I will NEVER return to this store ever again. it was my favorite liquor store because the people are usually so nice and helpful, but today I went in and had the worst experience. a lady, whose name I did not get, but appeared to be older and had a gray bob cut, was assisting me at the register and denied my ID, claiming it was fake. I turned 21 almost an entire year ago and I have a valid ID. the lady was extremely rude to me and kept arguing with me about my ID. she didn't even have a valid reason as to why she thought it was fake, she just claimed so. she would not allow me to make a purchase, so I had to leave and go elsewhere. We live in Gladstone and our neighbor Steve actually works here. My boyfriend and I have been there several times but it wasn't until recently that I realized that they had a big walk in beer cooler! I love the selection at this location. They even have my favorite Peanut Butter Porter. I've never experienced bad customer service here either. read more

I used to like this store but there is an employee that wears a cowboy hat and makes inappropriate remarks to several people. He said to me "I'll bet your parents are proud of you". Well my dad is dead and I don't need to be reminded of that. I hope he leaves the store. I used to like this store until I met him. Updated Review. So my first visit was honestly brutal. After I had written my review and noticed how sad the Oregon Pinot Noir selection was. The Store Manager wrote me. Letting me know that they would pas my thoughts on to the wine person.... Did they do what they said they would? In spades, they did. Wow. So after all this, I make a journey in to see this new wine selection. Did it have Oregon wine from my favorite Willamette Valley AVA? Yes. Were there selections from the Dundee Hills Sub AVA? Yes. (My absolute favorite AVA) Were there any selections from California? No. Was I extremely happy? Yes! So I said, ok. You have my attention. Now. Will it last? I let a few more weeks go by before I wrote my review update. I wanted to see how this wine selection would hold up. Does it? Yes! Still a very awesome selection of local Oregon wine. Many from Willamette Valley AVA. I saw none from Cali. I don't even think I saw any Pinot from Washington State either. Next to California. Washington is the next juggernaut mega machine wine producer. Am I glad to not see labels marking how much money is being made for other states. Yes. As you can tell. I am on my way to being what only people who don't drink wine call me, A Wine Snob. I guess that is true in the sense that... I only drink Pinot Noir from Dundee Hills. Am a snob? Not really. There is so much junk out there. I had to start somewhere. Why not with wine that rivals France? Literally! So nevermind the amazing little wine selection here. Forget the many parking spots. Don't worry about how nice all the employees are. If I based my review only on the Bottled Beer selection. This would still be a great liquor store. If I only based my review on the Spirits. This would still be a great liquor store. But this liquor store has another gift. GROWLERS. Yup. This store has a Growler Station. Lots of yummy beer on tap just waiting for you. Samples too. Yup. So I am from Florida. Let's get that out of the way.... Went in good selection a-lot of options. I selected my purchase, I then go to the check out register. This is where the customer service went out the window. Now I will explain how I will never return here. I handed the old lady senior woman so I don't offend anyone, my purchase, she then looks at my card and scoffs ewe American Express really.... I then ask why is that a problem I have visa and MasterCard, she says to me they charge too much(more benefits for you but we pay more) For me this isn't my problem the establishment accepts amex.... I did politely tell her well this bottle would cost me $22.00 in Florida and cost me $41.00 here). She said I can't help we have more tax. Politely..... Bless your heart those in this area may not know what it means ( google it) maybe you shouldn't elect libitards I know you pay 20 cent more for a transaction. (Not my problem). My issue is paying over double price because of your tax here. Yes this went political because of I will call her old hag (because I can't say what I want to on this review. My suggestion to this establishment is to have the cashier be a cashier, keep your smug a$$ attitude to your self and shut your mouth do your job. Lots of selection at this liquor store they even have a growler station in the back with free samples from what I hear, I have not gone looking for a bottle and not been able to find it. I also have a selection of knickknacks and alcohol tools that are very unique. The staff there is also awesome, I cannot think of one of the people that I do not like. Very friendly and helpful! I give them four stars because they do not carry my type of cigarettes(Marlboro blacks), you would think with all the options they have that they might carry most of the popular ones. read more

The lady that helped me this evening was definitely not friendly and didn't seem to care when I asked if the tap list online was working and mentioned I wasn't able to view it. Her response to me was, obviously it is working because all those beers at the bottom of the screen signed up. She also told me to take a picture of the screen so I would know what was on tap. Above average selection and services, I was pleasantly surprised by the various selection of virtually everything, including hard to find items. Store is nice, clean, and organized. I was shopping at this liquor store when I witnessed a man come up to these girls calling them names, and being very disrespectful and beyond unprofessional. It actually shocked me. Despite the situation you should never call a customer names, cuss at them and but blatantly rude. He wasn't only rude to them but people who were with them as well.
