back for USAA and they said, yes. I reported that to USAA as well and I'm asking them to listen to that conversation. Since my communication with USAA was on a daily basis along with classic collision, USAA has a day by day diary of what had happened through my telephone conversations with them. So for classic Collision to go back and try to adjust their story profoundly while mine story is consistent, is futile for them. No insurance company should do business with them! If you choose this place good luck you've been warned. After all the messages left on answering machines Finally received a call back that was required by my insurance company. He clearly did not want to talk to me. He did not seem like he cared anything about my situation and certainly didn't believe that his company did anything wrong. Continued to lie and tell me they had spoken with GEICO and were waiting on their approval and GEICO had not received any invoice from them. They had my car for three weeks before they even started ordering parts, then they ordered the wrong parts. I got my car back with my AMG rims scuffed on the side. Once my car was finally ready, I get up here and Karla had no idea what she was doing with the paperwork and had me sitting and waiting forever on my car. I would absolutely NEVER COME HERE AGAIN! This experience was incredibly awful. Customer service was nonexistent. No one knows what they're doing at all. It is so much back and forth this was quite literally the worst business I have ever visited. Terrible place. They have zero empathy whatsoever. No follow up. I had to call to get updates on my car. Every time the pick up date came they didn't even call and tell me it was pushed back, I had to call up there almost every single day and on days no one would get back to me I had to physically drive up here and wait to speak to someone. I'm sitting here STILL as we speak waiting on Karla to "get help" with the paperwork that should have been complete. I have no idea how this place is in business. Even my GEICO adjuster stated she wished she had sent me to another place, this one just had an opening that morning. I wonder why?! As I sit here and continue to wait on them to finish "paperwork" she moved my car to the back of the building "so I wouldn't take it." When I first came in I was greeted by Marnee. Her customer service was awesome. I do feel she went above and beyond her duties. I mention this because I don't want this review to affect her. I got both estimates, left my car, told them to proceed with the repairs. A month later, I go to pick up my car and the quarter panel wasn't blended. They told me to take my car then bring it back. But I left it. They claimed not to have the prior estimate in their system so I emailed them my copy. They then requoted me an estimate for over twice the price. After the estimator told me verbally that it was would Cost about $300. The original quote was for $687. Then requoted the job for $1300, then $998. read more

I had my Range Rover Sport repaired in August by Classic Collision of Buckhead. When making repairs, a part was added that should have been a part of the vehicle when I bought the vehicle from Hennessy Landrover of Buckhead. This part was NOT properly installed and came off during the storms related to the effects of the hurricane Atlanta experienced on September 11th. I took the vehicle back to Classic. The service guy put the part back on but did not repair the damage to the bumper caused by their negligence and lack of original repair. I have been given the run-around by this facility and DO NOT recommend them for your repair needs at all. Shameful! read more

Geico and I paid $3500 for very minor damages, and my car received an alignment with BENT, USED parts. I've had my car not even two weeks and the wheel is shaking. I go to get things checked out and another tire has been ripped due to the faulty replacement. Recently my car went head to head with a city bus...and came out limping. I needed a convenient place to get the damage repaired so I turned to Yelp and based on the reviews I went with Classic Collision. Perhaps they were having an extraordinarily eventful day but at least half a dozen other people came in for estimates on their cars while I was waiting for them to look at mine. I appreciated that they had an in-house Enterprise so I could quickly get a loaner and get on with my day. (Though I don't doubt that the convenience came at a cost.) Mike promised that my car would be ready in seven business days which seemed reasonable enough but in reality it took almost twice that long. As a result I had to tack an extra week onto the rental. I have Geico for my car insurance. Recently I was in an accident and they recommended I use this shop. Pros. The people here are nice for the most part. Very helpful and friendly. There is a coffee/tea station while you wait that is well stocked. There is enterprise rent a car inside this location that makes it so convinient. I can go inside with my pup. I love that! Cons Communication seem to need much improvement. Dealing with a woman that works in one of the offices, she would tell me one thing regarding an uodate that is way off from what I had been told by someone else. Thia happened about 3 times. It isnt acceptable and ppl shouldnt guess talk. They should be well informed before giving you an update. As a result, i had to take my car back a second time b/c what they said was fixed wasnt fixed. Ultimately, this is a car repair shop. Having nice people helps but doing the actuall job is the point. read more

