I recently had a dreadful experience at the Main Street CVS. I was informed that my meds would be available for pickup and, wanting to get them before the huge snowstorm, hustled over there. At the sign-in counter the screen said, "No prescriptions available." The young woman at the counter told me it was an insurance issue and to check with someone else. That staff member informed me that "someone had already picked up my script." I knew I hadn't sleepwalked to CVS earlier that day so I was truly baffled. After being told a dozen times I had already picked up my meds, or someone had, I was almost in tears. It was surreal. Someone else told me they had to "run the CCTV footage" to determine if I--or "someone"--had been there an hour prior, stealing my rash cream and antidepressants. I left the store to give them a chance to watch their footage. I returned a few hours later, only to be told "I had already picked up my meds." I found myself saying to basically the whole pharmacy, "I'm the one with the rash! No one wants my rash cream!" Finally, they agreed to hand over my meds. Nightmare. read more

I've been using this CVS for about two years and it was fine until recently. Unfortunately, the service has gone downhill. The drive-thru is now closed with no explanation, and the staff inside is unfriendly and unhelpful. I went to update my insurance and spoke with the pharmacy manager, Sam. He seemed overwhelmed and stressed, and while I understand it was busy, his behavior was unprofessional. There was suddenly a large charge on my prescription that I've never had before. Instead of helping, he told me he couldn't and tried to rush me away. I called my insurance from the store, and they needed to speak with him because he had information only the pharmacist could provide. He told them he didn't have it and hung up. When they called back, he was rude and hung up again. I transferred my prescription to another CVS and had zero issues. This location has gone downhill, and my experience with Sam was especially disappointing. I won't be returning. read more

Ever since Rite Aid closed down, this has been my go-to pharmacy. The whole store team including the staff, pharmacists, even those that help at the drive-thru are great at what they do. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Depending on the time of day, the store traffic varies, which could affect wait times. read more

I've been sitting in the pharmacy drive thru for 40 minutes. everyone keeps walking by ignoring me. I was told 1 hour ago inside my prescription would be ready in 15 minutes and they said I could go through the drive thru to pick it up. very rude staff here. the DM needs to come get this place straightened out ASAP before they end up like rite aid. read more

The pharmacy at this location is an absolute nightmare. The drive-thru is always closed without reason, no one greets you or says they'll be right with you while they let you stand there waiting. Of the 5+ times I've called and left a message regarding questions on my Rxs, I've never received a call back - not once. On more than one occasion, I've had issues with my prescriptions being filled correctly and on time. When you address an issue, the staff is egregiously unprofessional - they allow a culture where they will roll their eyes and get into verbal disputes with customers. Do bother ever come here!Just leaving this store now. As a 37-year-old African American woman, I am disheartened to share my experience at this store today. I encountered blatant racism that should not be tolerated in 2024. The older white female employee in the pink shirt, along with another older, white heavy-set female employee who was wearing glasses, consistently watched me with suspicion, as if I were about to steal something. Their behavior escalated to the point where they followed me around the store, prompting me to leave in frustration. In stark contrast, I noticed that they ignored other white customers, including one who appeared to be attempting to steal, a young 19-year-old. Covid- testing review only: Drive-thru was very easy and efficient. I booked my test the day before, drove up and waited about 5 minutes for the car in front of me. The employee was very friendly, gave great instruction and the process couldn't be easier. They give you wipes to wipe down the container you place the specimen in as well. I visited this location on both 5/16/19 and 5/17/19 and the sales associate by the name of Bernarnd was an absolute angel! I was in the store on 5/16/19 for well over an hour trying to figure out why my cell phone was not configuring correctly with the photo machine I asked Bernarnd about 10 questions maybe more and he was very patient with me, he rebooted the photo-computer to try to reset the system. Bernarnd also checked in on me frequently to see how my process was going with the prints. Bernard helped me out to the best of his ability and if it was something he wasn't sure of, he went and got help from a fellow colleague I think her name was "Sue". Ms. Sue was also very patient and heard me out about my trouble shooting issues and tried to assist me as well. At the register The cashier Daekwon tried to assist me with my groupon that wasn't scanning properly. He tried scanning it a few different times and even retrieved help from the store manager. The store manager tried to get my groupon to work but was unsuccessful as well and just politely asked me to contact groupon to see what was going with the malfunction. So I would like to thank The manager and Daekwon as well for simply being patient with me :) All in all, this is a great team here at this location and I would like to again thank Bernarnd for being ever-so-patient with me. I truly appreciated it! The main issue that I was having was all in the app. All-in-all my phone pictures were not loading on to the photo-lab-computer and even when I tried to use the cvs app I had issues, so I ended up having to go home and print the extra pictures that I need from My computer. read more

