Avoid: This VAPE shop is about to stop selling...VAPES. Yes, a VAPE shop that no longer sells VAPES…read more I was just there today less than an hour ago and noticed LOTS of empty shelves that almost looked like the store was closing, but just the vape shelves were empty. I asked the store attendee what was going on. He told me "they are getting rid of all the vapes." I asked, "so, this store is no longer going to sell vapes?". He said "Yes". It's a VAPE store - It's in the name. So, it appears pretty soon all they will be selling is analog tobacco and weed...or, um, that stuff they claim is "CBD" and "legal" or whatever but is actually just flat out weed. I'll just have to go back to buying my vapes online ...better prices & selection anyways.

I know the guy that owns this place he also owns the one in Woodbridge I go all the time. This decide to tell me I'm still "barking" I'm not going to run "no show over here" when all I asked is why he asked me for my Id and why he wasn't asking anyone else. He then tried to rip my card out of the machine to prevent me from spending money here. At this point I'll have to file a complaint with the better business bureau and call the police to make sure they are aware this business isn't following the state law. I have had so many bad experiences at this location... it's crazy I'm still spending money there. This location has to be the worse. In my most recent visit they rushed me out the store as they were in such a hurry to close. The gentleman that manages this location sits usually and tells the other guy to do majority of the work. My issue with the other guy is that he doesn't pay attention last time I was in here he literally took 4 people in front of me while I was standing there I had to make it a point to ask him why I wasn't being assisted when I had been in the store for almost 20 minutes. This visit they don't even have the same stock. I know the owner of the Woodbridge one and he is SO nice and helpful. I can't spend money at this lovANYMORE ... moving forward I'll go to woodbridge or order offline

They don't answer their phone so I guess they gotta take this L ‍they sold me a defective product…read moreand I'm trying to reach them to get info in the return, but I guess I have to go into the store to ask- which I don't want to do simply because if I go and there's nothing they can do for me, I'm going to be a little upset that I had to make the drive all the way over Edit: they finally answered- I'm calling bc my Smok Nord 2 has died where both pods started leaking (a common issue I've seen while reading many reviews) the attendant told me that I WAS THE REASON this device died- he said that the device will overheat when put in a pocket and it'll melt the plastic pod and cause it to leak. I asked him what device he would suggest and he basically told me if I had that problem w the Nord then I would have the same issue w every device. I've had pens w buttons on the outside before and I've NEVER had this issue. Lesson learned I'm never coming back to this store and I suggest you don't either. Edit 2: I've read plenty of reviews that say the same thing- the nord2 is just leaky in general- guess the attendant didn't know this and I should've done my research instead of taking the attendants word at the point of sale. So this guy at the store is completely out of pocket.

Yesterday I went in and started talking with the young man who owns the shop (I think). It's not easy being a Jewish person right now. Two days ago I got snarled at in Safeway when a woman spotted my Jewish star necklace. Not Safeway's fault. So, last night I asked this young man if he celebrated Ramadan to wish him a happy one. That turned into a 20-30 minute conversation full of knowledge, respect, decency, humanity and kindness. I'm really blown away! It gave me so much faith restored in humanity to have such a humane and respectful back and forth with another very decent person. Especially after the experience in Safeway. This store is the embodiment of what I love about Mount Vernon! Diversity and respect for it. Genuine kindness and respect. Support your local businesses and reward good humans. Go here!

I could not believe this guy had physically grabbed the lighter from my hand and was snapping at me and making fun of me for not filling it. I ended up leaving without my lighter (I think that's petty theft), shocked and dumbfounded.

Our visits here are usually no less than 30 minutes; the staff here are all amazing and funny to talk to. The manager, Johnathan, truly takes pride in everything they sell and put up in the shop. I wish I remembered the other staff members names as well, but they're all great. --The decorations, to what vapes they should or shouldn't sell- everything is truly carefully thought by their team. I wish people gave them more credit; they're genuinely trying to stand out from your typical "tobacco and vape" shop. I hope more people would give them the chance and recognition. If you haven't checked them out before, I highly recommend doing so!

House of Vape is right next to the K-International Market on the same block. I don't think you can miss it as they are within a few feet of each other. Upon entering you're asked for an ID check to buy things. I'm sure it's just something to have in place since they'd be liable if anything happens but it did not bother me. Their selection of Vapes are vast and the staff is very accommodating if you have any questions about purchasing a vape or if you wanted their take on said flavor/product, ect. This location features lots of cool anime figurines spread though all over the store giving it that the people here are just also nerds like us! I don't really buy much vapes but I am always pleasantly surprised whenever I see something with no nicotine. I don't really plan on getting a vape with one but it's nice there's an option for people who just wants to vape without getting addicted. I ended up getting the BC5000 EB Create Tropical Rinbo ( Tropical Rainbow ) flavor. It's ready to use right out of the box once you pull the tab and the silicone cover off. I highly recommend these products too. You also get reward points so very cool incentive to have a rewards system in check if you do end up buying from here often. I forgot to mention that there's tvs in the back and I'm sure it has enough space if you wanted to hang out with the staff or friends here! Check this place out! I get my vapes sometimes from here but never a dull experience for sure!
