Now, I may be a little biased because I go to the clark county fair and rodeo every year in April. It is one of my favorite events to attend. I am in a wheelchair, so I do not do any of the rides. I mainly go to see the animals and the rodeo at the end of the day. For the most part, it is very wheelchair accessible. It is a little annoying to have the bumps over power cord for the wheelchairs, but I do understand it's for safety and to prevent the cords from coming unplugged or harming anybody. It is in the middle of April and begins to get hot in the area usually 80-95F in the day and in the 70s at night. It can be windy and the good portion of the fairgrounds is dirt. Do with that information, as you will, but there is a significant area of grass and trees to provide shade. I love the fine arts building because of all the wonderful paintings and drawings plus they have the most delicious rice krispie, treats a different versions and jams. The little barn area with the animal is extremely cute. They're usually cows, pigs, goats, horses and a few other animals, some of them even let you pet them. There are numerous vendors and most of them are pretty friendly. Shout out to Churchill Jerky (best beef jerky in my opinion) and DC concessions who make the best funnel cake, fries, and fish. The owners of both are always on my MUST say hi to list. Now, the real reason I go is the rodeo at the end of the day. The accessible seating is right in the front and it almost makes you feel like you're in the arena with all the horses, calves, and riders. The prices are decent. For the first day (Wednesday) for 2 wheelchair seats at the Rodeo and fair entry it's $50. Food prices are a little excessive, but what do you expect for a fair. It is my favorite place every april. And as long as my health allows it, I will always be here. Also, the people who run the fairgrounds and their FB page are pretty amazing

Man, what an awesome experience! If you want to get out of Vegas for a little bit and enjoy a fun fair with plenty of things to do, then please make the hour drive out here and enjoy. They have everything from food, rides, animals and shows. (And games, IF YOU CAN AFFORD IT) Some Can say it's a bit pricy for the food and for the rides, but how often do you really come out and do something like this. As far as the carnival games, I will say it is WAY too expensive... $5 for a basketball shot, $5 for a duck fishing game. $5 to spray water. Yikes, I have 4 boys! That's $20 a game. I believe that for what you pay to get in and food and everything else, that the games can be a bit cheaper. Other than that, it's a great time here. If you have kids it will all be worth it on the drive home when all they can talk about is how crazy the rides were, which one was the best and how much fun they had... then they fall asleep.! Clark county fair is a great experience!

This wasn't that great of a fair for the prices they charged. Entrance tickets were $18.00. Games were about $10 a pop. Food between $10-15 a serving (one thing). The fair was in Logandale, NV, about an hour from Vegas. Parking was free, but a pretty packed lot. The animals were nice, but not many of them. Just a really small fair without much to do without spending a lot of money on games and/or rides and the games/rides were nothing special. If you live near Logandale, it's something different to do, but I wouldn't drive from Vegas to check it out. I have been to better fairs with better parking, better prices, better food variety, and better shows. It's not the fair experience to have if it's your first time at a fair. Having been to many fairs growing up, I'd pass on going to this one again as it didn't meet the standards other fairs set. If you are looking for elephant ears - they didn't have them! A fair without elephant ears, a real bummer!

Fun times had by one and all! I grew up in Texas, state fairs were and still are a big deal. We'd get free tickets and day off from school so we could go! As an young adult, I'd volunteer so I could go for free. So, from the moment I hear the first advertisements, I'm itching to go. We drove down early Saturday morning, surprised by the heavy traffic and the crowds. Lot's of families, most with ice coolers, blankets and chairs, all trying to get near the shade! Had to do the turkey leg! Hugh, juicey hard to eat. Loved the beer barn, four dollar drafts and the pig races. My husband loves the animal barns and we always spend time looking at them! I love the pavillion with all the items on show, seeing the kids entries for best of show, amazes me! The stuff is always creative. Not as big as Texas, ( nothing ever is) but it's a good day at the fair!

SUPER long lines at the ticket booths. It was like this literally all day. They need more booths or better organization.

Was super excited to get to the fair again. Disappointed. Due to our work load and the fact that the fair wasn't scheduled during our Spring Break this year we could only go on Saturday. Never again. I will go after school or not at all but never again on a weekend. It was really crowded and we didn't get to enjoy the shows as much due to the amount of people. I pre-paid this year for tickets with Carnival passes. When I got there I asked the front ticket team how we got our pre-paid Carnival wristbands and they told me to go to the rides, which made no sense. I went to guest services and the not so friendly people there told me to go to the ticket booth to get the bands. I asked where the ticket booth was and they pointed in a general direction, thanks guys. So much help, sorry to bother you. So we went to the ticket booth which was not was not easy to find and the lines were like 60 people deep at each booth. I had hot, hungry kids so we went to get food and then came back 3 more times. Every time it was a disaster, crowded with way too many people. We started to wait in line at one point but I had a stroller and the dirt and rocks were difficult to maneuver so i kept getting cut off. I gave up and unfortunately we wasted money on ride bands we never got to use. We still managed to have fun regardless, my kids had can have a blast just running around on the lawn. We enjoyed the food we purchased and loved the Mutton Bustin. The kid area needs more shows and maybe one that is a bit more musical. I wish that the Carnival was more organized with more ticket booths or a booth that was separate for pre-purchased wrist bands. I think we may be back next year...maybe. But I will never do the pre-purchase option again.

