I'm not a regular cigar smoker but occasionally, I enjoy a simple stick with my boyfriend. This…read moreplace was the perfect selection for our pre-game date night. My cigar of choice, Davidoff SIGNATURE AMBASSADRICE. This slim stick was pretty simple and easy for me to indulge in. Drink of choice, Black Cherry Manhattan. The dark sweet drink added a sexy twist to the experience and it was smooth. Guess what??? They have ladies night on Wednesday! Definitely going to try it out. No food sold here, just great cocktails. There are however, lots of restaurants nearby so that should not stop you from visiting. Staff were really friendly and made the experience great. The place is nicely organized and comfortable inside and there is an outside patio. No membership needed to experience the magic but they do offer great membership packages for anyone interested in joining. Overall, I will be back!

Nice spot. One of the few remaining cigar bars left in DC…read more This spot is purely smoke, drink and go. They have decent restrooms if you need those, but it leans utilitarian. Functional even...and nope, unlike Shelly's or Ozio's or even 1865 - there's no food served here. Not even wings/fries. Hung with my brother and his pal. Had a long island and after about 1.5 hours, we bounced. Sorry for just the one pic, but I'd return. Service was polite/efficient and I parked next door in the garage. I could have parked on the street today because it's a holiday! Welp.:/

If you find yourself wandering the historic streets of D.C., Georgetown Tobacco is an absolute…read moremust-visit. From the moment you step through the door, the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between old-world sophistication and genuine warmth. What truly sets this establishment apart, however, is the unparalleled customer service. I had the pleasure of being assisted by Teresa Wessling, and "excellent" doesn't even begin to cover it. She is truly amazing; she made me feel like family rather than just another customer. I could not have been more pleased with the care and attention I received throughout my visit. For the aficionados, the selection here is top-tier. They boast what has to be the largest selection of Padrón cigars I've seen, covering everything from the classic lines to the most sought-after anniversaries. But don't leave without trying their exceptional house blend, the Caucus cigar. It is a standout smoke that holds its own against any major label. Whether you are a seasoned smoker or a curious newcomer, the hospitality and expertise here make it a world-class destination. Highly recommended!

Excellent service!!!!! Great selection of premium cigars…read more Great recommendation for local cigars (PG) Great prices on premium cigars. I finally made it into Georgetown Tobacco!!! I'm from NC but, I've visited DC countless times over the years and I have walked past GT plenty of times. On this trip to DC my wife and I were strictly shopping and relaxing so what better way to relax than to pick up a couple of cigars. I'm so glad we stopped in I was first being helped by a young man who did a wonderful job. After asking a couple of questions Teresa stepped in to give me a personal concierge experience that was outstanding she made recommendations and answered any questions I had. We shared some laughs and talked about the history of Georgetown Tobacco, I picked up some really good sticks that I can't wait to try out. I will definitely be stopping back in when I'm in town and I'll also purchase some online to get shipped to me.

i love this cigar shop! and the great thing is it is alone a cigar lounge!…read more i happened to be walking around downtown DC on a nice warm day and stroll on in i was immediately greeted by the store employee, who was this hawaiian looking dude. he happily showed me around the whole store, listening to my smoke preferences and using his own trials to help give me a bunch of suggestions. the cigar selection is pretty vast. I got some nice Brazilian ones and a new rocky patel that I hadn't tried before I think the other thing this place has going for it is a 'lounge feel', where they will essentially 'serve' you a cigar, which is nice, if you want to puff and relax overall, I think its a nice place. it is on the pricey side but the service is great the selection boasts a wide variety. plus its a nice and short walk to the white house ;)

At the moment, this is the oldest tobacconist shop in the nations's capital and the 3rd oldest continuously operating in the country. I was partly disappointed due to not carrying the cigar I was looking for (La Flor Dominicana Andalusian Bull) and there is no smoking allowed in the shop. There isn't a walk in humidor but several display cases of stogies throughout the place. A wide variety of pipes, magazines, accessories and tobacco products available. The service was good, prices are competitive and the place is well kept but the landlord needs to allow a smoke in a cigar lounge.
