This location is cool in the fact the building actually looks like an igloo, yet designed also as a huge hot fudge sundae. The Igloo is really quite unique in they make their own waffle cones and ice cream sandwiches using either a chocolate cake, vanilla, oreo cookies or graham crackers, you choose the filling. If you do not want to fill an in house made waffle cone, they also have sugar cones, pretzel cones, chocolate chip cones and the traditional baked cake cones. They have thirty seven flavors to make a flurry, twenty nine plus to make a shake, twenty two varieties of sundaes, not including the banana split or the brownie boat split and what's an upsplit? They make smoothies, slushies, lattes, mochas, sno cones, ice cream sodas and ice cream floats. They will dip your cone in chocolate, peanut butter, blue raspberry, root beer or banana and then fill it with a nice selection of soft serve or homemade hand dipped ice cream in over thirty flavors. They also offer several lactose free hand dipped ice creams. For the frozen yogurt fans they offer a handful of flavors to choose from. The Igloo has two locations, one located in Everett and one in New Paris, really no more than a fifteen minute drive between the two of them. They are open seven days per week, including holidays, March thru October. I could very easily picture these igloos scattered all over the country.

We love this place. They have special soft serve flavors each week. My favorite is a peanut butter sundae made with chocolate ice cream. Man I love their PB sauce! Huge variety and large portions!

They had great service!

We stopped here on a road trip last week hoping to grab a nice treat. We were blown away! Not only is the adorable building shaped like an igloo and an ice cream sundae, the staff was so sweet and helpful and patient and the prices were low, low, low! There were so many delicious choices, we took some time deciding. You don't expect so many options at a tiny place like this. They had 27 options for Flurrys alone, including Grasshopper, Chocolate covered pretzel and Pop Rocks (which we got and I would highly recommend!) We could smell the yummy waffle cones they were making and everything we got was mouthwatering and unique. They have sundaes, splits, cones, soft-serve and even with the seemingly unlimited options they provide, you can still make your own! They even have chips and other snacks you can buy. The prices were unbelievable and with the amazing service we got, I felt like just the tip should have cost me as much as our whole tab. If I am ever in Pennsylvania again, I will be back for sure and I recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

The people are great and the ice cream/frozen yogurt are wonderful. I like that the special flavors change.

Lots of specials. You will not have a hard time finding something to eat here. This is your quintessential down home local place. It's just lovely. Diner vibes. The service is amazing! Such friendly and helpful staff. Server was very attentive. Didn't wait long for food at all. They do have a salad and soup bar that you can add to your meal for just $5.95. There's two types of soups, lots of salad fixings, dressings, salads (pasta & potato), and lots of dressing options. Great value for what you got. We ordered the Rueben with sweet potato fries and a cheesesteak (no bun) with sweet potato fries. The fries - YES! They are delicious. Grab a honey mustard off of the salad bar for them. The Rueben was huge! Took half of it home. It was amazing. The cheesesteak was just as tasty. Everything we ordered was pretty amazing. We were too stuffed for dessert but they have a lovely menu. They even serve local ice cream!!! The prices are absolutely a steal for what you are getting!!! So reasonably priced. You can tell that much love is poured into this place. Go!!!

We're from out of town so we weren't able to drive other to the other location instead. Soft and hard ice cream. A few different soft flavors, Perry's hard ice cream, and all your traditional accoutrements (like dips and sprinkles). They make their own waffle cones, so those were quite good. There's a drive-thru too, which I'm sure is especially nice for rainy days. The pretzel cone sounded good as a unique alternative and the tea-berry soft serve was quite good from the taste that I had. I think our total (for two waffle cones) was ~$10 and the soft serve twist had much less chocolate than vanilla in it.

The give a little more than The Cow does and charge a little less. http://www.yelp.com/biz/the-cow-alum-bank Both places serve the real deal and both are very good, the Cow offers food and the Igloo does not. They are open seven days per week, including holidays, March thru October. I had just eaten a large lunch and even had a people bag, but I felt it was my Yelp duty to stop and try their flavor of the day, which was a homemade hand dipped orange and pineapple ice cream, so fruity and creamy with chunks of pineapple throughout. I had to bite the ice cream to eat it because it was so chunky. Delicious stuff, my teeth hurt!
