I won't be going back there. I'm a single elderly female on SS. I am on a strict budget, and I ended up spending nearly $3500 on multiple "findings" to ensure my safety. What do I know? Maybe it was legit but the BIGGIST ISSUE I have with them is the 11% they charge for using a credit card. I couldn't have gone to the bank to get cash because my car was there overnight. Besides, I'd have to transfer from a non brick and mortar financial institution to Bank of America and that can't be done on short notice. They wouldn't take a check which was as good as cash (I had it in the bank) so I paid $341 for the 11% credit card (sur charge?) It should be illegal. I've used them in the past, but NEVER AGAIN. read more

After waiting 15 minutes before getting help, I finally got my tires and realized that I had been overcharged, but it was an emergency so .... While I was leaving, he insisted my car urgently needed an alignment and tried to charge me on the spot. I declined--and sure enough, the car drove perfectly fine afterward. Overall, the service felt more focused on profit than helping customers. Also, they won't charge you taxes if you pay cash or Zelle. If you use a card prepared to pay tax and card fee, Wouldn't recommend unless you come in prepared to stand your ground. read more

I brought my car in for rear struts. I knew that I needed front end work, but planned to wait on it. My mechanic Erick took pictures of the front end, and it was clear to me that the work was urgently needed. Erick called Carshield for me, and patiently dealt with them to get the entire cost of the front end repair taken care of saving me over 700.00. The original price I got from another mechanic for these same services was 2100.00. Erick found the oil leak that Honda just alluded to, and included the valve cover gasket, oil change, and cleaning the engine, and several other things for just over 1000.00 dollars, saving me about 1200.00 bucks. Garcia is the man! Glad to support a local shop with a hard working crew. My temperature gauge for the radiator was giving me problems. Called the shop at 6:30 on a Friday (closed) but Garcia answered. I brought my truck in when they opened the next morning and they diagnosed the problem in front of me. They provided fair pricing and great customer service. When they opened up my engine, Garcia texted me photos with updates and recommendations. Often times it can feel like mechanics are pushy to make a sale but Garcia gave me the impression that he truly wanted to do what was in the best interest of his customers. I got 4 tires and alignment done from them and the steering wheel is tilted to the right so I went back and they wouldn't put it back on the alignment saying it's the balance and idk what they did I get on the highway my whole car shaking at 60mph they are the worst people to go too I went to a different shop did another alignment and wheel balance my car is driving like a dream now read more

My husband called and asked the price for a tow from our house to another house and 23 miles away. He had called around a few places so had all details prepared. I had did a temp quote (incorrectly) so had him call. We got quoted an amount and told them we would think on it. They called him back asking about it a few times and pitched towing it to their business to fix. Explained won't be necessary I just couldn't move the car as far as it needed to go independently just needed the tow as I sold it. Went with them cause itv was the best price. Upon arrival it was asked if we could go up due to time to get to me and how much further they had to go. I barely have the quoted amount. But my husband accommodated the rest. No one was rude, he did say "if not it's okay" and the car did arrive that night. They let us know they do primarily auto repair work and this is not typical business so I'm not upset. The idea is to tow to their shop for them to work on it. We had also considered that option but the new owners were okay with just receiving the car. read more

They took advantage of me. They sold me the wrong size wheel and told me as long as it feels okay to drive that I would be okay. Two separate tire professionals informed me that was a lie. What they were really doing was trying to trick me into messing up my alignment so I would have to come back. HOWEVER, the piece of trash rim and tire they sold me was flat after three hours. They tricked me into coming in by claiming they had to "look at the rim to see if they had one." Once I get my wheel changed by a reputable business, I will be going back for a refund or I will sue for the amount I spent plus lost wages. They lied to me, took my money, and put me on the road with faulty equipment. If I do not receive a refund, I will devote my life to ruining this business. read more

One star is an understatement. They are all a joke and shallow people. If you value your car and money- DO NOT bother giving this place any of your time. Long story short- my car was there for over a week. They kept calling saying this and that needed fixing and eventually ran up a bill of $1,770. Finally, I get the okay to come pick up my car, mind you it was made to be that my car was pulled up and ready to go after payment. Upon arriving I am asked "so are you going to try and drive it out or you want to tow?" ????? Excuse me, TOW ?????? Come to find out- my car now overheats due to a thermostat issue (which I just replaced with a high quality MOPAR thermostat less than 5 months ago) and can only be driven in increments before having to cool. This was NEVER an issue before taking it here and they tried gaslighting me saying it always overheated. Again, ??????? NO. So, $1,770 to get my car back with service lights STILL ON and now additionally a BRAND NEW problem. I could continue to go on with details about this disappointing experience with this SHADY "business". Know that one thing they have skill in is a quick finesse. I left and came back and was told by Hispanic owner that my final price was $250. He proceeded to tell me compressor was bad. I later found out antifreeze was not even in car. He said because I left and came back he had to sit with car. I was gone for approximately 45 minutes after waiting at location for about an hour for job to not be completed. After I said he couldn't raise prices because I left when he had my number. He deflected and said he also did diagnostic to troubleshoot compressor issue and that's where extra amount was coming from. He proceeded to get into an argument with the owner until my wife stopped me. There is a reason the owner walks around with a gun on his hip. I originally came to do $1600 worth of work. When he quoted me at $2800 I declined and only accepted recharge. This owner knew I had money and jacked up price just to get extra. He proceeded to coach his wife on writing a proper receipt for work he did not do. I paid but lesson was learned here. Stay away from these people again. They will quote you one thing and price another price. Meanwhile you don't even know if your vehicle was looked at. How could you not add antifreeze to see if that's the issue? Specifically, a gentleman named Dario. Even though it was Saturday afternoon, 4:30 and they closed at 5:30, for the weekend. I ended up needing a new radiator. They stayed late, installed it, and had me back on the road by 6. I was alone, with my german shepherd, and had visions of sleeping in my car over Sunday, and waiting til Monday to get fixed. My husband went for a simple oil change and now our vehicle no longer works. We have 3 small children and they could car less they just want our money. Please don't come to this place don't waste your time and money, I took my car because my car had vibrations he first changed the front rotors and charged me 320$ it still had that vibration than he said it will be issue of tires he changed all 4 tires and charged me 700$ it still had that vibration when he was doing alignment he told me you need tie rods in and out he charged me 750$ for that but now my car is going more to the right if I hold the steering wheel to the left it will go straight if I leave the steering wheel straight it will go to the right these guys don't know anything please don't come here it's just waste of money and time. now I have to take them to the court read more

I came here twice. Once for my prius, and another for my friend's VW. For my prius, i had a car maintence light that prompted me to go the service center. It turned out i had one leaking tire beyond a patch repair and all my tires were really worn down. When I came to JG Tires, I didnt tell them I went to a dealership where a mechanic came from a backroom and said (1) I needed 4 new tires and (2) an alignment (total$900+). Yet, these guys spotted the same issues, showed me the problems, and provided me a quote for the same problems at a price that was less than 1/3 of the the dealership's total price. Second time, the VW had two leaks from two tires on the same side. They showed me the nails that were causing the leak. No sale gimmicks for new tires; they simply recommended cheap patches to get me on my way. Both jobs were done out in the open and completed in a reasonable time frame. They will try to charge you for something they messed up if you know nothing about cars.
