Our only complaint, and the reason I didn't give 5 stars was the service was SO SLOW. We waited about 20 minutes to get seated, totally understandable, but once we were seated it was about 15 minutes before we saw our waitress, then another 20 minutes before they brought our drinks(we ordered food the same time we ordered drinks). Once food came we saw her one time in the middle and then didn't see her again for another 30 minutes. We ordered desserts, waited about 15 minutes for those and didn't get one of our desserts delivered. So it was a rough service experience. The food was really good and the outside patio was great seating! We will come back but hopefully have better service!

My husband thinks the steak (locally raised) is one of the best steaks he's ever had. He also enjoyed their burgers. The tamarind glazed salmon and risotto dish, salads and mashed potatoes were my favorite, but truly, everything brought to the table was high-quality and delicious. Including the dessert (key lime pie and crème brûlée). Our server, Whitney, was wonderful. She is friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable about the menu and potential adjustments (made recommendations that accommodated my gluten-free diet). She was a real joy and made the dining experience all the more special. We will definitely be back!

There's always something going on at Casablanca. Whether it's adding or taking out slots, or the…read moresame for dining venues. Activity seems to be a constant. This time it was doing away with the original sportsbook, and relocating it against a nondescript wall deeper in the casino. Not a good look for us bettors. I was told that Station casinos has taken over this aspect of of our gambling vice. In so doing, I'm thinking Casablanca has given it the Ol' heave ho. The sportsbook has been transformed into a comicbook. Good ridden to the bank of TV's. Out you go ample seating. So long talley board giving the spreads. Usher in the new and unimproved thimble experience. A few roundtop tables, and I wonder what the line on the game is? In the place of the old sportsbook location, installed are yet more uninspiring slots. Yes slots are the bread and butter of a casino. But bread gets stale and butter will turn rancid before long. Before you know it, the Casablanca will lean toward its one time neighbor The Oasis. That remnant is a blight on the landscape of Mesquite. However that infection could spread west if ownership doesn't quit tinkering with what made this casino resort a success. The renovated rooms are nice, and getting rid of the buffet was probably the right decision. What's lacking is the once old school ambiance. Adding new this and new that may not have the desired effect. What may happen is that we'll decide to stay home and gamble on our phones. Or better yet, gamble on our phones while in a national park or sitting on a beach in Hawaii. With diminishing returns hovering, it may not be prudent to gamble on repeat business. Quick Tip: If you want a quiet place to hang, visit the business center next to the elevators. In all the years that I've been visiting, I've yet to see anyone (other than myself) in there. You could literally have a party and not have to worry about being disturbed. It's also five times bigger that the new sportsbook!

1 Star - Overpriced, Poorly Maintained, and Completely Misrepresented…read moreI booked a king bungalow at the Casablanca Resort expecting something at least reasonably nice for the price. What we got was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. The Room Was a Disaster The dishwasher wasn't even screwed into the cabinetry. Fixtures were hanging off the walls. Light bulbs were blown out. Everything was extremely dated and clearly neglected. The floors were so visibly dirty that we kept our shoes on the entire stay -- in our own room. For what they charge, this is completely unacceptable. Noise Was Unbearable -- And Never Disclosed Both Friday AND Saturday nights, the resort hosts loud pool parties. And I don't mean "a little noisy." The bass was literally shaking the fixtures and walls in our room. We couldn't even hear the TV. We had no idea this was going to happen when we booked. This should be prominently disclosed at the time of booking -- full stop. If I had known, I never would have stayed here over a weekend. On top of that, we were in a bungalow with two connecting rooms on both sides, and we could hear everything going on in both. Zero sound insulation. Staff Was Unhelpful and at Times Confrontational The front desk had no property maps available, so we had no idea where our room was. We dragged our luggage all over the resort trying to find it. Security directed us to the completely wrong area -- apparently even the staff doesn't know the layout of their own property. The check-in experience was made worse by a front desk agent who was noticeably crabby and negative. Not exactly a warm welcome. The worst interaction of the trip came the first night when I returned with my son (who is under 21) to a security guard who got aggressively in my face at the gate -- despite the fact that our room was literally ten feet away. Instead of any reasonable accommodation, he sent us completely around the entire property and back through the pool area. The attitude was completely unnecessary and frankly intimidating. Bottom Line This resort is overpriced for what it delivers. The room was poorly maintained, the noise situation was undisclosed and extreme, the staff was either unhelpful or outright rude, and the overall experience was stressful from check-in to check-out. I would not return and cannot recommend it to anyone -- especially families.

1 Star - Disappointing and Stressful Experience…read more My wife and I drove from California to Las Vegas hoping for a simple, stress-free wedding experience. Unfortunately, that's the opposite of what we got from Chapel of the Flowers. The night before our trip, I booked one of their packages online, thinking it would be easy and straightforward. Soon after, I received an email from our assigned "planner," Sarah Garcia. At first, she seemed helpful and reassuring. She got on the phone with us and convinced us to upgrade to a "custom" suit and dress rental for $700. Looking back, I regret acting impulsively--this was the start of everything going downhill. The rental company they work with had terrible options. My wife and I didn't like any of the suits or dresses and didn't feel comfortable or happy with what was offered. On such an important day, no one should feel forced to "settle." So we decided to cancel the rental, thinking we could be refunded. That's when the problems really started. We were told there was absolutely no way to cancel and no possibility of reimbursement. Staff told me I had to speak with Sarah, but she suddenly started dodging my calls. For over an hour, I kept calling with no response--yet she was clearly communicating with the rental company during that time. It felt intentional and extremely unprofessional. When she finally responded, nothing was resolved. We felt pressured and cornered into following through with everything. It honestly felt like a scam. There was zero concern for how upset and uncomfortable we were. Despite everything, Sarah acted like nothing was wrong and expected us to move forward with the ceremony at their chapel. By then, the experience had completely ruined our trust. Why would anyone want to get married somewhere after being treated like that? In the end, we lost about $2,000 between this company and their affiliate. Thankfully, we found another chapel in Vegas that was honest, affordable, and actually cared about us. Our wedding turned out great--but not because of Chapel of the Flowers. If you're planning one of the most important days of your life, please learn from my mistake. Don't trust this place with your special moment. We felt taken advantage of, ignored, and disrespected. Very disappointed.
