When you step out of the car you get an assault to your face. Makes you want to run in the store as soon as you open your car door. The thing that is most appealing about this location is the hours of operation. This one is open until ten at night most days. Pretty good when you need a last minute item in this area and dread the fact that the only other place you could stop is Wal Mart. Given the late hours, this place is usually busy. The only other thing nearby is a bank, asides from the cows that is. Located right off the highway makes it an easy place to find.

Prior to that anytime someone walked in or out of the building you'd often be hit with a gust of wind, depending on the weather. This was particularly unpleasant in the colder months for both the customer and employees. The improvements aside, when I went to check out today I found the employee at the check out to be incredibly rude. She had the phone up to her ear and was on what seemed to be a personal phone call. Never once during this time did she greet me or say anything besides have a nice day after I had already paid. Usually employees have a friendly greeting and will tell you what your total is. I realize I could just look at the register display to see the total, but the point is that I didn't feel acknowledged at all. This isn't a reflection of every employee there, but is something that reflects poorly upon their value of the customer.

And somehow, they are all busy. It's no surprise that they chose Belsano as a location for one of their stores. I know their plan is to open a location just about every five miles, or at least that was the plan. But in this area, it is getting ridiculous. I stopped here with my brother on a recent visit just to poke around and say that we were here. Of course we also were looking for snacks and drinks and in this area, there is nothing else to stop at for those. I missed my chance to turn in here coming the one way and had to do a weird turn further up the road and make my way into the parking lot. Surprisingly the inside of this location was rather well put together and stocked. I am going to chalk that up to this being a newer store with employees that aren't beat down just yet. We were able to find everything we needed, and made our way to the register to check out. Like most locations they have self checkout, but they aren't allowed to be used. So you have to stand in line for the one register open to get checked out. All in all, not a bad store, but it is still new. It will go through it's growing pains here shortly and probably fall in line with how the rest of the locations are currently running.

I honestly didn't have a reason to stop in here, but I thought why not since I was already right next door at another business. Like I had said, this is your local grocery store. So they do have items, but not necessarily a huge selection of items. It is amazing the items you will find in here. I wasn't sure what some of the brand names were, but they were marked at a decent price. Even though I didn't need the items that I picked up, I did end up getting a few. Basically items that I knew were something I would end up eating and they were priced at $1 or below. I ended up coming out of there with two bags of items that I didn't necessarily need. But it doesn't hurt to look, how else would I have known what was inside?

The shop part of this place is a bit small, but packed full of all that chocolate gold. You can kind of see in the back area a bit and see them busy at work making more chocolate to put on the floor. Their cases are stocked well with all your chocolate desire and fudge included. I wanted to take home more than what I did. To note, there are other items of candy in here as well that do not contain chocolate. Some have a nostalgic feel to them as they are hard to find.
