Attended the corn maze as a couple date night, we arrived and there were two lines one for pre purchased tickets or those just showing up. We waited in line for about 30 minutes so please be sure to purchase ahead of time. ***We had corn thrown at us and was called NIGGERS BY TEENAGERS WHO WERE ALSO IN THE HARD LABLED CORN MAZE WHICH WAS TERRIFYING WHILE IN THE DARK AND TRYING TO MAKE OUR WAY OUT. 2. We purchased the white wrist band which included the haunted hay ride and haunted corn maze. The line for the hay ride was long but moved fast due to the amount of riders able to get on.I think they can do more but it was okay the haunted maze was really where the excitement was due the night. 3. We were unable to pick any watermelon, cantaloupe ,.....anything as everything was picked over, dead, or non existent. They had animals to feed and a pig race that I thought was cool. 4. They had fire pits to rent , there's a lot of open space for the kids to run around and great for photo opportunities.

First time attending this event and I've lived in Las Vegas for over 21 years. This is an event that's very family friendly. Even the haunted corn maze is not bloody and gory it's just more jump scares than anything else. But I'm a person that scares very easily and jumps at everything. So they heard me screaming all the way through the corn maze the night I went LOL. They've moved the event to a bigger location and it's very spread out and spacious. I went with my roommate and he tried to buy tickets online but wasn't able to. Everything is priced a la carte. They do have some activities bundled together but it's not what we wanted for ourselves. It took over an hour to drive to the location in Logandale from Las Vegas. Then you have to park in a dirt open lot and get in a large line to get in if you're going at night. We spent over an hour in line for the haunted corn maze but it was worth it. The fire pits looked very inviting. The employees were courteous and friendly. The hot apple pie fries that my roommate shared with me were delicious! I would suggest bringing a jacket if it's night time that you go because it got a little chilly and I would also suggest wearing some old shoes because you can get very dusty and dirty out there. Next time I want to try the zombie paintball and the haunted hayride.

Our first time here. We got a black and a blue wristband. Very small farm. Lots of bees and some got into our car. Since there was no corn this year, we didn't get to do the corn cannons. We picked out a decent size pumpkin. The prices for food were good. We got some drinks and apple slices. I really love that the apples are sliced instead of the big apple that we never finish. The young employees here don't know many answers, so you might have to ask an adult if you have a question. We did the day time corn mazes. The first one was easy, if you follow the map. The second one (the hard one) we were in there for 30 minutes and got completely lost. We had to turn around and come back through the entrance. It started to get hot so we didn't want to keep circling. That was pretty fun. We didn't go on the hayride, even though we did purchase it. We petted some goats and got to see some farm animals. I bet the nighttime events are more exciting but we have early schedules so it's hard to make those kind of hours.

Finding itself 45 minutes to an hour north of Las Vegas, the Moapa Valley Corn Maze is a yearly tradition in my household. Just a heads up two things you definitely want to bring are sunblock and Off! insect repellant. We always go thru tons of it here. This place seems to add more and more every year. Our first stop is always the huge swings, followed by the four-wheel cycle track, then we wander off into the mini petting zoo and then sort of stumble along aimlessly to whatever other attractions spark our attention. I believe they have a haunted corn maze in the evening once the sun goes down. They have paintball shooting (at targets, not at each other, sadly) and one of those huge inflatable bubble-looking trampolines. They also have various slides all over the place. They have food stands with reasonable pricing (waters are $1, hot dogs $4 and I THINK cheeseburgers are like $7), and they also have cool desert stands including funnel cakes, cheesecake slices on a stick, Carmel apples and things like that. Our personal favorite is the hot apple pie fries. All in all at 95 degrees its hard for us to spend a whole lot longer than an hour and a half there but if you're better with the heat than us there are plenty of activities to fill your time! Definitely worth the trip!

Went with my sister and nephews and we had a amazing time! It was our first time in a corn maze which has always been on our bucketlist. The apple pie fries and apple lemonade were BOMB! Y'all have to get it when you go there. Music was great and the service was pleasant. The only unpleasant experience we encountered is that every time you opened up the trash can to toss your stuff away a swarm of 20-30 bees were either inside the trash or on top of the lid. Lol it's terrifying if you have an allergic reaction to bees. If they can do some better control with that, I would bump up my rating. Other than that, totally worth the drive from Vegas!

