They charged $160 for a diagnostic which would be fine except I gave them the report from AutoZone who had run a diagnostic hours prior. And typically when you do the work, a garage will then credit that diagnostic fee to the work being done. They charged $604 total after I protested about the spark plug parts cost. Originally they wanted $200 for the spark plugs part. After protesting, they charged $176 for the Spark Plugs (parts) alone. $240 for the labor and $160 to diagnose something that was already diagnosed. When I told them the max fee for spark plus is $50, (I'm ok with companies marking-up costs but not at over 240%), they gave me $40 off. Still an astronomic cost for changing spark plugs, especially in Tucson. They did give me my car back in 1 day though, which I appreciated.

This fuse being damaged caused many issues including my entire dash to stop working (no lights, no speedometer, no radio) and my right headlight and tail light both stopped working as well. My car also seemed to have transmission issues, it would accelerate very slowly and every time I shifted from "reverse" to "drive" the whole car would jump forward. I had gotten in a minor car accident maybe 2 weeks prior to the fuse blowing so i was not sure which incident caused all these problems. I brought my car to Scott, an incredibly kind and sociable man, and he called me to tell me my car was ready to go about 26 hours after I had left my car with him. I only expected my front and rear lights to be fixed and maybe my radio as well. Nope - my car is running better than ever (must not have been transmission issues but rather electrical) and he even did his best to fix the cosmetic damage from the accident. Worked out a couple of dents and removed a damaged wheel well as he stated it would have damaged my tire should I continue to drive with it. 5+ stars!!
