If you don't see an appointment slot available, just go there (the site also says walk-ins welcome) especially right at the start of the day. We took our car here because the tire we'd had repaired at another shop was showing low pressure again. It turned out that we had yet another nail in that same tire, that needed to be plugged, and the other repair was still holding up fine. They charged us nothing for the repair. We won't be deterred in the future if we don't see availability for appointments for a few days. Ultimately it's better to just go there and wait to be assured that the job is done well. That's a corporate problem not a store I would imagine. But still if you say it'll be done at 4:34 and they don't pull the truck into the bay until 4:36 then that math ain't mathing. I was super, super impressed that when the guy said my car will get done no later than 11:50 AM. This was super on point. I literally got into my car and saw the time to be 11:49 AM. Impressive right?! I've heard the spiel that we aren't busy and that it should take so and so long. It's hardly that accurate in my opinion. But I guess with an appointment and it being the pre-holidays, I guess people are out of town already. Or so that's what I heard the employees saying about the flow of customers two days before Xmas Eve. I hit a median that damaged/destroyed my rear left tire and went to Discount Tire to have the tire replaced. On my way there, with just a tiny spare tire on my SUV, my GPS stopped working and I got lost. I was distraught at this point and called Discount Tire for directions and Tico answered. He was so patient in directing me to their location. When I arrived, I met Tico and worked with him to service my car. My tire was still under warranty so the cost was minimal. He recommended I get a new spare tire since my current one was almost at its max life. They didn't have my tires in stock so I had to wait on the tires to arrive from another location. Tico communicated well, showed compassion and patience. This is the second Discount Tire location I've worked with and their customer service was excellent each time! I called and spoke to someone and told them I had a tear in my sidewalk of my tire! They told me to swing on by and they could help me today! I started in the free air tire and while waiting noticed the parking lot super full so was worried I shouldn't have come The guy in the free air line told me he really recommends me replacing the tire bc since the tire had a tear in the beads area waiting could cause a tire blowout which is more damage to the car. He was very nice and told me they should be able to do it today I went inside and Jonathan c helped me he said they had my tire in stock and it would only take about an hour if even to change my one tire. (It's great bc I called two previous tire places in the am and they said they had no avaliability. ) Then with cost replacing my tire is more expensive than most cars but I was surprised with how affordable this was compared to other times I had tire issues. I did get the insurance as well which was affordable Jonathan C was the guy that helped me inside and Carlos was the tech that replaced my tire! Do not go to this discount tire location if you expect any sense of attention to detail. I got a FREE tire patch repair where they chipped my OEM rim and did not point it out until I inspected the wheel after they handed me my keys. They also lost my valve stem cover and put a random black plastic replacement on there. Additionally they removed all weights previously added by Ford to balance the wheel and re attached it without any weights. They had me send my wheel to a repair shop that fixed the chip, but then scratched the wheel again rebalancing it. When I got home I noticed they stuck the balancing weights on existing adhesive residue so they would have fallen off instantly if i didn't notice. The technicians do not care about your wheel and just rush their work. I would have gladly paid a fair dollar amount for them to take their time and actually produce quality work. read more

Everyone was friendly and polite. However, my issue is with the appointment protocols. I had an appointment and still had to wait nearly 2 hours to have 2 tires changed out, even though I arrived early. My entire day was thrown off. People who came in after me came and went while I sat there with no communication on my vehicle's status. I watched my vehicle sit in the parking lot untouched for more than an hour and kept being told that "I'd be taken care of." If a business recommends that customers book appointments for service, the establishment should stick to appointment times and deliver as promised. read more

I called this discount tire location and had an appointment schedule for 4 brand new pirelli tires at 8:15am. These tires I was told had to be ordered and would arrive Wednesday. I had an appointment for the next day at 8:15am. The next day, I walked into the building and was assisted my one of the employees who had asked me several questions, one of which was, why do you want to replace the tires on your car? This should not matter, I asked for a service and am paying for a service and should be obliged. I was checked in after the young man checked all four tires and told me that the tire installation will be done at 9:09am. After being checked in for service, the young man came to me while I was sitting waiting for service and asked me what tires were to be installed? Side note: this should already be in the system). He then tells me that the "system" had erased the tires from the inventory. Previous to Wednesday, I made an appointment on Tuesday and was told the tires would be delivered Wednesday. So, I scheduled for Thursday at 8:15am. When the young man approached me about the "system" erasing the tires from the inventory, he said that he will triple check to see if the tires have been delivered. 