I want to recognize Roz Reid at your Glades Road store for providing an exceptional shopping experience. I needed a twin-size mattress for my granddaughter, and several friends highly recommended Roz. After meeting her, I understood why. She was everything they promised and more! She was knowledgeable, kind, patient, and respectful of my budget. When I showed her the bedframe that the mattress would go on, she took the time to research the appropriate mattress height and helped me select an 8-inch mattress. That attention to detail showed how much she cared about helping me find the right fit. What impressed me most was that Roz treated me as though I were spending $5,000, even though I was purchasing a $300 mattress. I felt just as valued and appreciated as someone making a much larger purchase. Employees like Roz are the reason customers return and recommend a business to others. She is a tremendous asset to your company and deserves recognition for the care and professionalism she brings to her work. I will enthusiastically recommend her to all my friends. Thank you, Roz, for making a simple purchase such a wonderful experience! read more

We had a very unpleasant experience shopping in your West Glades store while we were searching for a new mattress. "Helped" by a very pushy woman who was happy to high pressure us while we were searching for the best deal on a Black Series 3 firm mattress. We had one more store to shop before we would make a decision which we politely explained to the woman while looking and as soon as she heard that she literally walked away from us and jumped on the next couple walking in the door. So, we did the same thing and walked out. Went down the street to Baer's Furniture and purchased our new mattress. We will never enter another of your stores! We felt like we were in a car dealership. read more

I had an issue with a mattress I purchased a few years ago, but the manager Sam Cavallaro provided me with excellent service. He was empathetic to my situation, and he went out of his way to make sure my issue was resolved successfully. Great customer service. I'm grateful. Thank you read more

The mattress I tested and chose was not the mattress that was written up by the salesperson, unbeknownst to me. It was delivered and I had to sleep on it, very uncomfortably, for the allotted period of time. This created extra discomfort in my lower back. I called the store and questioned how this mattress I received could possibly be the same mattress I tested in the store, and it was confirmed that I had been sleeping on a completely different mattress!! Extremely annoyed! read more

Gave them a 5 star rating on 111125 , when everything seemed great. Since then the delivery which was not a problem is a problem. I don't know if I was lied to or they just do not know and tell you anything to make the sale. I feel cheated. Can no longer recommend this store as a place to shop. I just don't feel they can be trusted. read more

We purchased a mattress from City Mattress about 12 years ago. It was a so-called high-end Pranasleep mattress, which was a fair bit of money. About $10,000. And came with a 15-year warranty. Called up City Mattress, and they told us it likely had a little bit of warranty left on the mattress and that we would get some compensation. About $2,300. They then sent out an inspector to look at the mattress. Because a label was missing, and it had a tiny coffee stain, they decided that the warranty was invalid. The huge lump in the middle of the mattress was not caused by a missing label and a tiny coffee stain. And I must admit I am extremely annoyed and will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and anybody else I can think of. Nothing more than deceptive, dishonest business practices. And they need to make it right. read more

Absolute worst customer service they take advantage of senior citizens not only did Sam the manager yell and be completely disrespectful and rude upon a phone call afterwards whoever answered the phone was exactly the same. I would never use them again so freaking rude. read more

This place was perfect. Sam was superb and answered all of our questions and made suggestions. We picked out a bed in 1/2 hour.

I had an Amazing experience at City Mattress on Glades Rd in West Boca Raton . I was greeted by Carlton who was delayed with another customer. He turned me over to ROZ who with her extensive product knowledge guided me to the RIGHT mattress for me. With major back issues and 3 horrible pretzel producing mattresses prior, I RECEIVED my new AIRE-STEAMLINE mattress the SAME DAY!!! Jordan and Max drove through a rainstorm to bring and set up my new bed. They worked so well as a team. They ALL DESERVE A RAISE.!!!!!!!! read more

The initial feeling walking into this store was not welcoming at all. I felt judged on my appearance and a nuisance when I explained that 4k for a mattress was out of my price range. Even though there was absolutely nothing going on in the store, the saleswoman didn't want to give me the time of day and was very dismissive after disclosing my budget. I wouldn't spend my last dime here even if I did have an extra 4 thousand dollars lying around. read more

The sales woman was very uninterested in my needs. She was acting like she had better things to do when the store was basically empty. Had a very unwelcoming and judgemental demeanor the moment she realized that we had a lower budget than she'd like. I will not be spending any of my money here. Not everyone can afford a $5,000 mattress but nonetheless we should have be treated with respect. read more

My parents recently had to replace their mattress and they worked with salesperson Rosalind Reid at the store on Glades Road in Boca Raton, FL. They found Roz to be very pleasant and extremely helpful. She really listened to everything they needed and was able to help them get a replacement bed quickly and efficiently. They highly recommend her and that City mattress store. read more

Worst customer service at this store. Emailed Barbara 3x no response. Mattresses fail

