Total lifesavers when I got a flat and the car doesn't come with a spare. I was 60 miles from my destination, there was a lengthy detour in both directions because I-10 was closed due to an accident, it was late at night, and it was a AAA call. I was genuinely worried nobody would take the job in those circumstances. The responding flatbed operator, Wilfredo, was a total gem. He was excellent at his job and he took great care doing it. He was a cheerful companion despite the fact that we were out until almost 2 am. He even drove me a couple miles to my hotel from where we offloaded the car at a tire store. Had a blowout on I10. Brand new Jeep Wrangler - 400 miles on the tires. AAA chat feature was excellent AAA dispatched Classic Auto Transportation. The driver, Jose, contacted me and verified our location. He was on the road immediately and arrived in less than an hour. When Jose arrived he was super efficient, he removed the tire that had blown out and checked it for damage. He was unable to find anything wrong with the tire. We broke down 19 miles outside Indio and called AAA. They arranged for this company to come get our car. They came and took our car to a garage in Indio, which was fine. The driver was helpful and professional. But they charged us $25 a mile beyond the free 7 miles you get with basic AAA, so it cost us $300, which seemed really high. I had a tire separation today on a Sunday leading up to a holiday in the middle of nowhere of course. AAA told me everything nearby was closed but set me up with a tow truck anyway while I decided where to go and what to do. My flat bed driver Manuel, was incredibly kind, and helped me identify a local shop that was able to help me out immensely. If not for his local knowledge and helpful attitude my day would have been so much more stressful. I can't say enough about how good his customer service was and how much he helped me out. This company and especially the driver that helped us Manuel went above and beyond. We had gotten a flat tire driving home to Arizona from California and got stuck on the highway around 10:00 PM. I called AAA and maybe 10 minutes after I got a call from Manuel who was super kind and asked for my coordinates and let me know he'd be on his way after finishing up a job he was working on. He got there way before the AAA eta and was able to put on my spare tire. Got that squared away and then boom my battery ended up dying because my passenger and I had left the car on. Thankfully Manuel was still there and he was able to give us a jump and some advice about our spare. Thankfully he did because I didn't know we could only drive for a limited time on a spare and he advised us to get a replacement tire. I'm so glad he did because we ended up needing one as our spare ended up with a flat.. it was a wild 24 hours but it was wasn't a complete disaster thanks to Manuel. Tow thru AAA from Classic. Do not use this company for any reason!! This is 100^ true account of how I was treated and how unsafe the driver was.... I needed a tow and have AAA I was coming from the Parker Area I waited for 4 hours for the first tow to take me to Cheraco Summit planning to have my Jeep fixed there. After getting there I find out they can't work on it so I had to schedule another tow from AAA. He was supposed to get there at 3:15am he called me at 3:30 to tell me he was just getting in the shower and would be late. When he got there he quickly loaded my Jeep and we took off. He asked me about my trip and I told him not believing anything was up. What he was doing was looking for a way to make me pay him directly. After explaining my journey he tells me he is going to be on the phone for a minute(20 to be exact) the whole time he is driving with one hand one the wheel and talking and speeding going down a 9% grade hill with a 4 door Jeep that's lifted with 37" tires on it making his load top heavy to start with. He gets done tells me I have to pay him or he won't release my Jeep. I had already asked him to slow down and use both hands as I felt scared with his careless driving he refused and then calls the cops claiming I am threatening him.. I actually started video taping this whole thing and have all of this on video. The cops sided with me but still made me pay him $250 all of which AAA is refunding to me and if what they said is true he will no longer be employed by AAA. I hope that's true. In the event it's not beware this is a horrible company that will try and rip you off. Don't let your self be a victim I reported this to better business , now yelp and will add photo video to long but happy to share it privately to who ever wants to see it. It will be on you tube as well. This is a true account of how this company operates and my driver claimed to be owner so beware. Was involved in an accident. Driver from classic towing showed up and demanded payment, even though I had called through Triple AAA. When I tried explaining the situation to him, he cut me off and told me that I needed to shut up. Was trying to charge me over $150 even though I had roadside and had gone through the correct process of requesting a service. Driver was very unprofessional, combative and rude!! I will never use this towing company again and will let all of my family and friends know that they are scammers!!! 0/10 do not recommend!!
