The Clark County Fair and Rodeo is a fantastic county fair out in the middle of nowhere. You drive from Vegas like you are going towards Salt Lake City which means leaving Nevada for Arizona by way of Mesquite. Just when you are out in the desert, before Mesquite, you turn off toward Logandale and in just a few miles you find parking for the county fair. Once you enter the gates to the fair you feel transported to someplace else. It is green and has shade trees everywhere. Locals are pulling out their camping chairs and claiming their spots underneath a canopy of old trees. It seems like a giant family picnic or reunion. Off to the left is a building hosting artwork, photography, and a ton of crafts. There is a little shop inside with inexpensively priced snacks and drinks. There was a face painter on the way out of that building as you work your way to the large entertainment building with a terrific stage and seating area. We saw illusionists, a hypnotist, bands, and a drumming duo - show after show after show. Then back outside we saw strolling jugglers, a baseball comedy fire show, a one-man band, and many vendors. Beyond the myriads of vendors was a building full of more vendors including one selling amazing fudge. Back up towards the office we saw another stage with a lot of dancers. Then there were some barns and other buildings working our way back around the fairgrounds. Beyond that was the carnival full of great rides and games and vendors from Brown's Amusements. We spent the entire day there and had so much fun. When we told my dad about it, he insisted on going next year. So, we have plans to visit him in Vegas and take him to the 2026 Clark County Fair and Rodeo. read more

I have never been to the Clark County Fair before and wow, what amazing show! The fairgrounds were so green and shady, I saw families bring their chairs and enjoy the day together. Danny Brown had a ton of rides for all ages. There was a ton of entertainment. I loved the little store inside the first building, they had delicious homemade treats to eat and take home. There was so much entertainment to watch and enjoy. There was a great food row, and so many vendors to visit. I will enjoy this fair for years to come! read more

2025 review- Super Hot, dusty, porta potties, germs, exhausting lol. Sums it up. Long lines for rides and no where for parents to sit. Not like I am going on these crazy rides. So, standing around in the heat waiting around not fun. Lack of animals. Where all the animals? There was one horse and one area of animals which was disappointing as we were expecting at least a live cow or something. They had baby pigs which were pretty cool and some goats. read more

Now, I may be a little biased because I go to the clark county fair and rodeo every year in April. It is one of my favorite events to attend. I am in a wheelchair, so I do not do any of the rides. I mainly go to see the animals and the rodeo at the end of the day. For the most part, it is very wheelchair accessible. It is a little annoying to have the bumps over power cord for the wheelchairs, but I do understand it's for safety and to prevent the cords from coming unplugged or harming anybody. It is in the middle of April and begins to get hot in the area usually 80-95F in the day and in the 70s at night. It can be windy and the good portion of the fairgrounds is dirt. Do with that information, as you will, but there is a significant area of grass and trees to provide shade. I love the fine arts building because of all the wonderful paintings and drawings plus they have the most delicious rice krispie, treats a different versions and jams. The little barn area with the animal is extremely cute. They're usually cows, pigs, goats, horses and a few other animals, some of them even let you pet them. There are numerous vendors and most of them are pretty friendly. Shout out to Churchill Jerky (best beef jerky in my opinion) and DC concessions who make the best funnel cake, fries, and fish. The owners of both are always on my MUST say hi to list. Now, the real reason I go is the rodeo at the end of the day. The accessible seating is right in the front and it almost makes you feel like you're in the arena with all the horses, calves, and riders. The prices are decent. For the first day (Wednesday) for 2 wheelchair seats at the Rodeo and fair entry it's $50. Food prices are a little excessive, but what do you expect for a fair. We had a great Family time and meet up with good friends. Best suggestion it to take ice check with blankets and some food. I was told this items were not allowed when I messages them, but everyone had wagons full. The food court is expensive but usual for a fair or carnival. Pre buying tickets with carnival ride band saves you about 15. Kids enjoy the carnival and us adults enjoyed the livestock. No chickens this year and we missed seeing them (bird flu) read more