Do not take your car here!!!!! worst customer service experience ever. Car takes twice as long as they say. They never called me to let me know where we stood with the car getting done. If i called they said they would call me back in 5 min. Never heard back from anyone. When i went to pick the car up they had done a really bad paint job and 2 pairs of very expensive sunglasses were stolen out of the center console. Terrible customer service! I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. They forgot to fix a damaged tire before returning a repaired vehicle. After scheduling an appointment to have it fixed I showed up early and we told the person who could repair the tire was not in. O guess only one person can repair a tire at this place. Scheduled a 2nd appointment and have been waiting over 2 hours for what I was told would be about 1 hour. Have been offered a rental car several times. I just want my car fixed an returned so I can get the help out of this terrible place. If I could give 0 stars I would. read more

I don't think I've ever reviewed an establishment before where I sat down wishing for more stars to give... I am the happiest little Yelper ever right now! So I had an unfortunate thing happen a few weeks ago when a woman opting to use her Lexus camera in her SUV backed into my car. The damage fortunately was isolated to my right front Fender. Don't even get me started on how retarded that whole situation was... have we really gotten to the point where we're too lazy to turn around when we back up? Who puts that much trust in a machine? I digress.... Anyways, I found myself in need of a pretty big band-aid. Liberty Mutual (her insurance company) recommended me Classic Collision of Buckhead. Since I don't have a regular shop I go to and they were paying for EVERYTHING I went with it. I picked up my car this afternoon and could not be more pleased with how things went. Turns out that the company that supplied the fender to Classic Collision gave them a used one. ***** OH My Gosh!!! Shocker there!!! A car company trying to screw somebody over! ****** Fortunately my representative sent the fender back and got a new one for my baby. We don't do hand me downs in this house! It was nice to hear in the middle of the week that they had my back and were looking out for the best interest of me and my ride. I drive a 2008 Accord Coupe. Nothing special in most eyes, but I absolutely love my car. While in the shop this week she celebrated her 1 year birthday. Sadness.... Surrounded by several high end (is "whips" the word I'm looking for here) cars I was concerned about the level of attention that was going to be given to her. I picked her up today and the car looks immaculate. The paint job matches perfectly, the alignment was taken care of, and they even washed both interior and exterior for me. I am so happy to be behind the wheel of something other than the Dodge Avenger that enterprise gave me for the week. boooooooo...... I'd recommend anyone in need of some car plastic surgery to stop by and meet for an estimate at Classic Collision. I obviously can't speak for the other locations, but there are 7 total in Atlanta. I was told this evening when I was picking it up that they guarantee there work for as long as you own the car. I'm sold... The funny thing about this review is that even though I gave them an easy 5 stars I don't EVER want a reason to have to go back! read more

Absolute worst service I have ever received. No one returned calls, I would ask for one person to get back with for only for a different staff member get in touch with me, and no one kept me updated on the status of my car. I had to take it back the day after I picked it up because a sensor light was going off (that was not going off before I dropped it off in the shop). They took it and told me it was fixed. I drove off the lot and the light came right back on. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the time and hassle. Do not take your business here. read more

Shocked to see anything less than 5 stars here. Price was competitive and customer service was excellent. When I took it in for a quote the gentleman that did my quote noticed that some of the scratches were superficial and removed them without a charge in the 10 minutes I was there. When I finally dropped my car of Marnee was so sweet and welcoming and made sure I was taken care of. James S. was my service advisor and got the car done before the estimated time and updated me frequently. Best of all- my car looked better than ever. They are very good at what they do and I would use them again. read more

Absolute worst customer experience I have ever had. If you have ANYTHING more serious than a dent or paint scratch DEMAND TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Classic is inequipped and untrained to handle or properly assess frame work and will spiral you down a nightmarish hole of incompetence at your expense and frustration. You'll see this echoed in some other reviews-- I wish I had listened to those when I initially read them. This ineptitude is compounded by half-ass work and questions of mine being brushed off like they were an irritant. They misquoted the most critical parts of my repair which inflated the cost to my insurer. I caught them, then they either falsified the readings on one of their machines or it was so neglected it's readings had no worth. Furthermore, there were fundamental facts about my car that were incorrectly presented to me as true. (ie: not knowing if it was unibody or body-on-frame construction....an easy Google lookup). I felt like I was talking to a dismissive wall when I asked for clarification on a position they were taking. If Geico sends you here as a part of their XPress program, know this: it's a direct referal program that targets customers with minor body work to eliminate cometition and overhead to save both companies money at your cost--- literally, and the quality of work will suffer too. TO REITERATE: do not even bother stepping foot on this property if your car has any more damage than a dent or swapped paint, even if your insurance 'reccomends' them. They will ruin months of your life with half assed due diligence and no remorse, I cannot stress this enough. Save yourself. I wish I could write a more scathing review to convey my disgust of how my vehicle and I were treated, but that would probably involve lots of swearing and be removed. In their defense, I think some other Classic locations might be okay, but the Buckhead one is abysmal. If I could rate my experience in the negatives, I would without hesitation. read more
