I visited the Clarendon Vape shop on December 29th at around 11am. A clerk, a middle-aged, tall Caucasian man, "assisted" me. After explaining what I needed, the clerk did not know that a vape coil is also known as atomizer. Whether he felt offended when I said that it was ok and I could look for it elsewhere, but the clerk then, entirely unprovoked, told me to get the f-ck out of the store as I did not know what I wanted. He said it while other shoppers were in the store. I have never written a negative review before. But this behavior exceeds every reasonable expectation from a worker in a first-world country. Or are we still one? I have had my doubts lately. read more

Fake products. Buyer beware and boycott. I'm not the only one. Fake Ooze pens. Literally per the manufacturer after it stopped working after one week. Fake. Pen. Unreal. The "owner's" response below is complete BS. I called Ooze because they have a lifetime warranty, read them the serial number and NO WARRANTY because it's a fake battery. I'm not the only one that I know that had had the same issue. And the CBD they sell is also fake "full spectrum". Full spectrum isn't clear! Ever!!! This shop is a scam shop. Stay away. read more

Excellent establishment. They don't treat me like an idiot, and have a great selection of water devices, accessories, and cigars. Really appreciate the laid back UNDERSTANDING attitudes. read more

zero knowledge of the inventory & zero interest in providing me customer service = a zero rating...period!!! for the record, u shaded a former cigar shop employee who is now a journalist that writes reviews on customer service experiences. Came here with my boyfriend on Saturday looking for a vape pen and Preston (I believe that was his name) was very nice and took the time to help us find a good vape as this was our first time purchasing one, and we had no clue where to start. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. We will definitely return! read more

Total ass-hats running this place. Guy tried to sell me a display model for retail with no discount prolly been on 50 sets of lips. Told him nah and he got an attitude. Don't shop here. read more

Thought to stop in to ask if this location stocked FX CBD Overnight Recovery Balm as I have gotten it from their other location many times over the past year. Getting it from this location is ideal since I work blocks away. I walked into the business and was greeted stalely by the younger of the two as both came from the rear of the business. I told the young guy what I was looking for, the reply was very stale, stand-offish, and not inviting. At that time, I decided I would not spend my money in this place. The last time I was at the other location, the owner stated that she could not find good workers as the reason why she was at the shop that day. I found the same exact product online for less with free shipping. I will NEVER step foot in either location again. TRAIN YOUR STAFF to treat EVERYONE as if they are coming in to spend 5k. You lost a customer. read more

Mickey and staff are outstanding. Very knowledgeable and will help you find what your looking for

I came in and bought a Aloe Grape Puff bar, that was leaking and didn't taste right. First of all the man behind the counter was not wearing his mask and was acting like I was interrupting him by asking to buy something. The puff DIED no more than an hour after I got it. Pretty sure it's fake. 10/10, would NOT RECOMMEND read more

Definitely UNPROFESSIONAL!! I go in to this store weekly to buy a box of games leafs. The gentleman said we don't have that one particular kind and I can't sell you this box because it's my last one. MIND YOU (prior weeks) employee would go check in the back and bring me a box and continue purchase with no issues. While the cashier was helping me the other gentleman walked up to me and stated "I knew you were going to say that! And we don't sell the boxes to anyone! " HOW RUDE ! Don't greet me or anything! So I asked what's different from any other day! And he nonchalantly says we are not selling boxes. I AM SUPER BIG ON CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I DO NOT COME OFF WRONG TO ANYONE But this particular guy demeanor was off and tone was DISRESPECTFUL. I walked out and said thank you because I know the person I CAN BE! NO STARS read more

THANK YOU to Clarendon capes for being the ONLY smoke shop to EVER tell me that you aren't supposed to charge your vape battery's in an iPhone charger cube!!!!! Seriously, I've been through at least 30 batteries and no one has ever told me this. Obviously it's important! I thought these were just a sick money pit that I was addicted too. Turns out it doesn't have to be if you're charging them correctly!!! Thank you!!!!! read more

Great selection. Try the Cuban "rejects," good cigars at discounted prices. Needs more parking!!

