I brought my 4 year old in the day she decided it was time to get her ears pierced. We live close to the boulevard mall, so we headed to Claire's around 11:30am on a Saturday.
At first I was nervous. There was only one young girl working, with another girl coming in at noon. One little girl was getting her ears pierced before us, one waiting to have hers done after us and shoppers that had to be cashed out in between. The young girl remained calm and aware of helping everyone.
She also surprised me with her knowledge and comfort in piercing the little girl's ears before us. I felt very comfortable at this point... and so did my daughter! She didn't move, flinch or cry. I was nervous since they had to be done one at a time, being there was only one "piercer". I was afraid the first would hurt and she wouldn't stick around for the second!
The girl piercing her ears was so friendly and sweet to my daughter it put us all at ease. My little girl is so happy and proud of herself. It couldn't have went better. But on a Saturday, I think two workers at all times is a must. Good thing the girl working knew how to stay composed under a stressful situation. read more
