I was staying across the street from Fashion Island for a work trip and decided to get my ears repierced at Claire's. I haven't been into a Claire's shop in a very long time but it resembled almost exactly what I remember of it from when I was a kiddo/pre-teen. Lots of buy-one get-one options, fun accessories for all ages, and little gifty items. Not really my scene at this point in my life but I could see my niece loving this store much as I did 30 years ago. The ear piercing process was super easy. I picked out a pair of gold studs (they have specific earrings you have to buy for piercings), signed a bunch of electronic consent forms, and then she pierced my ears. It was a super easy process since my existing hole was identified and she went through the same spot. They gave me a cleanser to use 3x a day and some other aftercare instructions and I was done in less than 20 minutes. It's nearly a month later and everything is still great... no infections or problems. I would definitely recommend this Claire's for a basic ear lobe piercing within the first two holes. Otherwise it's probably best to head to a professional piercing shop for anything else. read more

It was truly the best decision ever. Yvette was so patient, honest, GREAT energy. She made sure our piercings were perfectly straight. I 1000% will be telling my friends to get their piercings done here. Especially by Yvette! Side note: when you get pierced, you pay for the earring and that's it. Looked all over for a place to pierce my 4 month baby girl and lucked out and found this specific Claire's! I was definitely hesitant to come to Claire's but Cristina made my husband and I feel very comfortable. Cristina was professional and was handling a busy store all by herself! She was amazing. Things to note: - Due to covid you need to make an appointment to get your ears pierced - They get pretty busy during the weekends so if you are trying to make an appointment I would recommend calling a few times till they answer or plan your ahead. - They have their own baby/toddler stud earrings to choose from and offer a complete package. For my specific package choice it cost about $120 with taxes. - Their earrings are sealed and unopened so rest assured it's safe and sanitized. - if you are taking an infant I recommend 2 adults to come! One to hold and one to keep the baby's attention and keep still from moving. - They sanitize before and after the war piercing and open and use the solution that is part of the package deal. - if you shop here already they offer 20% off your visit with the ear piercing! - Make sure to follow the cleaning instructions that are given after to prevent infection. - Don't forget to wear a mask! Yessi was amazing!! I took my 16 mo old daughter here to get her ears pierced earlier today and Yessi did such a wonderful job. She was really friendly and we were in and out in a jif. She quickly yet thoroughly explained which earring were recommended for younger children vs older, the ear piercing process and how best to hold my daughter while she pierced her ears and the after care recommendations. DONT GO. Yuri did a terrible job on my daughter's earring. It was totally off centered and when I told her it looks off she was like, oh it's just the marker when I made the target. The target was correct but she missed the mark...she pierced the side of the dot rather than the center. I took off the earring so it could close up and now I feel like the other one is also off. The hubs and I were in the mall visiting the Apple store when we walked by Claire's. It's a tween and teen dream-come-true, an explosion of all things pink, sparkly and feathered, plus they carry tons of cheapie earrings. I have been running around for the past year unable to wear earrings because I couldn't get an earring in one of my lobes since it closed up apparently. I walked in and asked if they do ear piercing and THEY DO! The sweet girl there probed my lobes and confirmed that yes, one of my piercings had closed up but the other one was ok. The price is the exact same to get one ear pierced or two. She quickly and painlessly re-pierced my lobe and I am one happy camper. I have to leave the earring in for three weeks and then I can take it out and put in my own earrings. I can't wait to start wearing earrings again! The last time I had my ears pierced I was 16 and my mother paid for it so I was just a bit shocked at the price. The total was about $75.00 because I picked out 14k gold posts for my earrings (I have to wear real gold or stainless steel since my ears itch if I wear cheapies) and I also bought another pair of earrings since they were on sale plus you get 20% off for getting your ear pierced. She sent me home with a bottle of lobe cleaning solution and instructions on how to clean my lobes. Verdict: Kind of pricey but I'm glad I finally had my lobe re-pierced. I've read all about how bad ear piercing guns are and it's b.s. In our teens my friends and I all had our ears pierced using piercing guns an I've never known one person who got an infection. Clean your lobes with alcohol three times a day, twist your earrings and you will be fine. read more

Cheap jewelry that has always caused me to have weird reactions, so typically I avoid this place like the plague. However, today my sister wanted to get her ears pierced, and with me being 18 I thought I would be able to take her. I was wrong, which is not at all why I'm writing this review. The woman working today (5/28) around 2:30pm was incredibly rude. My sister and I walked in and she stared at us, looking very annoyed. I approached her and said hello, which her response was "what do you want?" After telling her we wanted to get my sister's ears pierced, she asked to see my ID. I provided it and she handed it back saying with a smirk "The parent has to be here." I said oh, okay, I didn't know that and she just laughed at me, which is what upset me. It wasn't a joking or playful laugh, it was just rude and immature. We left with nothing except a bad experience. I work in customer service, and this is exactly how NOT to treat customers. read more
