This was my second visit to this location, and once again, the service was excellent. I noticed a nail in my front tire before I had any major pressure issues, so I stopped by to have it checked. They were busy when I arrived, and I expected a long wait, but Alex called me over within just a few minutes. He was incredibly kind and helpful, came outside to inspect the tire with me, confirmed there was a small leak, and got the repair process started right away. David handled the repair and kept me updated. My car was taken back quickly, and the entire visit was probably around 30 minutes, certainly no more than 45. Before I knew it, the tire was repaired, my car was ready, and I was back on the road with no issues. The team was friendly, efficient, and professional from beginning to end. After two great experiences, I genuinely trust this location and would highly recommend them. read more

Best place in Atlanta for tires! Very honest, friendly and fast service! They will replace wind shield wipers if needed and also can just pull up for air in tires. read more

If you don't see an appointment slot available, just go there (the site also says walk-ins welcome) especially right at the start of the day. We took our car here because the tire we'd had repaired at another shop was showing low pressure again. It turned out that we had yet another nail in that same tire, that needed to be plugged, and the other repair was still holding up fine. They charged us nothing for the repair. We won't be deterred in the future if we don't see availability for appointments for a few days. Ultimately it's better to just go there and wait to be assured that the job is done well. And when it comes time for new tires, we will definitely give the business to this establishment. read more

One of the worst discount tires you can come too. They are always busy , they don't abide by the appointment times set. I sat there and waiting to be asked what I was here for and no one had acknowledged me. My appointment was at 1:30 and I was asked at 1:45 what I needed help with and they told me to wait and yet no one has assisted me still. read more

I'm very happy with the service. The repair was done carefully, and the staff was polite and helpful. Everything went smoothly.

Today morning my Mazda Miata's Tire Pressure Monitoring System light went off. Quickly called Discount Tire to check availability. They said I could drop by anytime today, the sooner the better. On arrival, there was a sign that read "Free Air Check". Followed the signs to meet a mechanic who inflated up my tires back to the recommended pressure without any fuss for free. Super quick and efficient! Would highly recommend! read more

This is the only place I want to use for tires. I've been a loyal customer for years, but what is making me leave a review today after all this time is how exceptional their customer service was after some hiccups with a tire replacement. After being here over the weekend, I had to come back in today for further service and Gerson immediately handled things with transparent, professional, and friendly service. He got me in and out in less than 30 minutes and followed up to make sure all my needs were handled (they were). The respect for my time, energy, and finances meant so much to me. Gerson, you've left me a very happy customer and exceeded my expectations. Thank you for your stellar service. I appreciate you and I'll see you guys next time! read more

Always great service. Nathan was courteous and got me taken care of promptly. This is definitely my go-to tire spot.

Bought 4 Pirelli P4 Persist tires and wiper blades here 3 weeks ago. Have heard about This place for years as a reliable n service-oriented shop. They matched a documented price I received somewhere else with no problem. Wish I could remember the name of the service fellow who I dealt with. Such an easy going transaction. I set up time to arrive with them. Fast in and out- Five stars all around. Just wish they had alignment and did suspension service. read more

I'm go glad that this location will soon be my main place because I am thoroughly impressed. Enough to write an updated review. I was super, super impressed that when the guy said my car will get done no later than 11:50 AM. This was super on point. I literally got into my car and saw the time to be 11:49 AM. Impressive right?! I've heard the spiel that we aren't busy and that it should take so and so long. It's hardly that accurate in my opinion. But I guess with an appointment and it being the pre-holidays, I guess people are out of town already. Or so that's what I heard the employees saying about the flow of customers two days before Xmas Eve. Also make note that this location is currently undergoing renovations/maintenance in their lobby so there's a temporary trailer setup. It does include chairs, proper restrooms, and proper heating though so don't fret. read more

Discount Tire - They were able to patch this bad boy up free of charge. - Tires Near Me - Chamblee, Georgia

Over years I have bought numerous sets of tires from Discount Tire and always felt I received good value and service. That has changed. With my new set of tires I have bad vibrations. Several attempts to balance the tires failed. Took it to another location and found that wheel is damaged (looks like it was dropped). Very disappointed in both the quality of workmanship and transparency when issues happen. Will never go back. read more

