We recently completed a kitchen remodel and our contractor arranged to have a cleaning service come in and clean up all the dust, floors, cabinets, etc. Two ladies came by yesterday afternoon and did a really professional job and worked constantly. They knew exactly what to use and how to clean areas and surfaces. Very courteous and efficient. We will be needing a cleaning service later on and this will be the first place we will ask about their rates and getting an estimate. Have been a good customer with Class Act over the last 2-3 years. I had a good team and when Covid hit things changed. They were at my house between 1:45 and 2:00 hours. Then when we get back in the swing - they changed their billing to minutes and raised their rates. So I get a new team that is visiting (talking) more dragging on the time and less work is being done. Obviously, that was ok for them. So I shut off one bedroom, my office no beds being changed and still in a little over 2 hours the team did not clean the areas open to them. Brought in a dirty mop (my previous team used vinegar and water (that I provide) with clean clothes on my white tile) which left dirt in the grout. I complained that our shower floor was not being cleaned at all - not even touched and requested a new team....and the text message from the owners were that "some of your requests are taking away from the efficiency and safety protocols. We wish you all the best and hope that you find someone that is a better fit for you". My take on this is shut up and you get what you get and pay the price. I provided flip flops for Patti (who was on the team for a long time) to use while cleaning the shower floors in our master bath - so she would not have wet shoes walking down the hallway to the front door on our "clean hardwood". I use non-toxic cleaners such as white vinegar and provided that to the ladies. I asked for a new team (Patti was not on this team...she is great and I would hire her for sure) and now they "fired me". I understand things are tight and the world is not what it used to be - but we earned our money by doing a good job...why should we except less... read more

I started emailing with Traci via yelp mid-February, looking for quotes. I kept shopping around, but after two other disastrous attempts to find a cleaning service at my new house, I came back. I decided to start small - we're still unpacking and I didn't want to overcommit to clearing boxes - so I asked to just have the bathrooms (three full, one half) done. Traci brought the ladies over that morning, right on time, and we talked briefly about what I wanted. The ladies did an excellent job, AND they were both very pleasant and helpful. They were finished in an hour and a half, and I was quite pleased with the work they had done. I certainly plan on scheduling more cleanings with this company. Note: I docked a star for not telling me in advance that they charge a two-hour minimum for your first cleaning. I feel that should have been included in our initial conversation about pricing, or even in any of the other emails that we exchanged. read more

I always THOUGHT I was a clean person. Two ladies show up at 9am ready to go. They worked their butts off for 4 hours in my house...I was home so I did witness them working hard. My house has NEVER looked so good! They are a little expensive for your first visit. when I spoke to the owner of the company to book my cleaning she explained that their employees are licensed, bonded and insured, and bring their own supplies, hence the higher cost. I am so very happy with the hard work these two ladies put into my home and I will call again since I am not as good of a housekeeper as I though :) read more

I have been using Class Act for regular bi-monthly cleanings for around 2 years now. I always feel so relaxed after the team has been to our house. Since the pandemic, I have been a little hesitant to allow anyone into our home because our elderly parents live with us. Class Act created a plan to minimize risk: we keep all the windows open, the team wears masks (as does anyone who is home), and we keep a strict schedule so the team is here during our parent's nap time. Considering they were able to schedule me in such short notice around 4th of July weekend, they did a wonderful job. If you need house cleaners class act is the best. We have been using their service for 6-8 months and they do an amazing job. My wife is super excited every time they clean our home. They even organized her vanity with all her makeup and creams. We love them and are so thankful that we don't have to clean our home. My wife has back issues and we both work very long hours so we don't have time to clean. This is the best house cleaning service in the Bay Area. We highly recommend them. The team did an amazing job at cleaning a home that had sat empty for nearly 8 years. I'm so impressed. I had a service for years, and I thought it was ok. Two weeks after a service with my last company, I asked class act to come. They had to do an extensive deep clean because the previous company had missed a lot. I never realized my house could be so clean. They are extremely professional, thorough and very friendly. Very hard workers. They got stains out of my son's toilet that the other service either never tried, or couldn't. I didn't have to ask them to do anything in particular or pay special attention to anything. They know what they're doing. Tracy and Angela are on top of it too! Great communication and again, professional. I feel totally comfortable leaving their ladies in my house when I'm not there, especially since they're licensed, bonded and insured. Also, I'm not an idiot and I don't leave anything valuable laying around. A lot of people don't take that into consideration, and maybe balk at the slightly added expense. It's important to know that not only are my household items covered, but if one of the ladies gets hurt I don't need to contact my own homeowners insurance. The ladies who come are so sweet. I have used Class Act Housekeeping for over 12 years. Owner Tracy is on top of her game. Her staff is honest, always professional, respectful of my home, pleasant to speak with and very skilled. Two or three staff members show up on time and get straight to work. Like most women, I have my pet peeves . . . window sills and base boards. Tracy's staff gladly takes care of these small things that are important to me. They bring and use their own supplies and equipment. Such an amazing experience all the way around. We put our house on the market and I needed someone to clean from top to bottom, although I had been deep cleaning for a week, knowing that we were getting ready to sell. Class Act did it! We had just had the carpets cleaned the day before (bad timing, I know!), and I asked the ladies to put on booties when they walked on the carpet, and they did every time. They literally cleaned from top to bottom of every room, starting with the ceilings, ceiling fans, blinds, vacuumed upholstery, dusted baseboards and washed floors with no streaks (tile and hardwood). My stainless stovetop looked as clean as the day I moved in and the house was sparkling! They were very sweet, efficient, and I liked that they provided all supplies and took everything with them when they left, so I wasn't left putting cleaning products away and washing towels and washcloths.
