All of my children have been nothing but loved and taken care of every minute of every single day. This place is family. It's home outside of home. I see these wonderful ladies at the front every single morning and evening ready to help in anyway they can! Or just smile at you while you come through the door. My husband and I were brand new to the area and I can truthfully say, we found family within this Kindercare. Salmon creek Kindercare is by far the BEST daycare my children could receive. Not only have my children learned so much from these wonderful teachers but they also are so structured which is by far the best. I tried calling and going there and I also get an answer where someone is going to call me back. I mean be up front about kids you can't take instead having a parent wondering around hoping their kids will go there, when they could have spend that time looking for elsewhere. People there's looks young maybe in their twenties. Probably one person there might be older than 50's. Maybe they don't know the business or respect. I wouldn't want someone to do that to me. My children always tell me they have fun. Yesterday I attended their first parent Meet and Greet and I feel even better on how much I spend to keep my children there. I learned how each class curriculum is set up to assist them to get ready for kindergarten. So by the time my older son is ready to start kindergarten, his daycare has ready him to know the alphabet, his numbers, write his name, know the days of the week, etc. I highly recommend them.

At the Devine location, Wee Care allowed an irate…read moreand unstable father who was upset about a bead being removed from his child's hair to come into the same classroom as our daughter, after he asked for our daughter by first name and said he would "whoop some kids' asses." Wee Care then gave this unstable man access to our daughter's FULL LEGAL NAME, so he can now find our address with a simple google search. Wee Care's failures are plenty and its response to this situation was appauling: (1) Wee Care failed to inform us of the incident; instead, they told parents of other unrelated children (who were mortified and thankfully told us); (2) Wee Care failed to provide us with an incident report; (3) Wee Care failed to establish policies or procedures to handle this sort of situation; (4) Wee Care failed to immediately report the incident to DSHS as required by regulation, claiming their need to first perform in internal investigation; (5) Wee Care failed to call the police after a threat of harm was made in a daycare facility; (6) Wee Care failed to seek a restraining order against this man; and (7) Wee Care even failed to immediately tell this unstable father that he could not return to the daycare. When we requested the name of this father so we could seek a restraining order against him, Wee Care refused to provide it to us. To recap, Wee Care gave an angry and unstable man all of the information he needed to find and harm our daughter, but refused to simply provide us this man's name so we could seek legal protection from him. The executive director of Wee Care, Sara Hegnes, refused to speak with us despite several requests. It was obvious that Wee Care realized they had violated numerous regulations and decided to close ranks and protect themselves, rather than doing everything they could to protect our daughter. Our opinion is that the management of Wee Care does not have your child's best interests in mind, and your child is not safe there. We can only hope that others see this post and don't subject their children to the dangers created by Wee Care. ** We want to be very clear that our concerns are with Wee Care management. The teachers at Wee Care are saints and one, in particular, put her body between our daughter and this unstable father, and talked him down. We are forever grateful to her.

We toured Goddard, Kiddie Academy, other Kindercare locations trying to find the best fit for our 2…read moreyear old son. This is his first time in daycare and I was so concerned about him adapting to a new environment. He is starting his 3rd week and he is getting more comfortable each day. He is speech delayed and I was worried about his interactions with his teachers. Luckily he's built a strong bond with them all and especially Miss Gwen and Miss MJ. We've already had him come home with several art projects and so many pictures of him to look at throughout the day. I have zero concerns about his safety and well being here. I really appreciate that Megan (the center director) is extremely responsive via email and the app. Any little question or concern is immediately addressed. And all the teachers are so kind and willing to talk about my son's day at pick up. So far, I am thrilled about this daycare experience and am looking forward to seeing my son's continued growth!

They have a great communication system and provide a clean and safe environment for all children. They truly want each child to be successful. The Goddard School in Salmon Creek is amazing. The teachers helped my little guy break out of his…read moreshyness and learn how to make friends. He loves going to school, and asks to stay. The team is always responsive to our requests and needs and always, always puts well well being of kids first. Teachers are valued, respected, and a collaborative part of the leadership team. And, it shows. They're comfortable bring up ideas or concerns, and are greeted with responsiveness. This is the cleanest childcare facility I've ever seen in my life. This is also the only place that I trust my child to go during the pandemic. they already cleaned and sanitized more than any place I've ever seen. Now that's even amplified. Not only does the whole staff love my little boy, and he loves them... Not only have they helped him grow socially and emotionally... Not only does he love going to school everyday... Not only is it's a collaborative team where teachers are actually valued, respected, and listened to... But. I will never forget the night my mother-in-law passed suddenly. Because of the team's responsiveness, I never worried about if I would be able to get ahold of him during a constantly changing situation. It's not only that. I actually felt comfort knowing that I could reach out to them at any point, get a response, and that response would be to fully support my child and my family in any way possible. We primarily have worked with Ms. Kristina, Ms. Gaby and Ms. Journey. Seeing that this was a new experience for us, there were a lot of reservations I had about this new chapter; as with any parent, I was scared that they would not receive that attention they need, the level of care, etc. The teachers at Lakeshore Learning Center quickly put my anxiety at ease after seeing how they took my children under their wing, looked after and genuinely cared about their growth and wellbeing. Each teacher has a warmth to them which makes it very clear that they are there for your kids as both a teacher and friend. I was/am impressed by their structured daily routine and how they keep the children engaged with art, science, dance, song, sensory, etc. The center itself is clean, well organized and operated with kind people. Also, I cannot say enough about how pre-K at Lakeshore really provides the essential tools for Kindergarten readiness. We are thankful and blessed to be attending Lakeshore Learning Center.