April~I have loved the fair since I was a kid. Clark County fair is huge with lots to do. I love the pig races, exhibits, farm animals, everything! Love it all. This year I finally entered 3 cakes. I've always wanted to enter something at the fair. I took home 9 ribbons total. Happy girl. I also worked one day at the fair. That was fun! I love to talk. There was plenty of people to talk to. I will definitely go back every year. Worth the hour long drive to get there!

So much fun! The Rodeo rocks! Make sure you stop by the 4-H Animal Barn. Don't miss the Horticulture & Arts Barn!

Wish this was in Las Vegas! The drive up here and back at night can get so backed up. If you can stay in Overton or Mesquite, it's much better, especially if you don't have to drive home after a long day and evening at the fair. Buy your tickets online before the fair opens and save yourself some money! The food is great, good variety! The games are a rip off, you'll spend about $5.00 per game, and your kid will get a plastic whistle or plastic junk. The rides are good, but there aren't that many of them. It's more like carnival size. The Art & Horticulture Barn is spectacular! The animal exhibits are well kept and interesting. The 4-H Clubs in Las Vegas put a lot of hard work into learning about, caring for, and selling their market animals! The fair is a must for us every year! If you haven't been here before you really should check it out! One more thing, THE RODEO ROCKS! It's fast paced and the announcer and Rodeo Clown do a terrific job of entertaining the whole crowd! Beer is cheaper here than in some casinos, and The Rotary Club operates some of the booths.

Huge! Basket of curly fries with chili and cheese $9

Wow.. it's huge!! Lived in Las Vegas for 7 years and never heard of this Fair, until a few days before a friend recommended we check it out.. We headed out to Logandale (an hour drive), started late in the evening, we got to the fair at 8:30pm (closes 12 midnight). It was a dark drive, but they had signs, roadblocks, and cops to kinda guide you into town. As we got in, we were surprised and excited to see how huge and spacious the fairgrounds were. The carnival rides had a lot of action, there were long lines still but everyone was enjoying themselves. Lots of games too, but some were quite pricey ($20 for 3 balls.. hmm). We checked out the barn that had all kinds of chickens and sorts.. kids had a blast admiring the different animals. And the food.. they were everywhere, great atmosphere, lots of food varieties, and seating, it was crowded but exciting. We didn't watch any of the rodeo show since we arrived so late, in fact we missed out a lot, but we still had a great time. Next year I definitely want to plan to stay the entire day, and looks like if you plan early they offer earlybird prices for all the venues.

On October…read more3, 2025, after arriving at the MGM Grand shuttle pickup location, RISE staff informed guests that the Sky Lantern Launch had been cancelled due to weather. Because the lantern launch was the main experience we purchased tickets for, staff instructed us to contact RISE by email to request a refund. Based on this instruction, we did not board the shuttle transportation, did not attend the festival, and our tickets were never scanned or used. I contacted RISE that same day as directed. Over the following months, I sent multiple follow-up emails but received only generic responses asking me to "have patience." After more than five months of repeated follow-ups, RISE finally responded on March 9, 2026--only after another email from me--denying my request and citing a "no refunds" policy. Being told to request a refund, then strung along for months before being denied with no real explanation, is incredibly misleading and reflects extremely poor customer service. This was not a small expense -- we traveled internationally for this event -- and the way this was handled is unacceptable. This was a very expensive and disappointing lesson. I would strongly caution anyone from trusting this event.

In the first part of the day a DJ is performing in a small central booth. Most attendees were vibing, having drinks, and chilling. Once the sun sets everyone does the lantern release which was honestly magical. Then the bands start performing on the main stage. After the last act there is a fireworks show that is probably the most aesthetically pleasing fireworks display I've seen. This is a smaller festival that is not strictly music focused so there was quite a bit of down time in the day in between events. For example, after the first act performed on the main stage the crowd hung out for 30 minutes while the crew swapped out instruments and equipment for the second artist. We paid extra for the first premium level (Gold) which got us access to an area with couches, tents, and tables. This was well worth the price because otherwise there would be nowhere to sit other than the sandy desert. The desert gets quite cold at night and this event is entirely outside with no indoor areas so if you plan to stay for the headliners dress warmly! We drove to and from the festival which I highly recommend. The "venue" is a good 35 minutes outside of Las Vegas even when there's no traffic. To be clear, this event takes place in the middle of the desert where there are no buildings, amenities, towns, or services of any kind other than what the event staff build. There is limited or no cell service in the desert and Uber/Lyft don't serve the venue. The event ended at midnight and I was grateful not to have to wait on a shuttle at the end of a long day.

There is a small parking lot in front and some street parking around the venue. If you get there early, you can snag a spot there in front. We scored one. Just inside the front doors is a small lobby with a bar that serves a few options for beer, wine, mixed drinks, sodas, and water, along with a few snack options. The bartender was friendly and took care of us quickly. The venue is through another set of doors and seats about 200-250 people. With that size, there isn't a bad seat in the house. We were in the back row of seats and were still only about 100 feet from the stage, if that. There is also a section of bleacher-type seating in the very back. The sound and lighting system were excellent. There is also a room in the back that they use for meet and greets. Again, small bar serving drinks. They also had a charcuterie table set up. I don't know if that was specific to the artist performing that night or a typical offering, but the spread was very nice, offering decorative cups with a small variety of meats and cheeses, along with salted caramel chocolate. There were also cake pops offered. Overall, this is a great venue. I would recommend looking into the shows they have to offer and come check one out!