The pharmacy never has prescriptions ready at the promised time. I filled a prescription and was promised it at 2:45. It wasn't done at 5:30, and now I'll have to make an additional trip (with no guarantee that it will be ready if I wait another hour). This has happened multiple times and they blame being "busy." The general staff is friendly and helpful, but the prescription situation is ridiculous and frustrating. read more

Ridiculous and incompetent. Some of the lower-level staff are friendly enough, but that dissipates quickly further up the chain. Watched one of the pharmacists unintentionally intimidate a woman out of getting a flu shot, overtalking & failing to check her social cues. Phone is frequently left unanswered. Was just on hold for over twenty minutes. I fell asleep with the phone at my ear. And don't ever put my crap on autofill. read more

Logistically the worst testing place. It seems CVS decided to piss of customers while waiting in their cars to be tested. Why have appointment times when you sit in your car for an hour PAST your scheduled time? I should have gone to the places my family got tested instead. Maybe a dark alley somewhere would be more efficient than this place. I think by the time I get tested the 14 day quarantine will be over. read more

I love the personnel at this pharmacy(when I am in person). However, today, the staff left me only for 30 minutes. I was trying to order a refill, but I was MADE to contact the pharmacy and could not order online. It is enraging that one can be made to wait 30 minutes at the beginning of the pharmacy day. This is especially stressful for the elderly(me) and the handicapped.The pharmacists are very kind, but it appears that the company does not care that people wait on hold. Just went in to get my first Shingrix shot today in the Freemansburg ave., Easton Pa store, 8-14-2021 4 employees were behind the pharmacy counter, 2 had full mask protection, (Thank goodness the pharmacist did) - 2 did not. A young man with a mustache was filling prescription and instead of using his facemask properly, he used is as a chin strap. NO MASK !!! Touching the pills with his bare hands. The older woman working there only had her mouth covered but not her nose. Sorry, I am not going to get any of my pills from them any more. read more

The service and attitude from the pharmacy techs is absolutely horrible. They're very rude and you can tell that most of them do not enjoy their jobs. The exception is Jesse. He's such a nice pharmacist and will always take time to answer your questions, even when he's busy. It's a shame that because of everyone else there, that I'm moving to another pharmacy. read more

The staff at this pharmacy are great. Jesse really went out of his way to be friendly and helpful. When people are going to the pharmacy, it's usually because something's already going wrong. This CVS Pharmacy lost my prescription twice. They were insinuating that I never dropped it off but I receive text messages from CVS on prescription updates. Text messages from CVS says my prescription is ready to be picked up but when I arrived, they claim I never dropped off a prescription so it was never filled. I showed them the CVS text messages and they were baffled. I was told they would go through "a pile of prescriptions" to look for mine and they will reach out to me. Needles to say, I'm going to try another CVS Pharmacy. Let this serve as a warning how terribly disorganized this pharmacy is. read more

Jesse is the best pharmacist hands down. Cvs under staffs the pharmacy in general and Jesse steps up to the plate any time I am there. He not only fills the prescriptions you'll find him answering the phones and checking patrons out when the line grows too long. My wife stopped at this CVS this morning to pick me up some remedies for an excruciating sinus infection I have. Upon walking up to the front door (at 8:00am - when they open) a worker from inside the building came up and locked the door so she couldn't enter. My wife, in dire need to come to my aide left and drove to a CVS several miles away. This caused us great inconvenience and myself an extended amount of discomfort unnecessarily. Also, I'd like to point out that this pharmacy never contacts me when my prescription has been refilled. CVS is one of the things in this world we look to for reliable support in our times of need. This is my new CVS since moving to East Falls. Any employee I've ever interacted with has been nice, and the pharmacy folks are very helpful and will go out of their way for you. In the past, CVS pharmacies annoyed me even just thinking about having to go. Sometimes they'll be out of a certain shade of makeup I typically buy, but usually they have everything. Unexpected bonus? There is ALWAYS a sale on nuts here. This is where I consistently buy my raw almond stockpile. Sometimes there's even a sale on Starbucks coffee. read more

