Since I had never seen a shop like this in a mall, I had to stop in. The store was empty when I walked in and there were two guys holding the fort down. They were both really friendly and were full of great information about all the Eastside Distilling products. If you are of the legal drinking age you can have them poor samples of all the tasty booze. When I went in they had a potato vodka, whiskey, bourbon, and rum. I ended up sampling the coffee flavored rum; darn tasty! I walked out with a bottle of whiskey for the hubby per the recommendation I got from the staff. If you are planning on doing some shopping at Clackamas Town Center make sure to swing by the Eastside Distilling shop to sample some tasty local spirits. Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays they have tastings of both wine and spirits wear a curated selection is available to sample at the sample bar. At any time, you can ask for samples on many of their products - which is super helpful if you're trying to make up your mind about something new. Their app and website are up-to-date with the inventory, making it easy to see if they've got something in particular before you drive over. That's super handy, particularly if you're used to using the OLCC website for liquor stores in Portland. The store was recently closed for about three months due to damage to the building and while they're coming back, they are not at 100%. In particular as of early July 2025, their coolers are still unavailable and their beer stock is limited However, the staff is still amazing. The selection is great, and the prices are outstanding. I am big into wearing black and white and these are so unique! I also grabbed some amazing incense, some candy and I have started collecting clear glass bottles. I could not resist one for $1.99. That is the thing... their prices are so incredible for very quality things. I find great hair accessories, bath products, snacks, home décor... just wander around... you will find lots of things. The cashier also hooked me up with more discounts and a coupon. It is great that they actually care. I really appreciate that as a customer. But, pro tip is finding inspiration.