Well bought tickets online get to the fair after driving 4 hours with 5 kids ranging from 1 to 8 yoa just to be told it was a scam and didn't offer us a discount nothing had to pay full price and treated us like we were crooks trying to get free tickets. How were we supposed to know which website was legit. We live 4 hours away. How could we have known. Thoughtout all the years my parents had taken us I thought my daughter would enjoying a experience like this with it being her first time but nope. So thanks to the lady in the office for making my daughter's first time and experience not a very good experience. Sadly the fair has really scaled back over the years. There was a time when walking through the crafts, vendors, and foods would give you at least a couple hours of fun perusing. This year it appears many vendors have skipped the fair. Still a great deal of food and what appears to be a good selection of rides. We arrived early walked around ate and left before the very long line of cars began to back up from the highway to the main road turn off. I think this will be a one visit and done event for this year. Just not enough going on inside to make a second trip worth the drive. I hope they can grow again and really make it a worthwhile event again. read more

Man, what an awesome experience! If you want to get out of Vegas for a little bit and enjoy a fun fair with plenty of things to do, then please make the hour drive out here and enjoy. They have everything from food, rides, animals and shows. (And games, IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT) Some Can say it's a bit pricy for the food and for the rides, but how often do you really come out and do something like this. As far as the carnival games, I will say it is WAY too expensive... $5 for a basketball shot, $5 for a duck fishing game. $5 to spray water. Yikes, I have 4 boys! That's $20 a game. I believe that for what you pay to get in and food and everything else, that the games can be a bit cheaper. Other than that, it's a great time here. If you have kids it will all be worth it on the drive home when all they can talk about is how crazy the rides were, which one was the best and how much fun they had... then they fall asleep.! This wasn't that great of a fair for the prices they charged. Entrance tickets were $18.00. Games were about $10 a pop. Food between $10-15 a serving (one thing). The fair was in Logandale, NV, about an hour from Vegas. Parking was free, but a pretty packed lot. The animals were nice, but not many of them. Just a really small fair without much to do without spending a lot of money on games and/or rides and the games/rides were nothing special. If you live near Logandale, it's something different to do, but I wouldn't drive from Vegas to check it out. I have been to better fairs with better parking, better prices, better food variety, and better shows. It's not the fair experience to have if it's your first time at a fair. Having been to many fairs growing up, I'd pass on going to this one again as it didn't meet the standards other fairs set. If you are looking for elephant ears - they didn't have them! Was charged twice by the ticket booth guys, I asked for two fast passes, paid for two of them, and then was told the wrist bands weren't the fast passes. I went back and they told me I was wrong, they charged me AGAIN for it, and got pissy when I was irritated, they barely spoke English and it just ruined the mood for the whole day read more

Fun times had by one and all! I grew up in Texas, state fairs were and still are a big deal. We'd get free tickets and day off from school so we could go! As an young adult, I'd volunteer so I could go for free. So, from the moment I hear the first advertisements, I'm itching to go. We drove down early Saturday morning, surprised by the heavy traffic and the crowds. Lot's of families, most with ice coolers, blankets and chairs, all trying to get near the shade! Had to do the turkey leg! Hugh, juicey hard to eat. Loved the beer barn, four dollar drafts and the pig races. My husband loves the animal barns and we always spend time looking at them! I love the pavillion with all the items on show, seeing the kids entries for best of show, amazes me! The stuff is always creative. Not as big as Texas, ( nothing ever is) but it's a good day at the fair! read more

