This store is convenient, and they were helpful with things like Covid tests once upon a time. And…read moreeveryone who works here is friendly. But at the end of the day I'm fed up with all the chain drugstores, and wish they'd go away. Give the real estate to some independent stores who care, and who will give the neighborhood some character. Today I walked out without buying anything, because I couldn't believe just how stupid the place was. I needed a bottle of mulivitamins, and a pack of 9-volt batteries. What could be simpler, right? Every single multivitamin on the shelves was gummies. Basically enriched candy for toddlers. Maybe you have customers who demand this, but come on. How about some regular tablets for people who don't have stunted mental development? Same complaint goes to Hollywood: stop making comic book movies for grownups. But I digress. With the batteries, the price listed (which was reasonable but not remarkable) turned out to only be available if you register a phone number so they can track you. Otherwise they charge double. What astonishing arrogance. The answer is no. I walked out empty-handed, and found the batteries online for half of Right Aid's DISCOUNTED price. Management: if you treat your customers like manipulable children, the only customers you'll keep are manipulable children. I'm out. Ok, back to shaking fist at clouds.

I worked as a manager for several years and it always made my associates happy whenever they were recognized by a customer. I came into the store to grab two things, there was only one cashier, her name was Shanice I believe! She was calm, patient and very nice! She was getting the line down without making any of the customers feel rushed! The store was stocked, neat, and I was able to find what I needed! Great experience!!

I recently had a dreadful experience at the Main Street CVS…read more I was informed that my meds would be available for pickup and, wanting to get them before the huge snowstorm, hustled over there. At the sign-in counter the screen said, "No prescriptions available." The young woman at the counter told me it was an insurance issue and to check with someone else. That staff member informed me that "someone had already picked up my script." I knew I hadn't sleepwalked to CVS earlier that day so I was truly baffled. After being told a dozen times I had already picked up my meds, or someone had, I was almost in tears. It was surreal. Someone else told me they had to "run the CCTV footage" to determine if I--or "someone"--had been there an hour prior, stealing my rash cream and antidepressants. I left the store to give them a chance to watch their footage. I returned a few hours later, only to be told "I had already picked up my meds." I found myself saying to basically the whole pharmacy, "I'm the one with the rash! No one wants my rash cream!" Finally, they agreed to hand over my meds. Nightmare.

The drive-thru is now closed with no explanation, and the staff inside is unfriendly and unhelpful. I went to update my insurance and spoke with the pharmacy manager, Sam. He seemed overwhelmed and stressed, and while I understand it was busy, his behavior was unprofessional. There was suddenly a large charge on my prescription that I've never had before. Instead of helping, he told me he couldn't and tried to rush me away. I called my insurance from the store, and they needed to speak with him because he had information only the pharmacist could provide. He told them he didn't have it and hung up. When they called back, he was rude and hung up again. I transferred my prescription to another CVS and had zero issues. This location has gone downhill, and my experience with Sam was especially disappointing. I won't be returning.