Fun evening with the family. Lots food an activities. If you have a stroller make sure it has large wheels. Lines can be long for the popular things sso plan accordingly

This is our second year attending and I'm sure we'll be back again before the season ends. Open from 7pm to 10pm, there's not quite enough time to do everything, especially on busier nights like on the weekend. I prefer to attend during the week, Wednesday or Thursday nights. There's not much of a crowd and the lines aren't as long. There are a TON of activities for kids, my kids love coming here (their ages are 7, 9 and 12). There's a huge swing set, humongous bounce pad, pig races (they all have cute superhero names and don matching capes), mini zip line, petting zoo (you can purchase feed for a quarter and hand-feed the animals), pedal tractors, playground with jumbo Jenga, checkers and jumbo four in a row games. You can pick your own pumpkins (for an additional fee), walk through the corn mazes (haunted and regular) and haunted houses. The haunted hayride doesn't have any actors along the route this year but it was still a fun ride for the kiddies. The haunted corn maze is fun as was the shriek shack. My 7 year old is pretty adventurous and tries to keep up with the older kids, she didn't have a problem walking through either of them. Everyone but me went on the zombie paintball, the kids had a good time. You shoot paintballs from a converted school bus at "zombies" wearing full protective gear. Maybe a good idea to purchase additional paintballs but it's pretty expensive, $10 for an extra 100 paintballs. It goes pretty quick, especially for novice kids. We didn't make it through the haunted barn, not sure where it's located. The haunted corn maze is located by the entrance this year. There's food available for purchase. We bought caramel apples, fries and funnel cakes to eat around the fire pit. We stayed at our pit until almost 11pm before they shut the lights out... it was dark DARK. We'll be back again on another Wednesday or Thursday night before the season ends. Good times and great screen-free activities. TIPS: Tickets can be purchased online on their website. There's a lot of walking and dirt everywhere so maybe wear your older comfy shoes. Also, it gets COLD so wear layers and bring gloves if you tend to get cold (like me). There are only porta potties available, bring hand sanitizer! Would have given additional star(s) if the event was staffed with more actors on the maze and hayride. It's pretty expensive for the different activities ($300 for five of us, including four zombie paintball tickets) we expected more "scare" staff like there was last year in 2020.

This is a very traditional corn maze experience with the added bonus of a haunted corn maze. Hay rides and corn cannons. Fun food too. Lots of fun and free activities for the kids like a playground, swings, and bouncy platforms. Live music and opportunities for bringing in a picnic and gathering round firepits. The downside is the lines. But they do their best to accommodate. I'd highly suggest getting your tickets online before you arrive. That line is SO much shorter and faster.

I wish I had known about this place sooner! We went out here with a group, they have group rates, and it was a blast! I was pleasantly surprised to find they had more activities and things to do than I had expected. The Corn maze was huge! We went while it was still light outside, we didn't want to do the haunted maze after dark. The kids loved running all over trying to get out. We had some cheaters cut through the corn. The pig races were such a riot. I loved how the guy running it got the crowd going and yelling for the piggies. I could watch pig races all day. The tricycle-go-carts and swing carousal were also a big hit. There was a corn pit, I'd love to see that turned into popcorn. There was also a ginormous swing, paint ball, tractor rides, huge jenga, connect 4, tug of war, corn hole and so much more. They had a little snack bar that served drinks, fry bread, fries, hotdogs, etc. You could also do face painting and there's a little playground for kids. There was so much to do but it was lacking in decorations. It could have been done up a lot more and had more seating around at various locations. The parking lot was a dirt lot and there's lots of mud around so I'd be aware of tracking all that into your car. We ended renting a fire pit and roasted hotdogs and s'mores with our group. Luckily we all brought lawn chairs, as there was only a few bales of hay to sit on around the pit. It was so much fun!

