One of the climbing harnesses that I liked

This review is based on a couple visits. Very convenient location: This store is located on the corner of Smith Rock Way, which leads to the birthplace of modern American sport climbing, Smith Rock. They carry the hard to find all leather full finger rappelling gloves made by Metolius, an Oregon-based company. I called several stores in and around Bend. Only this store had them in stock that day. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff: During my visits they thoroughly answered my questions and gave recommendations. Please give a raise to both Lee and Kyle and promote them :) GREAT cold brew and other brews, great caffeine source for long road trips. Lots of parking. If you're looking for quality climbing gear, I highly recommend this place.

Great place for gear, beer, coffee, and to relax and hang out. They have about 15 beers on tap. Best place in Terrebonne hands down!

Coffee, beer, and climbing gear - what more could you need? Also great atmosphere and always good conversation to be had.

I was here with my family and this was one of the best meals of the trip. Now, I was here a few…read moremonths ago, but I only recently downloaded yelp. As a celiac, I made so that they have a dedicated fryer for their fries/tater tots, and they did, so naturally I had to get those. I decided on the sweet potato tots and they were just delectable. I was also craving something fresh, so I got the BBQ Chicken bacon ranch salad. Perfect meal after driving for hours on end. We even came back the next day and I got the exact same meal. The servers were also very patient and knowledgeable. I don't live anywhere near here, but whenever I come back to the area I'll be sure to return to this restaurant.

Yelp led us to this spot and at first glance from the outside I thought we were walking in to an…read moreold bank. They have a cool outdoor spot, but the weather was chilly that day. Once you step inside you are transported to a killer brew pub dimension. The place was moderately busy for 1:30 on a Wednesday and we were immediately greeted by the bartender. We analyzed the tap list and narrowed it down quickly to the 3 IPAs brewed by these guys. We ended up trying all 3 and overall I would give the beer an 8 out of 10. I love a Boneyard RPM or Ft. George 3-way. I have been away from Oregon Craft for about a year so I am a little off my game but I didn't leave a drop in those pint glasses. We both ordered the smash burger and fries with some jalapeño aioli sauce. The fries were maybe the best fries I've ever had. I literally put my head down and chowed through them all before realizing I had a burger too. Smash burger is true to form dressed with melted cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomato. The bun had been fried in magic sauce to a crispy texture before they built the burger. We were blown away at how good it was!! We went to Sunriver Brewing on Wednesday night and think Initiative won our personal award for that day!! Highly recommend you check it out and I want to go again before I have to leave town!!
