At the moment, this is the oldest tobacconist shop in the nations's capital and the 3rd oldest continuously operating in the country. I was partly disappointed due to not carrying the cigar I was looking for (La Flor Dominicana Andalusian Bull) and there is no smoking allowed in the shop. There isn't a walk in humidor but several display cases of stogies throughout the place. A wide variety of pipes, magazines, accessories and tobacco products available. The service was good, prices are competitive and the place is well kept but the landlord needs to allow a smoke in a cigar lounge.

I'm from NC but, I've visited DC countless times over the years and I have walked past GT plenty of times. On this trip to DC my wife and I were strictly shopping and relaxing so what better way to relax than to pick up a couple of cigars. I'm so glad we stopped in I was first being helped by a young man who did a wonderful job. After asking a couple of questions Teresa stepped in to give me a personal concierge experience that was outstanding she made recommendations and answered any questions I had. We shared some laughs and talked about the history of Georgetown Tobacco, I picked up some really good sticks that I can't wait to try out. I will definitely be stopping back in when I'm in town and I'll also purchase some online to get shipped to me.

Called this store- the gentleman that answered was very polite and said he was sure he could help. I got there and was treated with nothing but respect. The gentleman who owns the shop took all the broken glass out of my vape and put it back together. Turns out he also had two bottles of my fave juice - he nicked it up for me and I was back in business. He even provided the hard to find covers so my tank is protected from shattering.
