I was shocked that TH&V were open, but I also know I have shit luck, so I didn't expect them to have the coils I needed or a juice flavor I could tolerate. I was pleasantly surprised! They have a solid stock of juices, mods, coils, which included my beloved Cuttwood Sugar Drizzle in 3mg and Uwell Crown .5 coils. The clerk was an affable fellow that was happy that I was so happy/relieved and he even discounted my merch. While I maintain forever allegiant to Vape NOVA because they are the Pinball Wizards of Vape Shops/Customer Service, TH&V is now my go-to back up. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because I had a incredibly hard time understanding the clerk. In fact, I called in advance to determine if their stock met my needs and I couldn't decipher the answer so I drove there on a wing and a prayer.

More FALSE information from this place. On the mid afternoon of Friday 10/2/2026, I arrived to find…read morealmost all the shelves BARE of any vape products. The clerk told me it was because "The Governor signed a bill BANNING all vape products in Virginia." That didn't sound right. Why didn't I HEAR about this major ban on the news? Because it is FALSE: The new law signed requires VAPE shops to now REGISTER with the ABC agency for about $400, and to also REGISTER any products they are selling on a statewide LIST with the ABC board. Because this shop apparently did NEITHER, they were LEFT without a way to sell VAPE products, resulting in the clerk making up a FALSE excuse that Governor Spanberger had "banned vapes" all over the state. I don't appreciate being LIED to like that: Just admit that you did not file the proper PAPERWORK in time before the law took effect and were left "up the creek" without a paddle. Lying about "statewide bans" on "all VAPES" in Virginia is NOT cool: This is information that can be EASILY cross-checked via google. Please stop LYING to customers when they walk in the door. If you don't have stock available because YOU didn't file the proper paperwork and pay the proper licenses, just ADMIT it and move forward. No need to LIE to the customers

He treated me like a valued long-time customer from my first visit. He is very helpful and knowledgeable about vape juice, tanks, coils, mods, and batteries. Whenever I am running low on money to spend, he always has a clearance box he can pull out for me. I recently heard that they now carry CBD products, so I just called to digitized and he said they do. I will be going tomorrow to check that out and and I'll update with another review after that visit. I hope the brands are high quality and the price is a good value, as the other juices I have bought there are.

I know the guy that owns this place he also owns the one in Woodbridge I go all the time. This decide to tell me I'm still "barking" I'm not going to run "no show over here" when all I asked is why he asked me for my Id and why he wasn't asking anyone else. He then tried to rip my card out of the machine to prevent me from spending money here. At this point I'll have to file a complaint with the better business bureau and call the police to make sure they are aware this business isn't following the state law. I have had so many bad experiences at this location... it's crazy I'm still spending money there. This location has to be the worse. In my most recent visit they rushed me out the store as they were in such a hurry to close. The gentleman that manages this location sits usually and tells the other guy to do majority of the work. My issue with the other guy is that he doesn't pay attention last time I was in here he literally took 4 people in front of me while I was standing there I had to make it a point to ask him why I wasn't being assisted when I had been in the store for almost 20 minutes. This visit they don't even have the same stock. I know the owner of the Woodbridge one and he is SO nice and helpful. I can't spend money at this lovANYMORE ... moving forward I'll go to woodbridge or order offline

I recently decided to give the Kingstowne location of Old Virginia Tobacco another chance after not…read morevisiting for quite some time. Unfortunately, my experience reminded me exactly why I stopped patronizing this location in the first place. My previous experiences at this store were consistently disappointing due to the rude and unwelcoming treatment I received from certain employees. On numerous occasions, I would walk into the store and barely receive a greeting or acknowledgment. What made this even more frustrating was witnessing other customers walk in and receive a completely different level of service and attention. As a paying customer, no one should be made to feel unwelcome or that their business is not valued. Recently, I attended an LFD event at the Old Town Alexandria location, where the experience was night and day compared to Kingstowne. The employees were welcoming, professional, and helpful. The owner, who was extremely friendly and accommodating, mentioned that a highly anticipated new release would soon be available at all locations. With that information, I decided to visit the Kingstowne location to purchase the new release. Unfortunately, I was met with the same dismissive attitude I had experienced in the past. To make matters worse, the product was physically in the store, sitting on a shelf in an unopened shipment, yet the employees refused to sell it to me. I subsequently visited the Old Town Alexandria location, where I was able to purchase the exact same product without any issues. The difference in customer service between these two locations is remarkable, especially considering they operate under the same business name. I work hard for my money, and I refuse to continue spending it at a business where I am made to feel unwelcome, ignored, or treated differently from other customers. Customer service should be consistent and respectful, regardless of who walks through the door. It's unfortunate because I my experiences with the owner and the Old Town staff have been nothing but positive. However, the Kingstowne location has repeatedly failed to provide even the most basic level of customer service.
