Brought my sister and our kiddos here to play a few times over the last couple of weeks (ages 7, 2.5, 1.5, and 4 months.) Two areas for playing- one side for toddlers and the other for older kids who can climb without needing help. There is a basketball court, pavilion, restrooms, plenty of sitting areas and benches. The park as a little creek running through it with 2 bridges on either end, and a walking path that encircles the whole thing. The creek isn't very deep, maybe knee high? So no scary situations if you let your little one wander around it. My oldest (7) spent the majority of his time at the creek playing with rocks and sticks. (Nature lover at heart ) Perfect little park for strolling through a nice park and letting kiddos run around, or having a little picnic on a sunny day!

Do watch out for geese/duck poo as it is everywhere around the pond. Small price to pay for the opportunity to come face to face with a mama duck and her little ducklings. Dragonflies will fly right on up to your nose and turtles will wink at you from their log perches in the pond. Parking is free and there are bikes for rent, too. I saw several groups playing disc golf and there appear to be 18 basket targets. The tee off signs include memorials for various wars as well. A pavilion with fourteen picnic tables that seat eight each can accommodate at least a hundred people. There are four small grills as well. The children's playground has both baby and regular swings, slides, and plenty of areas to climb and burn off energy. A butterfly garden displays lots of butterfly-friendly plants and some small water features. There are several chairs to sit and enjoy the butterflies. Overall, it's a beautiful, quiet park with plenty of space to either play or relax and reflect.
