I have used Clarks Carpet Cleaning services several times over the years. We have rental properties. If we are not changing out the carpet I call Clarks. They are very professional and do great work. I never have to wonder if they will show up and I always get a 30 minute notice that Gary is on his way. They do not try to upcharge you like some other companies do. I would like to share a very disturbing experience I had this past week. I have 2 very high end couches that were given to me as a gift from one of my clients. These couches are feather filled and I have had them less than a year and they were given to me in pristine condition. I went on groupon to see if I could find a reputable company to clean them before my crawfish boil this weekend as we were meeting very special people for the first time. Gary Clark of Clark Carpet Cleaning assured me that he could appropriately clean them for more than the groupon offer due to it takes much longer to clean feather couches. We scheduled and he showed up. It took him a total of 45 min to spray water all over my floor and couches and leave the worse mess I've ever seen. He walked across a white Sofia Vergara rug with his muddy shoes and didn't batt an eye. To say the least I wanted him OUT of my house so that I could start cleaning up his mess...unknowingly to me that he ruined my couches. I stopped payment on the check when I realized at they were turning oranger by the moment. He spot cleaned them from the look the pictures. When the check didn't clear he called upset and said he wished I had called him back to fix it instead of stopping payment. And that he would sent a sister company to "fix it" haha. the sister company came and we by far more professional than Mr Clark. They informed us that he had once partnered with their current owner and due to his incompetency in doing a throughout his job, they split ways. They informed me that my furniture is RUINED BEYOND SALVAGING. And stated they had never seen such a mess in their entire careers. Mr Clark called offering to pay for the damages. We told him $3,000. Keep in mind that the replacement cost of each couch EACH (see photos with pricing) is $6,100. We thought $3k was fair. Less than 1/2 of ONE couch. Although by law we are entitled to full replacement value. Mr Clark refused to pay us this amount because he said the couches were a gift to us and therefore we are only entitled to what we "paid" to them. Needless to say we will be filing a lawsuit this week asking for the FULL replacement value as we are entitled to and following up with a lien on his home (as he is a family owned business). He had insurance and we could have at the beginning asked for full amount but we tried to be merciful. He stated he does not want to claim it on his insurance....if you are in this area please share this. Save someone else the heartache. Oh, and all our correspondence admitting his guilt and refusal to pay was in text messages. And this is an UNINCORPORATED COMPANY owned by ERIKA PAIGE POOLE. So all of you who are under the 2 year window you can still sue for damages. But make sure that you sue the proper owner of the company. Gary Clark is NOT THE OWNER OF CLARK CARPET CLEANING. My dog peed on our brand new couch and they did a great job getting the urine smell out! They even gave me a special cleaning solution to use on my carpets and upholstery in case it happened again and explained how to get the smell out. Will definitely use them again to clean my carpet in the future. read more

Unless they have other maids besides Sharon,I would not recommend their services. She was scheduled for a deep clean including mopping, dusting, base boards, blinds, bathroom ect! I was told it would take about 4 to 6 hours, she was done in less than 3 hours.My wood panel blinds where only dusted on one side ( the side you can see when they are shut ). Mediocre job on mopping their were very large spots missed! My guest bathroom appears to not have been mopped at all! Mirrors were not cleaned! A lot of furniture was not dusted. Not to mention I have in home security camera that I can watch live feed and she was mostly on her phone! I also took pictures for proof! I will not be using their services again! read more

Worst service I have ever received in my entire life. The person who came to clean the carpet was a dirty looking guy and you could smell the cigarette from miles away. He cleaned 4 bedrooms in 45 minutes, which amazed me coz It takes me longer just to vacuum. When he left and the carpet for dry, my carpets were worst than what they were before. The carpet was almost black and sticky. I called them back and they insulted me on the phone and said that if I call them again, they will report me to the cops. I had to call another company and fix it. Total waste of moneyed In response to your reply: I think you might still be on drugs as I am a woman and you are referring to me as 'Sir' in your reply. This just proves you must have put others through this terrible ordeal of your horrible service and now can't even remember how many customers you have screwed over. I purchased a Groupon to have my carpet cleaned before guests stay with me over the holidays. I read the fine print on the Groupon website before purchasing. After I made the purchase, I booked my appointment online which showed availability all week. I chose my appointment date/time and then contacted the company directly just to let them know I'd be using the Groupon for payment. The owner told me he is not accepting Groupons at this time and that there are "black out" dates. He claims this is noted in the fine print - but it is not. I asked him to honor the Groupon and he said they are too busy and can't get me in for two weeks -- even though I clearly saw on the website when booking my appointment that there is availability all week. The owner was very rude and condescending over the phone and basically implied that I was a less important customer since I chose to use a Groupon. I am a local real estate agent who works exclusively by referral -- you lost a lot of potential business, not just one customer. I will not recommend Clark Carpet Cleaning to any of my clients. read more

Gave a reasonable quote on move out clean with his maid service, the move ended up being WAY more than I anticipated and Gary showed up to help! WARNING ** Do not use this company ** I really wish I could say I had a good experience with this company but everything went horribly wrong the saying is you get what you paid for well I sure did they were advertising a very low price much lower than the average I checked out website and facebook everything seem to check out family owned company running a special ' so I thought. A man showed up to my house 3 hrs late smelled like he had been drinking all night was very rude but that was just the beginning I was so ready to be done I let him go ahead and get started I was having some very expensive furniture that has been in my family for years cleaned it can not be replaced he proceeded to clean and then says all done I go to check out and half of the couch was faded the dye from the couch was running off never seen anything like this whatever chemicals were used (they claimed organic) completely ruined my furniture I called Erika and explained they did not come out bright and clean like She stated they would after I explained how important this furniture was to me before I even scheduled she over and over assured me everything would be fine no worries I am now beyond furious and she rudely says to me I need to calm down and maybe my furniture was not as high end as I claimed it to be and sometimes these things happen (are you serious right now) and basically there was nothing they could or would do to rectify the situation. These people care nothing about your home or items all they care about is money I should have never trusted her and gave her money 1st all her good reviews are family and friends the bad reviews I noticed are from true actual customers. I had already arranged to have the carpet on my stairs replaced when I had this company come out to clean the rest of my carpets. He showed up and said he could get the carpet on the stairs clean. Worst experience of our life. Stay away from this company. Don't be fooled by the family picture they posted on their website. This is how they trick you into thinking it is some family company. In fact it was the exact opposite. A complete scam. They did a horrible job of cleaning the carpet. They ruined our carpet and actually made it worse than before they cleaned it. Their products are the worst chemicals they are peddling under the organic name. It left the carpet sticky and turned dark and rusty right afterwards. The cleaning guy was horrible. He came to our home high on drugs and was yelling randomly at different things. He rushed through each room barely spending less than a minute in each room. He smelled horrible with marijuana and alcohol odor coming from his clothes. He was fidgety the whole time and even yelled at our five year old girl at one point at which point I had to ask him to leave. At first he refused to leave and we had to call the authorities before he decided to leave cursing his way out of our home. Please please please don't be scammed by this company. Keep your family and your home safe from people like these. A BIG SCAM!!!! read more