After 11 years in Vegas, we finally attended the Clark County Fair. All things considered, it was a great time; plant to spend the day there. The facts first: We purchased tickets online; $18 for entry only, $45 for entry and all-day ride pass (wristband), cost is a little more at the gate. Parking is free. This is important and they don't tell you this: To get your wristband, you must take the printed copy of your online ticket to the ticket booth after you get scanned at the gate. Plan to get there early! The gates opened at 10am on Saturday. We got there at 10:30 and the car line getting into the parking lot was about a mile long, but it moved quickly - we were in the lot in about 10-12 minutes. When we left at 3pm, the car line went the entire 5 miles all the way to I15 and then more than 1/2 mile past the off-ramp!!! GET THERE EARLY!!! Now to the fun stuff! There are plenty of attractions to keep you entertained and fed. Big big variety of carnival rides for all ages and a big "carney alley" of prize games, lots and lots of games and prizes. The games aren't included with the wristband but instead are paid for with "tokens" that you purchase when you get your wristband at the ticket booth. Again...get there early to avoid long lines at the ticket booths!! (Who wants to spend the day waiting in line?). We rode all the larger rides with little or no waiting. Attendants were polite and helpful. Everything was well laid out with plenty of room for crowds to get around. Prepare to walk a lot. Some people brought chairs and blankets, but coolers are not allowed. The food trucks and vendors were in two general areas, some near the rides and games, and more near the vendor booths and animal related attractions. I had a decent burger, but later regretted not seeing the other food vendors first. Lots of choices and prices weren't too bad. All the great fair food you would expect; Italian sausages, turkey legs, French fries, Philly cheesteaks, funnel cakes, Carmel apples, cotton candy, etc.. Beer stands were few but enough. Lots of great tasty choices and all freshly made to order. Many many animal attractions, from a team of traveling California Seals! (YES I SAID SEALS!), to the highly entertaining racing piggies, a great toy poodle act, and all the domesticated farm animals from the 4H folks - and some fantastic looking animals! We saw the most beautiful roosters! And then there is The Rodeo. Fast-paced but also a good time to put your feet up for a few minutes and enjoy the cowboys and cowgirls while you relax with a beer. Don't forget the sunscreen. There was also an auction going on while we were there. I imagine some of the award winners getting sold off. We ventured through a few of the vendor booths and admired all the hand-crafted wares. Most were not our taste but entertaining nonetheless and amazing to see some of the talent that people have. We will be going back next year for sure, albeit a bit better prepared. Plan to spend $100 per person (minimum) for tickets, rides, games, and food. A really great time for family fun of all ages, just get there early or plan on waiting in 2 lines: 1st to get into the fair-grounds, 2nd to get your wristband or tickets and the Ticket Booth. Was super excited to get to the fair again. Disappointed. Due to our work load and the fact that the fair wasn't scheduled during our Spring Break this year we could only go on Saturday. Never again. I will go after school or not at all but never again on a weekend. It was really crowded and we didn't get to enjoy the shows as much due to the amount of people. I pre-paid this year for tickets with Carnival passes. When I got there I asked the front ticket team how we got our pre-paid Carnival wristbands and they told me to go to the rides, which made no sense. I went to guest services and the not so friendly people there told me to go to the ticket booth to get the bands. I asked where the ticket booth was and they pointed in a general direction, thanks guys. So much help, sorry to bother you. So we went to the ticket booth which was not was not easy to find and the lines were like 60 people deep at each booth. I had hot, hungry kids so we went to get food and then came back 3 more times. Every time it was a disaster, crowded with way too many people. We started to wait in line at one point but I had a stroller and the dirt and rocks were difficult to maneuver so i kept getting cut off. I gave up and unfortunately we wasted money on ride bands we never got to use. We still managed to have fun regardless, my kids had can have a blast just running around on the lawn. We enjoyed the food we purchased and loved the Mutton Bustin. The kid area needs more shows and maybe one that is a bit more musical. I wish that the Carnival was more organized with more ticket booths or a booth that was separate for pre-purchased wrist bands. I think we may be back next year...maybe. But I will never do the pre-purchase option again. read more

