The trail is mostly flat with just a few small hills, so it feels very accessible for people of all ages and fitness levels. The views of the lake are beautiful, and the bridges you get to walk or run over add a really nice touch. I went in January when it was cooler, and it was not crowded at all, super peaceful and relaxing. Parking was free, which is always a win, and there are bathrooms and a water bottle refill station on site. There's also a park ranger station and a boardwalk that goes out to the lake (though it was closed when I went). Other visitors mentioned they sometimes see wild turkeys and other animals along the trail. No wildlife sightings for me this time, but still an amazing experience. If you're looking for a scenic, low-stress running or walking spot, this place is absolutely worth a visit!

It felt clean, welcoming, and super safe! So happy we found this park. The only thing we wish it also had were trash cans along the path to dispose of dog bags. We would also love if they would add a couple water fountains along the path for dogs to drink out of! They've had this at some other parks we've been to and we really appreciated it. The park, while aptly named Antioch Park, is just as much a community center, if not more so, than park. It features a center that offers meeting, function and activity space, along with outdoor courts and other areas. I was not here for any of that, as I was after the trails, which the park does offer as well. The trails are minimal here, but are solid for a good walk. As with most Nashville metro parks, the trails take you through nature and are surrounded by woods and all that good stuff. Overall, I am not in the area often, but glad I got to check Antioch Park off my "walking trail" list!

We need a place to escape the asphalt and steel of the world that we created and retreat back to the world as we as a species found it. We need these plots of unblemished nature. The walking path takes you around the playground and through a beautiful little nature preserve. It isn't a really long walk but the vegetation and wildlife are pretty. We've seen deer, squirrels, frogs, birds, snakes and more. The restrooms are always clean and stocked. The lawn area is always well manicured. The reason we gave four stars is that after a rain, there are a couple areas on the walking path that are covered with water. They are very slippery. It would be nice if they maybe raised the concrete or created a slight bridge in those areas.

I even came across a deer in my wandering. It's always cool to see nature up close and personal. I would definitely recommend this park, whether you are just looking to walk around or have a bicycle.