Came for the Halloween event at Moapa Valley Cornmaze. It's about an hour drive from the Southwest part of Las Vegas. If you're not paying attention to your GPS or map you could easily miss the cornmaze as it is not visible from the highway. Upon taking the cut off you drive through a dirt paved road. At some point in the road it turns into a one-pane road so be cautious of other vehicles. Parking is not cement paved or lined either, which isn't a problem but I know a few people who'd prefer that type of designated parking. Also, make sure you look out for rocks both big and small. It wasn't a long process to pay for the admission at the entrance. We bought our tickets when we got there and the line was not long at all. We did go a bit earlier, around 3pm so the heat at that time was pretty brutal. There were lots of activities for people of all ages to take part in. There was a corn maze, a bounce mat, miniature zipline (which my old self braved in front of a bunch of kids), pig races, giant swings, pumpkin picking, watermelon picking, etc. By nightfall the temperature dropped some 10-15 degrees. At that time there were other Halloween themed activities you could take part in at a smaller extra charge. There was a haunted hayride (which was literally just driving through the fields looking at different scary scenes), zombie paintball, the haunted cornmaze, and two haunted houses. Very very family friendly. If you get hungry there's a concession stand that offers a very basic menu. The prices are decent as well but feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks if you'd like. There's also little tents of entrepreneurs selling their homemade products, which I encourage you to check out and support. Overall, it was a great experience and it was a nice new scenery from the hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas city. I'd recommend it for some good family fun. There was a small concern for me. While all of the employees were masked up, they didn't really enforce patrons to wear masks in respective areas, such as the concession area. There were many people I saw that weren't wearing them. However, there were lots of signs saying to wear a mask so it was mainly people not complying to the rules.

It's ok. Better for teenagers and long drive from Vegas. Drove about 1:30 to get there.

This experience was unforgettable from start to finish in their 165 acre property. We kicked off the day with a short ride on Jafar, a stunning, gentle giant weighing nearly 3,000 pounds. ( love at first sight) After taking some amazing photos with him, he happily stayed nearby and spent the rest of the day with us. From there, we met several other camels and hopped on the tram, where more adventures were to be had . Along the way, we encountered so many incredible animals, more camels, a zedonk, llamas, alpacas, and miniature horses. One of the highlights was feeding Thorn, their adorable pet porcupine, grapes she was just the sweetest little girl. We also got to see New Guinea singing dogs (so cute!) and Ambien, their 20-year-old sloth, who was just as amazing to see in person as you'd imagine. Feeding the alpacas and llamas carrots was such a fun, hands-on experience. As if that wasn't enough, four friendly Ridgeback dogs casually joined us on the tram, roaming freely and adding even more charm to the day. Every animal we encountered was gentle, well cared for and clearly loved . I truly can't say enough wonderful things about this experience it was pure joy from beginning to end. If you've never met a camel, Ilama, or alpaca, you're missing out. These gentle creatures will absolutely fill your heart. I'm already looking forward to going back again soon. I didn't want the day to end . This is one adventure you don't want to miss it's truly an overload of joy! "LIVE LIFE WITH LOVE & LAUGHTER" ~PEACE JODY~

Guy the owner, an amazing bank of knowledge, he knows so much about each animal and more. He is a little rough around the edges and some may think him rude; you try to manage a 176 acre ranch with well over 60 animals who have to be fed daily, not so easy... The Camels have a diet of lettuce, carrots, sweet potatoes, apples; the sloth has a special diet which includes egg whites, the ranch dogs get the yolk as a daily treat and they know when that's coming. So in addition to taking care of all the animals, the ranch which is 176 acres, there are also tours to manage. So show him a little appreciation for what he does every day, seven days a week, etc... You can do camel rides, an ATV experience, a zoo tour on a tram, it's not easy and I feel for him so if you go out there, understand his personality has to be rough to deal with all this. Also understand, each animal has its own personality and feelings. Yesterday, Norm a camel used for rides was having a bad day. He was not in the mood for riders. I first tried to ride Norm, he was calm getting his saddle on but once I got on him, he was nope. When Allie got me off of Norm, Norm had an attitude with both Allie and Guy, Norm had to be put in a kennel which Norm was not happy about but needed a time out. So remember, dealing with 30 camels, mini horses, a Llama, Alpacas, a sloth, etc; they are dealing with a lot of different personalities and feelings in addition to people coming to visit. Safety is taken as a HIGH priority. These animals can inflict pain & even death, so I have a LOT of respect for Guy & Allie. They not only have to be concerned with adults but children as well. We arrived at 8:45 which is when the gate is opened, we met Allie and Guy along with another couple. We rode first and as I said Norm was not happy so I got off and they took my friend around the track. Upon coming back with my friend, a whole group showed up for the zoo tour so we were asked if we minded doing the zoo tour and then we will get back to the camel ride. No biggie... The zoo tour was amazing. We got on the tram and were taken to see every animal on the property stopping in each area, learning all about the animals in that area with the opportunity to ask questions, got to go in the kennel to feed the Llama and Alpacas, cool animals, petted the zebra, fed and petted the porcupine, got up close and personal with the sloth and just had an amazing experience. The knowledge gained yesterday was so cool. Once the zoo tour was over I got to ride Lodi. The camel ride was really cool, long and a really neat experience I would do again. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you go out and visit this Camel Safari. They need the support as they have a lot of mouths to feed daily and you will have an amazing experience in the Nevada desert.