April~I have loved the fair since I was a kid. Clark County fair is huge with lots to do. I love the pig races, exhibits, farm animals, everything! Love it all. This year I finally entered 3 cakes. I've always wanted to enter something at the fair. I took home 9 ribbons total. Happy girl. I also worked one day at the fair. That was fun! I love to talk. There was plenty of people to talk to. Wish this was in Las Vegas! The drive up here and back at night can get so backed up. If you can stay in Overton or Mesquite, it's much better, especially if you don't have to drive home after a long day and evening at the fair. Buy your tickets online before the fair opens and save yourself some money! The food is great, good variety! The games are a rip off, you'll spend about $5.00 per game, and your kid will get a plastic whistle or plastic junk. The rides are good, but there aren't that many of them. It's more like carnival size. The Art & Horticulture Barn is spectacular! The animal exhibits are well kept and interesting. The 4-H Clubs in Las Vegas put a lot of hard work into learning about, caring for, and selling their market animals! The fair is a must for us every year! If you haven't been here before you really should check it out! One more thing, THE RODEO ROCKS! It's fast paced and the announcer and Rodeo Clown do a terrific job of entertaining the whole crowd! Beer is cheaper here than in some casinos, and The Rotary Club operates some of the booths. read more

Wow.. it's huge!! Lived in Las Vegas for 7 years and never heard of this Fair, until a few days before a friend recommended we check it out.. We headed out to Logandale (an hour drive), started late in the evening, we got to the fair at 8:30pm (closes 12 midnight). It was a dark drive, but they had signs, roadblocks, and cops to kinda guide you into town. As we got in, we were surprised and excited to see how huge and spacious the fairgrounds were. The carnival rides had a lot of action, there were long lines still but everyone was enjoying themselves. Lots of games too, but some were quite pricey ($20 for 3 balls.. hmm). We checked out the barn that had all kinds of chickens and sorts.. kids had a blast admiring the different animals. And the food.. they were everywhere, great atmosphere, lots of food varieties, and seating, it was crowded but exciting. We didn't watch any of the rodeo show since we arrived so late, in fact we missed out a lot, but we still had a great time. Next year I definitely want to plan to stay the entire day, and looks like if you plan early they offer earlybird prices for all the venues. read more

Went on Friday, paid $40 ea person to get into the Fair and Carnival. I could have just paid the $12 to get into the Fair and it wouldn't have mattered. There's no wristband, so how do they know who paid $12 and who paid $40? So I'm figuring the $40 ea person I paid for was rides, nope....you still needed tokens ($1 ea.) to get on any ride or attraction and it wasn't just $1, the little Ferris wheel was 3 tokens ea. person. Complete ripoff, this "fair" keeps the "carney" stigma alive and well. Most of the carnival people were in a bad mood and just glared at the patrons. The lemonade was watered down to the point of being very lightly lemon scented water. I'll try the Lincoln County fair some year or out of state fairs but the Clark County fair is dead to me. read more

I love it here! I've been coming to the Logandale Fair since I was a baby. The games are kinda pricey & pretty lame (but what do you REALLY expect from a pack-n-go carnival?) The food is good-tons of variety, and there's often a really good selection of beer too. The rides are fun too. They have actual rides that aren't just for little kids. Also, the rodeo is really fun to watch! So is the animal judging. Make sure to buy your tickets online to save yourself some money and keep in mind that parking is absolutely insane. And if you're coming from Vegas, prepare yourself for a bit of a drive. From my house, it's about an hour & 15 mins. read more

I have been going to the fair since I was a child. I love the CCFR - great fun and lots to do for the whole family!

This was so so much fun!! I can't wait to go back next year and actually attend the rodeo . Found out about this fair due to a science project my daughters school participated in and was being showcased. We decided to take the family to check it out .. It's so worth the drive. They have delicious food, awesome animal sections with 4-H crafts & animals . Plus interactive sections where you can do catch and release fishing, learn conservation , and also boat safety and much much more .. They also have rides and games but due to having two kids in the age range that would break my bank we opted to steer clear of there . They had reasonably priced water and soda for sale . Many places are there selling stuff too. It does cost to enter the fair but if you are the type who enjoys going for the day and checking out all the hard work the 4-H kids put in while enjoying yummy food .. Give it a go!!! Just remember to bring cash and check out the rodeo schedule too read more
