The sales associate finally did after I'd been in the store for several minutes with a pointedly, exaggerated hello as well. I purchased a lovely Zimmerman dress from a boutique on Southport for my black tie event. Their service was wonderful. I am sure you know the one I am referring to. I won't be back to this boutique. That's a shame as I would have been an excellent customer . Never judge a book by their cover.

I saw through the window a display of brightly colored "readers" (magnification glasses for us oldsters) and I was so happy. So many different style frames with beautiful colors, and many with blue light glass which is what I needed as a gift for my cousin. They were kind enough to ship them securely and put a ribbon bow on for her birthday. She absolutely LOVED them. Also, I commend them for having a small, but diverse stock of 2.25 magnification. So many other stores jump from 2.00 to 2.50- or even just 3.00 mag. The whole store was clean, organized and looked like the definition of FUN! Will definitely comeback and look when I need a gift for someone (or myself).

Their markups are very high (as in higher than MSRP) for most of the items if you look up the brands website you can find it cheaper there, sometimes significantly so. But again, small business you gotta make money so for the most part I shrugged it off. Then I saw this cute neckerchief bar (very cool idea!) but noticed the scarves felt a little cheap. Googled it. They're from Amazon. These scarves are 48 for $25, roughly 50 cents each and they're selling them for 14.99! Feels extremely deceptive. I like coming to you guys for unique items from quality brands, not this. A 3,000% markup is nuts.

As soon as we walked inside Hazel, a friendly man behind the counter promptly greeted us.  I was impressed by the huge and well-curated collection of goods for all ages and styles.  Daughter was so excited to show me around as if it's her own store, lol.  On one wall was a huge display of greeting cards.  There were also jewelry, accessories, baby gifts, housewares, and gifts for men.  Prices were quite reasonable.  If you need a gift, there's really no excuse of not finding one to buy. We were there for 10 minutes having a great time browsing around, then my phone rang and I was told that our table was ready, so we hurried out without buying anything.  The friendly man behind the counter still politely said "thank you" to us! As now I read that they close at 7:00 pm during weekdays, I am even more impressed, because we actually stepped in the store 10 minutes before they closed, and they still welcomed us!  We will definitely be back!

We spent a few minutes looking at the clothes and other jewelry for sale and they had some really cute stuff, and prices seemed pretty reasonable especially for a small boutique. The highlight was definitely the woman who did our bracelets, she was so friendly and helpful and really made it a fun experience. They have a decently sized collection in both silver and gold, along with little charms you can add which I recommend! But I've followed on Instagram and they have some beautiful jewelry, and I love jewelry, so I stopped in today whilst waiting for my coffee order at The Coffee Studio to be ready. The staff were nice; I was greeted immediately upon entering. I did get there as they were opening, so it was just me and the three employees. I wandered around for ten minutes or so. They have some beautiful merchandise for sure, and work with local artists as well as those further afield for their jewelry (at the very least). They carry pieces from at least half a dozen artists. Most of it is gold, and I'm not a fan of gold but they had a few silver pieces that interested me and I may be back for. The clothing was a skip for me, since I'm not sure they carry anything above a size four or so. They also had some clips/hair bands/head bands, and why did I spend a ridiculous amount on these? Because they're beautiful, I guess. I think what originally brought WG to my attention is that they do permanent jewelry. I'm really intrigued by this so I've checked into the places I know do it in the city. WG has particularly beautiful chains, and they have a variety of charms from red which to choose (I like the mama one now that I can call myself that!). I need to look at price and confirm that this is where I want to do permanent jewelry... but I think I might be back for that. As a word to the wise, the employee told me that I could come and do it as a walk in, but they recommend appointments on the weekend because it can be very busy. There's nothing but street parking around here, and it's not in the busiest part of Andersonville where there's more parking. There's some street parking on the surrounding streets, and don't forget about Ashland or as far north as Victoria and whatnot up by Gethsemane, which also has a short metered portion.
