This was possibly the best experience that I've had at a smoke shop. I called to see if they carry a brand of shishah that is difficult to find in this area, but no one answered; however, much to my surprise, I received a call back because they missed my call. This was an indication to the level of customer service that they provide. They carried the shishah I was looking for so I decided to make a stop. I walk in and am immediately greeted by Eli. He's assisting a customer as I look for the shishah but as soon as the customer leaves he gives me his full attention. The customer service gets even better. We're discussing other flavors of the shishah that I'm interested in and because I had never had them, Eli immediately opens the flavors I was interested in allowing me to smell before purchasing. I appreciated this because but many other smoke shops will do this if they don't already have a sample opened. He gave me his honest opinion on flavors and was very friendly and welcoming. Even though the shishah is more expensive than the location I go to in VA, the convenience and customer service made up for it. Eli was extremely helpful and even informed me about some other products in the store that I purchased and some that I will be returning to purchase. This is now my favorite smoke shop and I will definitely return. I highly recommend this location. It's small but they have a lot of quality products. read more

Customer service is always consistent. Additionally the location of Nomad is ideal, easy to get to and the shop stays well stocked with everything from cigars to shisha and whatever you might need for your smoking needs. I shopped prior to the pandemic for cigars as they have an in-store humidor but since purchasing a Hookah while in a stay-at-home posture, I'm thankful for the store Manager, Ely who is always terribly helpful and knowledgeable about everything from coals to keeping your hookah clean to shisha, etc. Ely is welcoming and always makes great suggestions for cigars to suit my palate as well as shisha and I most appreciate that he takes the time to answer all of my questions. I've watched him extend the same level of service to all customers of who he seemingly has great rapport. read more

This review is based on customer service. The customer service i experienced here was awesome! I worked with someone named Omar, and I forgot the other gentleman's name( I think Mike). One of them(again, not sure at the moment) really helped me with my purchase! I was having difficulty to get it working and he was friendly enough to let me come back for a replacement (without a receipt...I don't think they give those). These devices in general are questionable, it was $32 and I'm not sure how long it will last, but I'm hoping to get at least a good month. Lol Thanks again! read more

Really disappointed in how I was just treated at this establishment. I spent over $200 there and got home to find that some $8 pipe cleaner was missing. I paid in cash and wasn't given a receipt. I called the shop the next day and spoke to a gentleman that assured me that they would replace it on my next visit. He took my name and number and promised that I could pick it up with no problems at the desk. So, of course the story completely changed once I arrived to retrieve the missing item. I was treated with disrespect by the staff from the start. The gentleman working at 3:40pm on 1/5 was rude, aggressive and refused the refund or consider my request. His attitude was so negative that I just left. There are MANY other, more friendly and honest shops on H St that will at least honor their word. I highly recommend passing on this one. read more

This is an amazing shop. Honestly my favorite in all of DC. This shop has everything for vaping and for smoking. Everyone at this shop is so friendly. They go above and beyond.
