This time, it was on the eve of the famous Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show, so the beer garden was full of lively sewists enjoying some brews and live music. They had a couple of food trucks on-site, too, although the lines were long so I just enjoyed a beer (or two) and went on my merry way. The staff here were friendly, and the beer-on-tap selection, while not huge, had plenty of variety and I was able to find a nice, cold amber ale that I enjoyed immensely in the warm summer hear. Bonus: if you need some bike supplies, they've got those too!

The vibe is always welcoming and fun, and the food carts on-site are consistently delicious. Plus, the Eurosport staff serve up great beverages with genuine friendliness. Yes, they do rent and sell bikes (and do it well). We've purchased a bike from them that we absolutely love, and they've also helped us get one of our older bikes road-ready again. Their service is knowledgeable, thorough, and never pushy. Honestly, even if you're not a cyclist, Eurosport is still worth a visit. Between the entertainment, food, drinks, and awesome community atmosphere, there's something here for everyone. Highly recommend checking it out!

Tiger Town Brewing was on my list for breweries to try for a long time. So when we went to the area…read moreto see the Painted Hills we made sure to stop here for lunch and to try their beers. I will get to the beers first. We tasted several different ones and unfortunately we didn't feel very impressed. Some of the beers had an odd aftertaste to them. But in the end we settled on the Tokyo Chad. This was a Japanese Rice Lager and we liked this beer relatively well. Not the best Japanese Lager we have ever come across but it was okay. Flavor features in this beer is biscuity and grainy. What we liked best about Tiger Town was the food. I got their cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese and their Sidewinder Fries (similar to French Fries only curvy) were excellent. Everything with the meal tasted good and fresh. The atmosphere is fun and has some quirks going on with it mainly with the pictures they have hung up in the dining area. Staff was very good. They were attentive and very friendly and cheerful to interact with. If we are back in the area we would certainly come here for the food again as we were very impressed with it. We just weren't too terribly wild about the beer.

Update review. We keep getting a male server who is stressed out and impatient. Makes us feel…read morerushed. Acts like he's a great waiter and like we're unworthy customers. He sweats and pushes us to order and eat fast, doing that waiter thing when they pretend they are not rushing you. "Just checking if you need that plate taken away." Not fooling anyone. Brusque to my brother who is into fine wines and requested tastes of some by-the-glass wines before committing to a glass or a bottle. My wife stated she is uncomfortable around the server. We don't go to the Open Door much now. Old review. A real romantic spot. Great drinks. My wife loves it. Sitting outside is best but the bar is good too. Some nights they put tables in the art gallery out front and you sit around the paintings and jewelry, kind of fun. There used to be a waitress named Kristen or Kirsten, a lady with long hair and clogs, the best server I've ever had and I don't just mean in Central Oregon. The Open Door is the probably the best dining experience in Sisters. Living in Tumalo and working throughout Oregon, I go to Sisters often. Unfortunately Sisters isn't a great town for food. The Open Door has some very-good food, and some pretty-good food. You never know which it's going to be. The halibut, meatballs, and lasagnas are solid. Berries and cream dessert is great. The menu doesn't change much over the years. If my wife didn't love it I wouldn't go back so often. Get bored eating the same dishes over and over. When my brother and his grown kids visit they like the atmosphere, especially those small houses outside with the plants. However they have trouble finding a selection that works for their way of eating, allergies, one is vegan and one is lactose intolerant.

Since moving out of Oregon, we haven't been able to make it back as often as we'd like, but I've never forgotten that first visit -- meeting the owner, falling in love with their hot seasoning spice (which they gifted me to take home!), and becoming obsessed with the homemade chili oil. Last night (11/20/25), we finally returned, and I'm happy to say the food is still just as wonderful. The flavors were exactly as we remembered. Our favorites this time were the Shapta and the Chau Chau -- both absolutely delicious. We ordered and shared everything family-style: * Momos - handmade dumplings * Shapta - beef dish * Chau Chau - noodle dish * Masu Bhat - chicken curry Most dishes came with a small side salad and jasmine rice. The ordering process is casual and easy: place your order at the counter, grab a table, and they'll buzz you when the food is ready. The staff then brings everything right to your table. The ambience is warm, inviting, and cozy. Even though it was 32° outside, they still had a wood fire going, which made for such a pretty and welcoming touch. High Camp continues to be a gem in Sisters -- absolutely worth the visit every time.
