So much art to look at, curiosities tucked in every corner, space to roam and explore! - Get the passport to make your stay even more rewarding and fun! I love the scavenger hunts and the stamps force you to do things you might not normally do on your own accord. - The full pitch and putt course is a relaxing and a fun way to spend a few hours. It was only $25 per person and took us 3 hours. - I signed up for the Makers Tour and highly recommend it! Lots of tastings and great historical facts along the way. - The soaking pools at night were perfect to relax muscles right before bed plus no kids after 8pm. - This hotel doesn't revolve around children. The movies that were showing were rated R and most of the pubs and pool hall are 21+. Kids are welcome - but I've never seen that many kids around which I like, personally. - It's very Dog Friendly!! - The live music is incredible. I've been here for big concerts on the lawn plus mini concerts down the winery hall. They were all amazing. - It can get noisy between 7-11pm especially in weekends! The building is old - not sure about insulation and things! Bring some earplugs, a positive attitude and maybe enjoy an extra drink! Or go during the week for a quieter experience. - The food is a bit pricey but if you are doing the passport it makes a little more sense. Some of my favorites are the Cajun Tots, Portland Dip, any Burger, and the Bagel and Lox Breakfast is Incredible!!!

I hope this is a short term gig for him as he was non-existent...which is what I expected. His lack of attentiveness to me was horrendous. Her side was a salad with ranch. I got the herb fries too. The wraps were dry (not enough sauce) and chewy (tough wrap). My jaw, at least, was tired after I ate both halves. The Buffalo had more flavor than the CBR. **Mom had her 2nd half for dinner tonight and she thought it tasted better. Mom liked the salad but thought the ranch was blah. French dressing wasn't an option. The herb shoestring fries stole the show. I preferred them without the dipping fry sauce. At 8:30 pm. she said, I wonder if there is a liquor store open? Some people laughed. I said, "Let's check YELP." After a few filter adjustments, boom. We found a store open till 10:00 pm. nice. It was nice to relax a little more at the lodge and not stress about getting to the store asap. After relaxing a little too long, we made it to the store just in time... and so did a bunch of other people rushing in as the last few minutes before closing wound down. The employees must be used to this happening as they were pleasant and polite the entire time. And now I have a new late night spot. It pays to use the YELP APP. It can really save you time.

They ran out of wine glasses and gave us short and thick water glasses for our wine. Overall a good experience.
