The folks at Capital Vape are really knowledgeable and will talk you through any questions you have. Whenever my equipment needed a fix, they've always been very helpful. Don't be turned off by the head-shop atmosphere! The staff, and owner Geoffrey are very responsive and service oriented. If you want good service and selection, this is the best place in DC. Many e-juices I find are disgusting and the flavors targeted towards kids. They serve a more sophisticated clientele and offer a range of high-quality vaping equipment and e-juice. 1. Staff do not wear masks. 2. When I walked in the owner was on the phone and barely looked up. 3. When he finally greeted me he was super dismissive and not helpful. 4. Everything is behind the counter in these wooden cubbies. The store was very dim so there was no way for you to see what was there. 5. Parking is obvs terrible in that area and there are always a ton of people hanging around on the sidewalks so it's not appealing to come to. -5/10 wouldn't recommend. I purchased a vape from here a few weeks ago. Changed the coil and discovered the threading connecting the tank to the mod was defective. Took it to the store to see if it could be repaired or replaced. They refused to do either. Told me to contact the manufacturer and completely refused to assist in any way. These guys rock, they have a lot of experience and their juices just taste better! Wanna know why? They add nicotine at the shop so the nicotine isn't sitting in the bottle forever getting nasty. They only stock zero nic which allows the the freshest original and they can create any nic level you ask for from that at the time of purchase which is awesome because I prefer 2nic to the standard 3nic which is just a little too much for me. I recently relocated to the DMV area from California, where the vape scene is much bigger and you can find a shop on practically every corner. Needless to say, I was hesitant about what my options would be in this area. Thanks to yelp I found Capital Vape Supply, which is not the nearest shop to me but worth the drive. I'm picky when it comes to juice and typically go to multiple shops for the labels I like, but when it comes to having work done on my actual vape I like to stick to one staff that I trust. My first few visits were due to problems with a tank I hadn't even purchased from them. Every time they would fix it within a matter of minutes, no charge. They use mechanical mods as opposed to pens for their juice testers, which is a huge plus because you get a much stronger and more accurate taste. After losing my vape altogether last month, I came in for help selecting a new one. The staff patiently assisted me for well over an hour as I asked a hundred questions and went over pros and cons. I've gone through a variety of mods over the past 2 years, and typically a shop will upsell me on something that ends up being problematic after a week, requiring a lot of maintenance and more money. I upgraded to my first electronic box mod at Capital Vape Supply, have had it for almost a month now and am still as satisfied as the day I bought it. In my experience you get what you pay for when it comes to vapes, but the price was shockingly reasonable at under $100 and I can say the $300 mods I've had in the past were by far more temperamental. I was also pleased to find they carry many different tanks, whereas most shops carry 1 or 2 that only take a certain coil. I bought my first top fill tank with them, about a week later I dropped and shattered it, and even though they had no obligation to replace it for me they did.