Hoping to share the benefits of fresh locally grown produce with my mom, who still lives in Vegas, I searched the internet (thanks, Yelp forums!) and was pleasantly surprised to discover a family-owned farm in Moapa which offered that and more. Since 2010, my mom has been a Meadow Valley shareholder. The shares are split into seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter, and range from 8 to 14 weeks long. When we first signed up, a weekly box per season was the only option, but now they offer a Half Share (every other week), and a choice between a Standard Share (the vegetables in your basket are preselected) or a Premium Share (customize your basket online the previous week). You can pick up your basket directly from the farm, but they will also deliver to the Las Vegas, Henderson, and Mesquite areas for a small fee. Their prices are incredibly reasonable and the product far surpasses what you can get from a grocery store. Obviously, the harvest varies by season. Still, after two years, my mom never fails to comment about how the fresh carrots or kale or beets or squash or (feel free to substitute your pick of produce here) are bursting with flavor. I never would have imagined that such an abundance of greens, veggies, and fruit could come from Moapa. Not only that, but they offer an Egg Share option, and sometimes have honey or bread. It's not uncommon for herbs or flowers to pop up, either. I have to make special note about the quality of customer service offered by the owners, Lyndy and Bryce. My mom isn't internet-savvy, so I handle everything from my end, and how I "signed" her up to be a shareholder was complicated because of the circumstances. It didn't show from their end, though; they were happy to accomodate us and have always been quick with responding via e-mail. They even called her to make sure her first delivery was on par. My mom is picky and unafraid to be vocal about it, but Meadow Valley has far surpassed both her and my expectations. I'm happy to support both their business and their principles. In the spirit of "community", they even support other local CSAs -- trust me, Las Vegans, if you haven't experienced what's akin to a farmer's market delivered to your door, you don't know what you're missing out on. Anyone looking for fresh, local, quality produce in the LV metro area should absolutely give Meadow Valley a try. Yes, you can join a CSA even if you live in a desert!

I have to tell the cucumbers I buy from Bryce & Lyndy are fantastic, as well other vegetable fresh chicken and eggs. We also find there honey, fresh bread, nuts, and more. I recommend my clients to go and hold fresh produce. I am an Esthetician who likes very much natural products to eat and for my services, specially for masks, lotions and more, I have my Spa close to the market so it is convenient to go between clients or before I open. Thank you for being so kind. Nelly Scheer- Charnel Spa

Found this hidden gem in Las Vegas on Facebook and finally decided to check it out with the family…read more We went on a Sunday around 1 PM after church, and while we still had a great time, it was definitely HOT outside. I would highly recommend visiting during cooler weather or earlier in the day so you can enjoy it longer without the heat draining you. The farm itself is a little hidden away, but they do have signs posted for parking, which made it easier to find once we got close. One thing I really liked is that admission is completely free, although they do have a donation box at the entrance if you'd like to support the farm and the animals. There were quite a few animals to see including horses, donkeys, goats, ducks, and pigs. The highlight for us was feeding the animals. Make sure you buy a bag of carrots because the animals definitely know visitors come with treats and they'll come right up to you expecting snacks. The goats especially were very eager and entertaining for the kids. I also noticed they host events here and offer pony and horse rides, which would be really fun for birthday parties or family gatherings. Even though it's a simple little farm, it turned out to be a fun and relaxing activity for kids and families looking for something different to do in Las Vegas away from the Strip. Overall, we had a good experience and would probably come back again when the weather is cooler.

It was pretty much lackluster but it had the basics. Horses, donkeys, hogs, roosters, geese. It also had that homey feeling of items from days of old were strategically placed throughout the farm. It's free but donations of $5.00 or is asked for.

I've had the big blocks of white cheddar (and bought jack cheddar this day) and both were so mild, creamy and the most delicious cheese ever. The milk is excellent, too. Two of my friends bought the small $15 packages of sharp cheddar. I tasted it and it was so pungent, very strong and bitter. I was embarrassed that I recommended it. Just know that the extra sharp is a whole different flavor profile than the big blocks of regular cheddar and the person at the register should say this is strong, bitter and pungent instead of saying "have you ever had sharp cheddar before." A little forewarning for those that don't realize.