Great local shop! Workers are always incredibly personable and help. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Came here yesterday after I was blown off by Burn & Brew. Was looking for a specific kind of cigar called and called up B&B. The lady tells me they have it I drive 2 hours to find out they don't. Luckily this place was near by I called and the gentlemen made sure they had it and sure enough a full box of it. Was happy with the service in and out in 5 mins. Was also recommended a cigar by the employee that he thought I'd like. Great service here definitely will be back. Wish I took the gentleman's name who helped me. Very nice guy read more

Went and bought this from this store. (Side note: The people working there are very nice, and not at all at fault for the inferior brittle glass that's sold there and terrible return policies the store owner for some reason has enacted.) got home, placed the slider piece into the female pice and when I went to remove it *Ding!* it came right off along with the slider piece attached! I called right back and mentioned I would be coming back the next day to exchange it and they said ok. I came back the next day and told me that the $100 faulty piece of crap they just sold me is not returnable because I left the store with it. It's clearly a defective product and they decided to take my money and not make it right. I tried to show them and they almost made me feel criminal for bringing a piece back into the store like as if it had any residue or anything. It was still brand freaking new. If you boy vape crap they seem to have good stuff I do t k ow but if it's anything like the water pipes and bongs they sell I would steer clear of this place. I went a little distance across the bridge into Georgetown and went to the DC glass gallery and it was amazing. I even got a free gift of Cannabis! Thanks for taking my money, I hope it helped. read more

At first impression this location was good, clean shop with a large selection. However the interactions I had with staff members was deplorable. I only needed a standard battery, however the sales associate wanted me to buy a more expensive version. After politely declining, he handed me a standard battery, I tried to test the button (after following turn on instructions) and nothing happened. The same sales associate assured me thats normal and it would work when screwed on. When I tried again at home, the same thing happened no power at all. I promptly returned to the store (with proper receipt) and the same associate refused to help me with the defective battery. And acting even more unprofessional gave me a curt and aggressive "All sales are final, buy another buddy" Needless to say I won't be returning, there are many other shops in the area that don't shame their customers. read more

I've gone to this shop a couple times without any issues. However I went in 7/29/2019 looking for a replacement for my ONVS Juul compatible vape. I was told they no longer were carrying that brand (not selling) and was recommended to try the SQRL, which is also Juul Compatible. I tried the SQRL and literally it will only hit for two hits and that's it. An associate even tried it and it didn't work. I was told there is NO EXCHANGE, NO REFUND, NO store credit for defective devices. The crazier thing is, they do have a sign which is strategically placed in a corner where you DONT check out or even go to!!! I can't patronize a place that will sell defective equipment with NO REMEDY for the customer besides contacting the manufacturer who may or may not have a warranty for defective equipment. So if you visit this establishment, BEWARE that if you purchase something that is defective, you WILL not get a refund or even an exchange for something that does work. I am highly disappointed in the way they handle their business and I will not be recommending them in the future. read more

This was my second time going to this vape shop and I am from out of town and I couldn't be more impressed with the service and the products and the great conversations I had with the staff members!!!! I will definitely be heading here again before I have to fly home!!!! read more

Staff was nice but I bought an ooze pen and it did not work. As soon as I left the shop I tried it and even charged it and nothing. The light won't even turn on & i can't use the ooze warranty cause they don't provide the original code which makes me think the products are fake. The worker didn't even try to test the battery to see if it worked and just sold it to me. The worst thing is that they don't allow any returns so I paid $17 for an ooze battery that wasn't even working. The least they could do is check if the batteries work before putting them for display. read more

Bought a puff bar that was broken. Went back and they replaced it for me without any issues. Cool staff.

Great great great service,I'm picky and I spent a lot of time testing different flavors and they were patient and made my husband and I laugh and feel very comfortable went back up there the very next day and the vibe was the same I appreciate it you don't find that to often anymore definitely when sales are involved we felt great about every purchase we made. Thanks guys!! read more

Normally everyone is very nice. However the girl bigger girl "manager" was so rude to me. I've been coming there for months!! Thats how you'd be able to tell that I'm not lying about a vape not working. Why would I lie about a 18 dollar vape? So stupid. Don't appreciate getting treated like I would be lying when I'm a regular customer. Not once has anyone ever told me to try the vape first BTW! read more

Totally recommend: this store is amazing and got everything anyone who smokes would ever need!!! On 4/29/19, I wanted some Juul pods. I regularly purchase pods or salt juice. The service associate was more ass-ociate than service. He walked slowly down the counter looking down, not even making eye contact. I am greeted with a snarky "How can I help you?" as if he wasn't happy. I asked if they had mint pods, and he responded with a contrite "Yep." I politely asked for a box and proceeded to the checkout. Not a single word except "Do you want your receipt?" I will be ordering my pods from Juul Labs from now on. Lower prices and better customer service from a website. read more

Terrible place. I bought a bubble carb cap and it melted while it was in the banger. I went there to try to get my refund and they said they can't. Only exchange.
