My family and I stumbled upon this place after grabbing a bite to eat in the city. We asked our server if there was a place we can leave our luggage since we just came m the airport. To our surprise, right across the street was this spot and we spoke to a nice person named Taylor. She mentioned that for a small charge, we can leave our luggage here before checking into our place or stay later on. I've been to Burn & Brew a few times, and really like it. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, and always happy to help. Great selection of glass, papers, and other accoutrements, plus a few items to satisfy any...cravings one might expect to have in the not-so-distant future. A small offering of shisha, which the man I talked called "emergency supplies", but no water pipes. Cigarettes are sold; no e-cigarettes. I want to try the coffee when I return. read more

Yo listen here - This place is so 'welcoming' the owner serviced me. They are open 9AM to Midnight daily! They also have an Iced cold brewed coffee version that was delicious sampled. No sugar needed to add or flavor creamer. I drank it just fine as is. I give this place a two thumbs up. The shop was clean. Even though I am not a smoker just dropped in for coffee sign I saw. Knowledgeable staff who is more than willing to educate you or offer up their personal opinion. We have done side-by-side comparisons of many of their products to the shop next-door and this place is in fact cheaper 8 times out of 10. That said, when it is more expensive, it is well justified because the products they choose to stock are of a much higher quality. We won't buy our Shisha or coffee anywhere else (we still purchase hookah coals on the Internet bec it's cheaper). We suggest the super premium Shisha that comes rolled up (just not the pear flavor- it's overpowering). So why only 4 stars? Because the store has such limited shelf space, they are occasionally out of our favorite Shisha flavors, which is always disappointing because that means we have to go next-door to the more expensive place with the subpar products :( read more

I don't know what ppl are talking about. Coffee is almost impossible to mess up and Burn n Brew does not mess up. I got a free coffee with my check in. I got "money blessing" which was more of a caffeine blessing. It was amazing with a hint of nuts and medium roast. I liked it. It's a shame they don't have ice coffee. The premise or idea of this shop is brilliant. Coffee and pipes goes together like ranch with.....well anything. The problem is this business is in va. Lol if it was in co, ca, etc. Despite its unfortunate location and cant do a full head shop, I love the small business and ambiance of the shop. My fav smoke shop in the area. My partner and I come here for everything we need.. new glass, papers, grinders, etc. The owner is super helpful and always welcoming. Today, I tried their Nitro Coffee and it was AMAZING.... and it's the only place you can get it because it's exclusive to this shop. Was searching for a specific cigar online and google recommended this place to have it. I called the store to make sure since I'm 1.5 hours away and the lady specified that they indeed carried it. I asked her what's the price? She said she isn't allowed to give prices over phone calls but I'm more than welcome to come in since they closed late at 8pm. Told her that sounds good I'm on my way. Drove 1.5 hours and add another 30 mins just to find parking since this place is in a busy downtown street. I entered the store to be greeted by a super loud barking dog. Non stop barking can't hear yourself talk. I told the lady I'm the one who called about the cigar. She says " oh yeah " looks down and then says " umm I honestly think we just sold the last few we had " I told her really? I said I'll be on my way. Anyways I think it would've been courteous for her to save at least one on the side for me but what I really think happened is she knew they sold it but didn't check if they had anymore in stock. I was not happy after spending all that time driving and looking for parking to leave empty handed. Not even a recommendation to buy another cigar from them I was just given a too bad for you kind of look. I went out to my car did some googling and found a place near by Clarendon Vapes & Cigars. Called them and they said they had it and sure enough they had a whole box full. The gentlemen even gave me a recommendation to try another cigar he thinks I'd like. I love stopping by the Burn & Brew! There are days where I'll stop in, grab a coffee, and just hangout and talk with the staff because it has that great of an atmosphere. Crappy business man, I asked him for a dome-less quarts nail and he sells me a ceramic nail that needs a dome then proceeds to call me schizophrenic because I was confused and pondering over the fact he just sold me a ceramic nail. As I explained him the situation he doesn't give me any discount and says I "should've been paying more attention." The pieces he has, most are china glass (ready to break) so it explains the low price. I wrote a review before and he kicked me out the store and removed it so this is my second one. I stopped by burn and brew a few months ago to grab a coffee and have not been able to go anywhere else since. I love that they have French vanilla creamer so I don't have to bother adding any additional sugar. Last week the owner introduced me to nitro coffee and I have gotten it every morning! I hate when the ice melts in iced coffee, so this is absolutely perfect (it stays cold for hours!!). The owner and each employee I have met are always so friendly, even in the early hours of the day. I grew up in the Aurora Hills neighborhood and watched it change. After living in LA for 9 years I returned to my home and have been here now for 14 years. I am so happy 23rd Street has always evolved, this time with the opening of Burn & Brew and Bob & Edith's all within the same month! I am an avid e-cigarette user or Vaper and stumbled upon Taha and his lovely store with a variety of juices and equipment for me to enjoy. He has excellent customer service skills and ordered supplies for me that were there the same day! Just found this place walking around Crystal City this morning. Cheapest prices on cigarettes you're going to find around Arlington. This isn't a full on coffee shop so you're not going to get any fancy speciality drinks but it is a good solid cup of coffee. The owner even makes his own line of vapor juices. This place is awesome! I went in looking for incense, which they no longer sell here, but the shop owner was very polite and apologetic and helped me pick out an aerosol room deodorizer. We began talking and I began to ask about the coffee. I got a cup, just to try it out. I usually cannot drink my coffee without enough cream and sugar for it to no longer be coffee, but a sweet cream with a shot of coffee. I only had to add a packet of sugar and a dash of cream. The coffee was some of the best I've ever had. They also had an amazing selection of glass pieces that I can't wait to go back and shop through.