It was very busy, but very organized and coordinated. Super clean! read more

As a woman sometimes working with any car services can be a little nerve wracking! I always love working with Discount Tire to get my tires serviced. This location specifically takes great care of their customers and ensures that they are giving them the best quality tires needed for their cars! Today, I worked with Zac & he was extremely helpful and had amazing customer service. He informed me of all the necessities needed to fix and replace my tires. I was estimated to wait 30-45 minutes to get everything fixed, and I only waited just about 30 minutes. They're quick and efficient with their service! Staff is great and place was very busy so my complaint isn't that the tire swap took a while. It's that their automated time estimate system was wildly inaccurate. That's a corporate problem not a store I would imagine. But still if you say it'll be done at 4:34 and they don't pull the truck into the bay until 4:36 then that math ain't mathing. Better to give me a conservative estimate than one that is absurdly optimistic. Would have gone home and come back if I'd know it'd take that long. read more

Overall a good experience. The shop diagnosed the problem accurately and kept me updated throughout the process. The repair was done properly, and the car drives smoother now. The only thing that kept it from being 5 stars was the slightly higher cost than I expected, but the quality of work was solid. read more

Overall, a reliable auto shop with skilled mechanics. The work quality was excellent. The only downside was the extended service time.

Discount Tire in Chamblee, GA has provided me with the best customer service experiences that I have experienced in a long time. I just got my tires replaced today and was extremely pleased with the service. The staff that I encountered were knowledgeable, professional and courteous. From my initial contact with Mike, who ordered my tires yesterday to Jesse and Alex who made sure that I was pleased with my tire service to the crew of installers who impressed me with the care and attitude in making sure everything that was just as I requested. Also, a special shoutout to the young man (I am sorry that I did not get his name) who acknowledged me and my car from yesterday with a welcoming greeting. I was very pleased. Recently purchased 4 new tires for my MB. Discount price-matched and installation was great. The great part is when I got a 3"gash in one and needed it replaced. I hit a median that damaged/destroyed my rear left tire and went to Discount Tire to have the tire replaced. On my way there, with just a tiny spare tire on my SUV, my GPS stopped working and I got lost. I was distraught at this point and called Discount Tire for directions and Tico answered. He was so patient in directing me to their location. When I arrived, I met Tico and worked with him to service my car. My tire was still under warranty so the cost was minimal. He recommended I get a new spare tire since my current one was almost at its max life. They didn't have my tires in stock so I had to wait on the tires to arrive from another location. Tico communicated well, showed compassion and patience. This is the second Discount Tire location I've worked with and their customer service was excellent each time! I'll definitely keep coming to Discount Tire for my tire needs! Thank you Tico!!! read more

I called and spoke to someone and told them I had a tear in my sidewalk of my tire! They told me to swing on by and they could help me today! I started in the free air tire and while waiting noticed the parking lot super full so was worried I shouldn't have come The guy in the free air line told me he really recommends me replacing the tire bc since the tire had a tear in the beads area waiting could cause a tire blowout which is more damage to the car. He was very nice and told me they should be able to do it today I went inside and Jonathan c helped me he said they had my tire in stock and it would only take about an hour if even to change my one tire. (It's great bc I called two previous tire places in the am and they said they had no avaliability. ) Then with cost replacing my tire is more expensive than most cars but I was surprised with how affordable this was compared to other times I had tire issues. I did get the insurance as well which was affordable Jonathan C was the guy that helped me inside and Carlos was the tech that replaced my tire! Shoutout to them and the guy at the free air queue everyone was so nice, efficient and because of them and their service I recommend discount tire to everyone! read more

If you cannot spend a lot of $ on tires, this is the place to go. I usually get their brand. They have an excellent system in place to rapidly move customer through the door and out. Appointments not required, but I recommend it. With an appt, I have already called and selected the tire, I was out in 1hr. read more

Blew a tire yesterday on I-85! Thank goodness for the run-flats on my Corvette because I was able to manuver off the highway and the first thing I did was google for the closest Discount Tire. My husband and I usually use the store in Snellville, but I made a beeline for the store on Peachtree Road. Wow! What an excellent experience the technicians and service guys treated me to! Jesse spent over 30 minutes on the phone trying to find the exact tire I needed (a very specific Michelin tire) that was "closest enough" to be brought to the store and put on my car. Jesse was absolutely fabulous, kept me updated all afternoon and was determined to get me on the road that same day AND he did! I cannot say enough good things about the folks at DT and will not take my vehicles anywhere else! Thanks guys!!! read more

