    My couches we're like new...until Clark Carpet Cleaning.  I am suing him for damages.  He refused to pay 3000 for 12,000 couches.

    I would like to share a very disturbing experience I had this past week. I have 2 very high end couches that were given to me as a gift from one of my clients. These couches are feather filled and I have had them less than a year and they were given to me in pristine condition. I went on groupon to see if I could find a reputable company to clean them before my crawfish boil this weekend as we were meeting very special people for the first time. Gary Clark of Clark Carpet Cleaning assured me that he could appropriately clean them for more than the groupon offer due to it takes much longer to clean feather couches. We scheduled and he showed up. It took him a total of 45 min to spray water all over my floor and couches and leave the worse mess I've ever seen. He walked across a white Sofia Vergara rug with his muddy shoes and didn't batt an eye. To say the least I wanted him OUT of my house so that I could start cleaning up his mess...unknowingly to me that he ruined my couches. I stopped payment on the check when I realized at they were turning oranger by the moment. He spot cleaned them from the look the pictures. When the check didn't clear he called upset and said he wished I had called him back to fix it instead of stopping payment. And that he would sent a sister company to "fix it" haha. the sister company came and we by far more professional than Mr Clark. They informed us that he had once partnered with their current owner and due to his incompetency in doing a throughout his job, they split ways. They informed me that my furniture is RUINED BEYOND SALVAGING. And stated they had never seen such a mess in their entire careers. Mr Clark called offering to pay for the damages. We told him $3,000. Keep in mind that the replacement cost of each couch EACH (see photos with pricing) is $6,100. We thought $3k was fair. Less than 1/2 of ONE couch. Although by law we are entitled to full replacement value. Mr Clark refused to pay us this amount because he said the couches were a gift to us and therefore we are only entitled to what we "paid" to them. Needless to say we will be filing a lawsuit this week asking for the FULL replacement value as we are entitled to and following up with a lien on his home (as he is a family owned business). He had insurance and we could have at the beginning asked for full amount but we tried to be merciful. He stated he does not want to claim it on his insurance....if you are in this area please share this. Save someone else the heartache. Oh, and all our correspondence admitting his guilt and refusal to pay was in text messages. And this is an UNINCORPORATED COMPANY owned by ERIKA PAIGE POOLE. So all of you who are under the 2 year window you can still sue for damages. But make sure that you sue the proper owner of the company. Gary Clark is NOT THE OWNER OF CLARK CARPET CLEANING. ERIKA PAIGE POOLE IS. SHE IS WHO YOU SHOULD FILE THE LAWSUIT ON. I AM!!!!! AND I AM FILING A LIEN ON THEIR PLACE OF RESIDENCE, AS I AM ALLOWED TO DO THAT IN THE STATE OF TEXAS.

    They were AWESOME! We have a lab puppy who got sick in the bedroom and they got the smell right out.

Never in a million years did I think that Upfront Home Service would do me dirty like this after all of our years of working together but I guess that's what happens when a company gets GREEDY. They forget that it is their long time customers who helped them to succeed. Recently, we scheduled a move out carpet cleaning with a few patch repairs. At first, I thought everything was going great until I saw the one patch job. We brought it to the technicians attention & he said that was the absolute best patch that could be done. I didn't agree but waited until it dried. After he left, I went upstairs and noticed that the scent that is usually very pleasant after carpet cleaning was not there but instead the stench of dirty water was present & extremely strong.This was not the norm in past jobs with them so I immediately knew something was not right. I called the office & asked them to send someone over right away to see the job that was done and to smell the odor. I thought Rachel was going to send over a supervisor to check things out the next day but all that came over was a regular technician with a can of deodorizer to mask the odor. I thought they would have redid carpet & fixed the patch but that was not the case. Mind you, my circumstances have never changed during the 9 years I have used Upfront Home Services I have always had animals, & yes, animals have accidents. There was no more or less than the norm. After they cleaned my carpet, the carpet smelt great each time, so they cannot say it was my fault or point fingers. If they had only come out to see for themselves what I was referring to after I asked them to, they would have seen & smelt what I was talking about but they chose not to. A few days after this took place, & after I had a few moments to myself after moving State to State, I wrote an email to the owner, Joseph Pais expressing my concern & instead of reaching out to me personally, he had someone by the name of Daniel Guida call on his behalf. He seemed nice at the time & said he would send someone over to fix. I explained to him that the second visit should have handled this & that we no longer had access to the home. We moved out. I told him we had spent almost $1000 on this work & the least they could do since they didn't fix any of it on second visit was to maybe refund us something. Maybe 15-20 percent of the cost since the job was not done right & no one thought it necessary to stop by next day to see what we were talking about. Well a week later, Daniel did not call me back so I sent a follow up Text to him yesterday. I saw that he read my text but didn't feel he should be professional & reply. I then sent another email to the owner, this morning, & he had the nerve to offer me a refund of $50 & a $300 credit if we ever returned to Texas & needed carpet cleaning. We moved to Florida 2 weeks ago AND WHY DO I NEED TO WAIT TO RETURN TO GET A CREDIT? REFUND ME NOW. THE JOB STILL SUCKS!!!!! If Joseph or Daniel had come to the house, they would have witnessed first hand our complaints & the odor we had after they cleaned it along with the really bad patch job. If our 9 years of business means nothing to them & they insult me by offering me a $50 refund after spending almost $1000 on this past job, then they can keep it. Apparently, they need the money more than I do. Keep this in mind if you need to hire a company to clean your carpet, tile, etc. If my 9 years of business meant absolutely nothing to them, how do you think they will treat you or your home?

Ryan at Busy Bee responded so quick before I got a chance to do research on the selected vendors. Just took a few sentences, I began to like his personality and direct answers. It appeared as what the website and other reviewers said. I quickly made a decision to hire this vendor. Ryan and his crew arrived at the specific time, after 3 pm because of errands on a Saturday afternoon. Gave me the quote as described on the chat. They took care of the master bedroom and a small portion of tiled bathroom. He left me an instructions for drying time. I also asked about the cost for cleaning they walking closet in the master bedroom. I skipped this time because I used it to evacuate the furniture from master bedroom. Busy Bees Carpet Steamer is based in Cypress area. My house is south end on the map. They are so nice. I'm going to treat them for lunch at Chinatown next time I use the service again.

I called them up, got hold of someone on the phone on my first attempt and she had me scheduled for later that day. Ryan showed up, got my banquette cleaned in pristine condition in less than an hour and cleaned the carpet in my office which had terrible pet stains from my elderly dog. The carpet turned out completely spot-free, the odor was gone and it looked brand new. Ryan asked me a number of times if I was happy with their work and he could not have been nicer and professional. I can't recommend them enough.