10mins later, the same employee who has checked me in was also the same one checking for the tires. He then informs me that the tires had not been delivered. I also, paid prior to the tires being delivered and installed on my vehicle. I was told "I'm terribly sorry" that this has happened, this was repeated several times, even on Friday. The tires were then rushed to the store on Thursday and were installed. I was informed that the tire light would go off as soon as I drove for a few minutes. After driving a few minutes in 50 degree weather, the tire light was still on. I then went to do some grocery shopping and after coming out of the building I noticed a flat tire on my rear wheel passenger side. I am sitting in the parking lot as I am typing this with a flat tire. I have perishable food items in the car, waiting for tire assistance for over an hour. I spent almost $1k on 4 brand new Pirelli weatheractive tires and one of them are flat. I will never do business with this establishment ever again. I don't care if others patron this location, but this is the first and last time getting anything done here. The service has been horrible. I could have had an accident because of their negligence and incompetence. This is a serious issue that could have been life threatening. I am highly disappointed. I have patrons discount tires for many years and never had a bad experience until Feb 26 to Feb 27 2026. Tires were not delivered and now i have a flat tire on a brand new pirelli tire. Tire accidents have caused deaths and for the incompetence of these employees my life was in danger from the time I obtained my vehicle and drove off. This is highly unacceptable. Now I will have to find another business or location to have tire service on my vehicle. I take very good care of my vehicles and expect others to do the same. However, this was not the case with Chamblee discount tires location. This establishment should be trained better or get new staff. I wish I could give this location zero stars because that's what it deserves. This place deserves nothing but bad reviews. My life was hanging on the balance and was not taken into consideration at all. Lives have been lost due to negligence of tire service and this location is no better. You lost a customer. So, a few days ago, I took my mother's car up to Discount Tire because she had gotten a flat and we realized that both her front tires had ZERO tread. They fixed the tires in about an hour (I was a walk-in), and the price was $256. While I waited, I walked around the shopping center across the street and even made a quick stop at Lowe's for an umbrella. When I got a text from DT, I headed back and poked my head inside for about 30 seconds, they handed me my keys and a receipt with a thank you and sent me on my way. 3 days later... My mother was driving the car and a kid on a skateboard fell OF THE SIDEWALK INTO THE STREET IN FEONT OF HER, so she swerved to avoid hitting him and managed to put a tear into the wall of one of the brand new tires. ‍ Today, I brought the car back up and explained what had happened. One of the managers said he would do what he could to get me a good deal. I should mention that during the previous visit, they told me that I should really consider changing one of the back tires as well because it was in the yellow. There's a chart that shows a color-spectrum red=bad/Law says you MUST replace, yellow=not good/DT recommends replacing, green=OK-to-great/no need to replace. I chose to just do the 2 front tires and wait until I absolutely needed to change the 1 back tire (then I'd just go ahead and replace both rear tires at the same time), that way the car could be on a rotation cycle of replace 2, rotate 2, and it wouldn't be too expensive or throw everything out of whack with just 1 tire that didn't have as much tread as the others.... Anyway, since he did the inspection of the vehicle, he suggested (again) that I go ahead and replace that other tire as well. I said no thanks, but then he gave me a discount of about $110... So, I went ahead. The total cost of todays 2 tires? $147. The service was great, the in-out time was acceptable (they had a line both times I came in), and the discount was above and beyond. I had an 11:15 appointment, new set of tires were shipped from Tire Rack the day prior - I arrived late at 11:25 and was out of there at 11:58. The guys were super nice and thorough. They even wrapped the one tire I wanted to keep in plastic and put it in my trunk for me. I drove away with my new tires at 5:30. Guys were running around the whole time. They even checked in while I waited to let me know how soon it would be until the service was done. I had the unfortunate experience of a flat tire in the rain hours before picking up guests from the airport. I called discount tire, gave them my tire specifics(I was looking for a particular continental tire), they had it, and I was seen immediately. It was busy but they were able to get me in and out in an hour or so as promised by phone which I appreciated. All in I paid $200-250 for the tire and service. Naturally they tried to sell me on new tires and an insurance policy. I asked to see the terms of the insurance policy and they were unable to find them or locate them online. They quickly lost interest in selling to me when I asked specifics which was suspicious to me. Went here to get my tires checked based off of other reviews and they did not disappoint! I've had my Michelin tires for roughly 8 years (fantastic tires) and my light came on so I went to fill up all of my tires including the spare but the light was still on. I checked for nails and holes but didn't see any. So I thought I should take them in just to make sure. I went on a Friday morning and they were relatively busy but everyone was still promptly helped. My rep took me to my car to check all the tires and showed me that one of my tire's sensor was actually out so that's why the light stayed on. He also walked me through the age on all of my tires and recommended that I do get them replaced. He wasn't pushy at all, just gave me the facts and his recommendation. Because I swear by Michelin tires, I asked if he can give me a pricing for all 4 of them. He showed me a breakdown of one at a higher level and one standard and actually recommended the standard for more value in the long term. Did not try to upsell me on the more expensive ones. Once I approved, they had a technician install all 4 new tires in less than a hour and I'm a happy customer! Will certainly come back again for any future needs. read more
