this was one of the worst experiences I've had eating out, avoid this place. I asked for my burger well done with no pink as did another member of my party who is pregnant, I ordered a triple burger an she ordered a single, they both came bloody, she had taken a bit from hers, they were sent back, the same burgers came back 15 mins later, still pink, I picked mine up an it had a bite or of it, they had given me hers but 2 more patties on it an given her mine! at this point we had enough we didn't eat it, one member ordered chicken, they liked it they ate there's an ordered a creme brûlée in the time we were waiting for ours to come back initially, they were told after 20 mins they didn't have any. I believe the owner didn't want to send it because of the burger issue, the owner appears to be the cook, she came out an asked why we didn't eat the burgers an we told her they were still pink after two tries of cooking it, she said they weren't pink an then proceed to cut one up in front of us, an it was indeed pink ! she then walked off, we asked for the bill 30 mins later it hadn't come so we asked again and were eventually given it, keeping in mind we had a 4 year old, a pregnant woman and an 89 year old who can barely walk 18 steps without a wheelchair, this was ten o clock at night and we had just arrived from a long journey, they charged us in full then I went to ask about being charged for the burgers an she said we aren't McDonald's, I chose not to tell her that McDonald's can cook a burger, I informed her that I asked for well done with no pink as did the pregnant woman an she said they were well done, an I pointed out they were clearly pink, if someone would have informed us that she wasn't able to cook a burger until it was no longer pink then we would have ordered something else. she then told me that I was trying to get out of paying the whole bill, I said I'm just not paying for what we didn't eat, an she started being aggressive again an shouting like I'd stole something from her an pretty much told me to get out, so I put some money on the table an we all left, this was a bad experience. I would recommend not going here. it was actually massively over priced, I'm not sure they can call themselves a gourmet burger place when they can't cook it to your liking. she d said that the pregnant lady not eating hers was fine but I should have eaten mine. I explained to her that before it came to her the waitress took my order an confirmed it could be cooked to my liking which was no pink, an she didn't send it that way. the food was bad the service was far worse. read more