On two occasions he contacted my physician to let them know what area CVS has what I need so they can call it in to that store. This type of dedication and commitment to customer satisfaction doesn't happen very often. i have used CVS 795 Baltimore Pk. for 18 years, before I moved to Conshohocken. I told the Springfield staff that I would not be using their store any longer. I started going to a nearby CVS. No problems with the store. Staff are wonderful. But, that incessant Robo caller, calls me, texts me etc. I go to see what my CVS has for me, and it's from the Springfield store. Why? I told them I transferred to CVS in Conshy. Just called again, and they can't help. Customer service reps are rude! I am livid. I am so sick of the robo calls. I am on hold to complain and hopefully stop these calls but all I get is music. I must have listened to an album already. I'm not hanging up though. If this isn't resolved I will notify Atty General's office of consumer affairs, charging harassment. Sick of the entire thing!! I star is too high. read more

Customer service is NOT this stores strength! Very poor experience with the passport photo service where the store made a mistake in billing (billed for 2 4x6 photos instead of 4 extra passport photos) for the 6 photo's I needed. I was put the wringer about their mistake. In the end the store manager told me the picture had been deleted and I would have to purchase another set of photo's if I was to a get the 6 photo's I needed! Extremely poor service ..... Rite aid on Ridge resolved the issue and laughed at the service provided by the CVS. read more

There have been 2 pharmacists at this location since I started coming here to fill a monthly prescription 5+ years ago. When Jesse is there he is friendly, professional and very quickly fills prescriptions (usually about 5-10 minutes unless they are backed up). Since I've been going to the pharmacy, my prescription has been out of stock only once when he was working. When Steven is there, he has filled my prescription a total of 3 times. Every other time he has told me that they are out of stock and to come back in 3 or 4 days. I usually just go to a different pharmacy, but have on occasion gone back later in the same day or the next day and it was magically already back in stock. I'm pretty seriously considering reporting him at this point. read more

I have been going to this particular CVS since I moved to Philly in '06. It's very convenient to get to from my home. The staff are all very nice, helpful etc. But this review is specific to the pharmacy. I use the pharmacy often and never had a problem up until recently. There are two Pharmacists. Jesse, is GREAT!! He is most helpful, and will go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. But, the other pharmacist (I'm not sure of his name, he is an older black male) is not only incredibly rude, (I had a chat with another customer who had the same experience with this guy) but apparently does not know how to count. I have, on multiple occasions have been shorted on my medications!!!! After the first time of being shorted and complaining, he basically called me a liar. Now, when he is there I stand at the counter and count every last pill. The first time I did it, again, short. When I complained he again, basically called me a liar, took the bottle from me, "counted" it, then handed to back to me and said "see, it's correct" (yeah, after he had to take it behind the counter to fix!!) either he can't count, and gets very upset when called out on it, OR he is skimming people's meds. Either way, it's disconcerting. If you have the unfortunate opportunity to have this man as your pharmacist COUNT YOUR MEDS!!! (right then and there at the counter)!!!! Jesse has been spot on, and extremely polite every time. I took down Jesse's hours and only come in when he is working. It's annoying that I have limited hours to do my shopping now but it has been a better experience this way. I wouldn't be surprised if this other pharmacist does not last long there. Here's hoping. I hope this helps someone out there. Healthcare/ meds are expensive (if you don't have insurance) and necessary to live! And when you don't have your required dosages because of a pharmacist mess up and they don't make it right? It's incredibly WRONG! Again, I cannot say enough about Jesse, but this other guy just isn't right. read more
