Since it's on my tongue, I have to use my medical insurance instead of my dental and this was one of the offices in the area that accepted it. I was originally scheduled with a periodontist out in Manassas and had a bad experience that I decided to call this office. I got an appointment scheduled fairly soon (within a week) and saw Dr. Pham. I was prepared to get a biopsy since that's what the periodontist at the other place said. I'm so grateful to have scheduled here because Dr. Pham gave me a better second opinion that it was just my tastebuds and "would be a waste" to get a biopsy done. Not only did he save me from having a week-long recovery that was unnecessary, I appreciated his honesty.
