No greeting, no acknowledgment of me at all even though I was the only one in the store. A few more ladies walked in (in name brand clothing) and were instantly greeted warmly. The two ladies working in the shop put items back on racks I was looking at and still did not acknowledge me at all (it's not as if they didn't see me, I nearly bumped into one of them). It was disheartening to see such blatant judgement assuming based on how I was dressed. I would have considered purchasing, but walked out because I don't want to support a place that treats customers as such.

Most recently, an order brought me in for a order online, pick up in store for free deal. For what I was looking for, Macy's had the best sale around (men's gym shorts, $11 Adidas. The ladies at the pick up counter were friendly and let me look through my bag to make sure I had the right thing. Hubs and I decided to walk around since we had time and overall, it seems like they have a lot to offer. Several clearance racks in all departments. I love the seasonal/home section(s) upstairs. They had all kinds of trinkets and cute gifts for cheap. We ended up buying more than what we intended, how can you pass up a good Martha Stewart dish sale? I'll keep Macy's on my list for small gifts but as far as clothes shopping, I'll probably stick to buying online and maybe just occasionally stopping in the store.

They sell candles (my fave), hair and body, hand soaps, laundry, men's products and sanitizers, body mist and more! I usually do online orders but when I shop the stores, this a the best location by far. I've been a fan for years and will stay one.

We were greeted by a wonderful lady who informed us of the new store policy due to the COVID-19. We were helped by Maxwell, he was very personable, helpful, engaging and provides good advice during our time in the store. I ended up buying new foundation that fits my summer skin tone, a primer, setting powder, eyeliner and mascara. It seemed pricey, but you are paying for the quality of the products you're buying. This happened a third time, no joke with a different brand, benefit. I put down the few items I had in my hand, didn't say a word to the lady, and walked out, never to return. This, friends, is why I'm starting to prefer Walgreens over these high end beauty stores. They want your money, but can't give you the convenience of keeping their shelves fully stocked.
