As somebody who has been to a lot of liquor stores for work purposes, I have to say that this is a phenomenal store. First of all, it is massive. There is almost nothing they don't seem to have, so don't hesitate to check here first when you need something! It's also really tidy. Plus, you can find some unique home-made gifts for sale that you really won't find anywhere else! Then, there's the staff. Duff, Julie, and Shannon work on the floor and are great to be around. Julie is so sweet and kind and ALWAYS helpful. Shannon brings her sense of humor and warmth, and then there's Duff, who always keeps it real and seems to make everyone smile. Lindsey is the owner (alone with her husband), and she is so awesome. She clearly works hard to run a great business, is full of integrity, and makes the atmosphere a welcoming place for everybody. In this store, you can find a small community among the regulars and the people who run it. Plus, the area is great. You're right by a Fred Meyer and array of restaurants. Whether you're a resident in the area or just passing through, make sure to stop by and say hello. You'll always be in for a great shopping and customer service experience! read more

I hate to admit this, but I've been frequenting this adult beverage store for many years since I worked out this way. The staff has always been friendly, and happy to offer assistance and advice. Prices and selection is typical as this is state of Oregon run. They have several adult beverages in refrigerators along with soda and some mixers. Lastly, they carry one of my all time favorite cigars, Helix, at last I bought, $5.05 each. The smoke shop back towards home stopped carrying these so I'm thrilled to give this liquor store my business. read more

Big selection and they always seem to have the bottle that I can't find elsewhere in the area. They always have that bottle of falernum, absinthe, rhum agricole or whatever that I am looking for. Staff is friendly, approachable and available to assist. Great spot! read more

I love this liquor store!! It's small and tucked away in a strip mall across from the 82nd Dr. Fred Meyers. Because it is small, the owners and the workers know who you are and what you like. The current owners have owned the place for about a year now, I think, and Kevin and Lindsay have created a pleasant, warm environment for people to buy their favorite spirit. The ladies who work for them are also incredibly friendly and full of personality. Also, they have tastings of various liquors all of the time. Just a great place to go buy a bottle! read more

I find it kind of funny to watch Portlanders react (or should I say overreact) to a bit of adverse weather. As the snow begins to fall, the entire city seems to shut down, as schools close, business send workers home early and a universal sense of alarm grips the majority of Portland's inhabitants. I'm sure most of us are aware of this, but to many mid-westerners (and I know quite a few), we're considered to be winter wimps, snow sissies, frozen featherweights...weather weaklings if you will. When you think about it, this hackneyed belief that we can't seem to operate at any level of normalcy during these infrequent cold streaks is absurd. Yet, I find myself drinking from the frozen kool-aid of post snow panic, and embracing the simple joy that comes from stocking the pantry with food, gathering stacks of firewood from the wood pile and snuggling up with that special long legged hottie in front of a blazing fire on these cold brisk winter evenings. It almost reminds me of sick days as a child; you have no choice but to stay home, eat warm foods and rest on a make shift bed created from couch cushions as you lounge around watching countless hours of cartoons. All chores, errands and responsibilities put off until another day. So as the most recent round of winter weather descended on the city (or Artic Blast 2008 as deemed by the various news channels during their Storm Team coverage) I found the liquor cabinet to be in dire need of restocking. After a stop at Freddy's for food to sustain us during this cold stretch, the TLB and I made a quick stop at the Clackamas Liquor Store to pick up a few essentials for making adult beverages. I have to admit, that I am a sucker for the Holiday Liquor Packages...you know, the ones that contain a free martini glass, festive shot glass, additional liquor, small flask, or any other alcohol marketing swag. Well, this year's top holiday marketing choice was the Absolut vodka which is encased in a disco mirror ball Christmas decoration. I already knew that I'm a sucker for bright shinny things, but add adult beverages to the mix, and I'm an easy mark . The selection was not as great as other liquor stores, but all of the big names and required drink dignitaries were accounted for...Mr. Beam, Mr. Walker, Mr Daniels, Mr. Cuervo, Capt. Morgan, etc. We picked up a few of the basics, along with tonic water, bloody mary mix, olives and Tuaca to go along with hot apple cider. And while there was some disappointment in seeing the snow begin to turn to rain, and the white powdered landscape slowly turn into a gray dirty Slurpee, you certainly can't beat a night at home, with a hot blonde, canoodling in front of a fire whle drinking warm adult beverages. read more

Is it weird to review a liquor store? It's just such a nice change to get friendly, courteous service in a liquor store, rather than being scowlingly watched by a surly guy behind a shatterproof window. This liquor store isn't especially huge, but it has a decent selection and discounts on quite a few items. I found some fun things to try, like root beer liqueur. And, of course, because it's in Oregon, no sales tax! The cashier's eyes popped out a little when she saw how many bottles we had, but we explained, "We're from Washington," and she nodded wisely and went to get a box. They also have sodas and mixers, a few bar tools, fresh lemons and limes, and a selection of mini bottles (behind the counter). She checked our IDs and credit cards, verified the price of each item, double-checked to make sure we had all our bottles packed up correctly, and printed out duplicate receipts for our rebates, all without being prompted! I don't think I've ever had such friendly service... then again, we did buy an awful lot of booze. read more

I love the new remodel!!! This is the liquor store closest to my house so I come here often. The employees are super nice and always welcome you with a smile. Everything is laid out nice and it's easy to just walk in and find whatever you're looking for right away. This is my favorite liquor store! They got new extended hours too, so that's a plus! read more

These people are awful. Been 3 times. After every time I said to myself won't go again. This last time was the last if I have to drive 30 miles to the next closest store. My credit card says see ID. I showed them my ID. They said that wasn't good enough and told me I needed to sign my card right then and there or no sale. Who do they think they are? Don't ever go here, the people are rude and very small selection. read more
