Their prices are honestly super cheap and is a really great buy. They even have some name brands they are somehow able to sell too, such as Express. The store was organized and clean, and Madison (I believe that was her name, if not it was something similar to that) checked me out and was very friendly, knowledgeable and signed me up for their rewards card as well. Be careful though, some of their clothing items seemed to not be as good of quality as I would expect (even from a discount store) and felt really thin and crappy. Some of their clothing though appeared to be very well made, and I did end up getting some, so we'll see how it lasts! I guess like most things it just depends on the brand they're selling. Overall, I'll be back. It's a good solid store with great deals, and nice employees and is worth checking out to see what they have on occasions, and I'd recommend them to just about anyone.

The line to the register was worse than Christmas. They had two registers working while I stood in…read moreline for 35 minutes, however, at the changing of the shifts, they went down to one cashier while the new girl signing in to a register proceeded to put hangers away for 15 minutes. I asked the manager, Sam, why. He said it was a safety issue and then HE questioned ME about what I could possibly see from a line. I asked to speak to someone else who might care and he pointed me to a phone number that was the store phone. The real manager is out on leave says the theft prevention guy. I am not sure who teaches a "sales manager" to dismiss a paying customer. Complete disrespect. The store is trashed and run by a bafoon starting at 4 pm weekdays. ​​

It was very inappropriate to shout that so everyone in the store could hear. Someone did let the coworker know that it was unwise to say something like that out loud for everyone to hear, and the girl worker who asked the question just rolled her eyes.

I need to dress professional, yet trendy, and feel good in the clothing I wear. I'm a huge fan of quality over quantity, so I have certain brands that I love...but don't put a huge DENT in my wallet...or more like hole in my purse hahaha. Greene Street to the rescue my lady friends! Sorry, gentleman. This is a girls only club. ;) Perhaps you can shop for your wife, girl friend, sister, daughter, etc., though :) Clothing selection is fantastic. I've gotten several skirts and tops and dresses here. Brands such as Ann Taylor, Ann Taylor the Loft, Lord and Taylor, J-Crew, Banana Republic, etc. Prices are unbeatable. I've gotten tops from 10 to 12 dollars and skirts from 10 to 20... all which you would find in the Loft for hmm 60 to 80 dollars. The price difference is unbelievable. The thing about consignment shops is DO NOT let the fact that this is used clothing prevent you from browsing. Most of the clothes look like they have never been worn. I get the feeling that many people purchase items, don't like them, never wear them, and in return off to the consignment shop to resell.... and in return people like me get them at great prices and look all fancy! tee hee! They have dressing rooms in the back. Nice and roomy. No one is pressuring you to hurry it up, so to speak. All unwanted items are placed neatly on the wrack outside... I never walk into a dressing room with clothes piled all over the floor. Dresses, skirts, tops, pants, are all organized in each isle, by size. Don't miss the clearance wrack!!!! Shoes and purses are also sold here! HUGE shoe selection... I haven't browsed it yet... next time! My only reason for 4, not 5 stars, is two things. One, the store is a bit small. It is located in downtown Lambertville, so the space isn't something that you can really blame Greene Street for. Also, if you are a larger person, it will be hard to find your size or anything at all. Most of the clothing range from XS to L, but even the large seems to be a medium. My mom isn't a very big woman but she has never found anything here. You really need to hunt for the larger sizes if they exist. Luckily, I'm short and I wear sizes from extra small, to small, and from 2-4. I'd say, if you are a size 0 to 8, you will definitely find some nice clothing here. The owners/staff are friendly, but not overwhelming friendly. That's also a meh. I have a favorite consignment shop closer to where I live and the owners are just fantastic. Don't get me wrong, the staff here is friendly. They just aren't warm and fuzzy. Overall, though, for a shopper such as myself, you can't beat the price for the quality of clothing. They earn 4 stars because that meet my needs and my wardrobe from this store is growing and LASTS! Quality. I've gotten so many compliments on skirts and stops from this place, too. I'll be back for sure, again! ha!