So I came in and had good and fast service. Reggie took care of me. I had a tire that was basically spewing air and they got me in and out. Came in with a nail in my tire, after replacing my tire I was still losing air... Went back for them to tell me that my wheel was cracked. I had no issues with tire pressure until the nail.... Asked for camera proof of nobody dropping or damaging my wheel... said they didn't have it. Employees did not take me nor my family seriously. Laughed and played in our faces and would not take accountability for damaging the wheel. Shit happens, but it would have been nice for them to take some accountability. read more

Do not go to this discount tire location if you expect any sense of attention to detail. I got a FREE tire patch repair where they chipped my OEM rim and did not point it out until I inspected the wheel after they handed me my keys. They also lost my valve stem cover and put a random black plastic replacement on there. Additionally they removed all weights previously added by Ford to balance the wheel and re attached it without any weights. They had me send my wheel to a repair shop that fixed the chip, but then scratched the wheel again rebalancing it. When I got home I noticed they stuck the balancing weights on existing adhesive residue so they would have fallen off instantly if i didn't notice. The technicians do not care about your wheel and just rush their work. I would have gladly paid a fair dollar amount for them to take their time and actually produce quality work. read more

I just purchased two tires there for the first time in many years. Jose was amazing. Very responsible very proactive match the price for me from another provider and had them installed and delivered within three hours. Outstanding, I highly recommend them. read more

Everyone was friendly and polite. However, my issue is with the appointment protocols. I had an appointment and still had to wait nearly 2 hours to have 2 tires changed out, even though I arrived early. My entire day was thrown off. People who came in after me came and went while I sat there with no communication on my vehicle's status. I watched my vehicle sit in the parking lot untouched for more than an hour and kept being told that "I'd be taken care of." If a business recommends that customers book appointments for service, the establishment should stick to appointment times and deliver as promised. read more

So, a few days ago, I took my mother's car up to Discount Tire because she had gotten a flat and we realized that both her front tires had ZERO tread. They fixed the tires in about an hour (I was a walk-in), and the price was $256. While I waited, I walked around the shopping center across the street and even made a quick stop at Lowe's for an umbrella. When I got a text from DT, I headed back and poked my head inside for about 30 seconds, they handed me my keys and a receipt with a thank you and sent me on my way. 3 days later... My mother was driving the car and a kid on a skateboard fell OF THE SIDEWALK INTO THE STREET IN FEONT OF HER, so she swerved to avoid hitting him and managed to put a tear into the wall of one of the brand new tires. ‍ Today, I brought the car back up and explained what had happened. One of the managers said he would do what he could to get me a good deal. I should mention that during the previous visit, they told me that I should really consider changing one of the back tires as well because it was in the yellow. There's a chart that shows a color-spectrum red=bad/Law says you MUST replace, yellow=not good/DT recommends replacing, green=OK-to-great/no need to replace. I chose to just do the 2 front tires and wait until I absolutely needed to change the 1 back tire (then I'd just go ahead and replace both rear tires at the same time), that way the car could be on a rotation cycle of replace 2, rotate 2, and it wouldn't be too expensive or throw everything out of whack with just 1 tire that didn't have as much tread as the others.... Anyway, since he did the inspection of the vehicle, he suggested (again) that I go ahead and replace that other tire as well. I said no thanks, but then he gave me a discount of about $110... So, I went ahead. The total cost of todays 2 tires? $147. The service was great, the in-out time was acceptable (they had a line both times I came in), and the discount was above and beyond. Yes, if I need another tire, I'll be coming back. read more

I had the unfortunate experience of a flat tire in the rain hours before picking up guests from the airport. I called discount tire, gave them my tire specifics(I was looking for a particular continental tire), they had it, and I was seen immediately. It was busy but they were able to get me in and out in an hour or so as promised by phone which I appreciated. All in I paid $200-250 for the tire and service. Naturally they tried to sell me on new tires and an insurance policy. I asked to see the terms of the insurance policy and they were unable to find them or locate them online. They quickly lost interest in selling to me when I asked specifics which was suspicious to me. Naturally, I didn't purchase the plan, but my rating largely reflects their ability to get me in and out. read more

Wow - five stars - I was definitely jaded based on bad past experiences with another major tire place starting with "M". I had an 11:15 appointment, new set of tires were shipped from Tire Rack the day prior - I arrived late at 11:25 and was out of there at 11:58. The guys were super nice and thorough. They even wrapped the one tire I wanted to keep in plastic and put it in my trunk for me. But - perhaps most importantly - respectful of my time and understanding that people need to get in & quickly if waiting there during a work day. Awesome. read more