What a great shopping experience I had at this store. Backstory - I have a king bed set and unbeknownst to me, it had a standard (el cheapo) frame that was supporting the mattress and box set. It worked fine for years, but last night, I guess I was a little too overly aggressive (if you know what I mean) and BAM the bed frame broke. I ended up removing the mattress from the frame and slept on the floor. Not knowing exactly what to do, I was driving past City Mattress and decided to stop in and see about a replacement. I was greeted by Carlton Williams and he was super friendly and informative. He showed me a replacement for my exact frame and suggested two different optional upgrades (one had rounded edges and one did not) that were far superior in strength to the one I currently have. I decided to buy the best and strongest bed frame and asked about delivery and he said it would be free for tomorrow. When I asked about same day delivery, he said it is an upcharge and will check the schedule. I left the store at 12:30pm and two delivery men showed up at my house at 2:30pm (exactly two hours since I left the store) and took apart my frame and installed the new super heavy duty frame. The name of the frame is Engage K Knick Hybrid and it was around $200 and is super strong. I was told it can support 1,000 pounds and I don't weight that much, but can give it the old college try tonight if you know what I mean. Thanks Carlton and City Mattress for outstanding service. read more

I received incredible service from the manager, Seth Weinstein on 8/31/24. I was there to purchase a mattress for my mother and he was very knowledgeable regarding all of the mattresses and he was very patient as well. Her mattress was delivered today and I had received excellent communication from City mattress regarding delivery time and the drivers were very professional and efficient. read more

I had a great salesman named Carlton. He wasn't pushy and gave us the information to make our selection. We bought a Casper mattress and we LOVE it. The best sleep I had in years! Thank you City mattress and Carlton! read more

It's been a while since I purchased a mattress and after visiting a few other stores in the area, I came in to this location based on the reviews. I went to a few of the other big box mattress stores and couldn't believe how pressured I felt to make a decision and buy something right then and there. Even after mentioning to the salesperson that I was just getting educated on this stuff, they were always trying to make me offers that were "only good for today." I was over it. I came into City Mattress around 7pm on a Tuesday and was greeted by Seth. I explained to him what I was looking for and he walked us over to the exact mattress we wanted to see. I asked him to suggest any others that he might recommend and he happily pointed us in the direction of a few others. He wasn't pushy, he didnt oversell, and he gave us time to discuss in private about what we liked and didn't like. I REALLY appreciated his style and felt like the pressure-free environment he created for us, actually made me want to do business with him. I explained to him that we were still looking for a bed at this time, and once we had it picked out, we'd return. All he asked for was our names and good phone number and we were on our way. We came back 2 days later and unfortunately, Seth wasn't in. Instead, we were greeted by Jordan who said he was more than happy to help and that he'd make sure Seth was aware that we came back in. Jordan was personable, patient, and kind as well. He gave us time to try everything out once more so that we could be 100% with our decision. We purchased a mattress with adjustable base that evening and couldn't have been happier. Seth's follow up has been fantastic, his communication is awesome, and we can't wait to receive our new mattress when it arrives this week! Thank you Seth and Jordan for everything!! read more

This is the 2nd set of mattresses we have purchased from City Mattress. Could not be happier but $8000.00 poorer. Very attentive sales woman. Two months later I decided I needed a new pillow and noted on line that City Mattress showed over 20 different models. We stopped in at a time when they were not busy and spoke to our saleswoman. I asked to see some pillows and told her I was allergic to latex. Her response was "We only have 2 pillows and they are both hypoallergenic latex. Try Bed Bath and Beyond." Then she walked away. I would probably shop there again but I would do some looking at other options. read more

Everything from start to finish was Stellar ! Seth helped me select the right twin. I had no idea that XL was the right size until he explained it. Mattress selection and Power Base selection went very smoothly and took very little time. The staff at this location are very careful in following the Covid guidelines. Delivery was the BEST I've ever had. The two gentlemen set everything up; explained what I needed to know about the height of the legs of the power base; and were very professional and personable. I highly recommend this company and this location for all your needs re bedding. read more

Chapter 4 in my search for a new mattress. This store was fairly small compared to the other furniture stores I've gone to. Probably because they don't sell other furniture. A nice sales lady helped us. She showed us a few mattresses. Several were on sale for Back Friday. One was in the price range we were looking for. Clyde and I tried it and it was comfortable. The only problem was that I had never heard of the manufacturer of that mattress. I wanted to look up the reviews before I bought it. I told the sales lady that I would think about it overnight. I asked for her work schedule because I wanted to purchase the mattress from her when I came back. When I got home I looked up the mattress on the internet. There were a few good reviews, but more bad ones. I read many reviews that said don't buy it, and that the manufacturer doesn't answer their phone, or honor their warranty. Buying a mattress is a big purchase. Not only because of the price, but because it should last for many years. I liked the mattress I saw at City Mattress, but after reading the reviews I decided not to buy it. read more

Purchased beds for my 3 bedroom home 12 years ago.... Had an issue...having nothing to do with the beds themselves but the under lining of the box spring. I reached out to City Mattress to ask their advice. Their response was immediate and they offered to handle my issue at no cost to me. Needless to say I was very impressed with a Customer Service Department that helps a customer even after a dozen years. I recommend them highly! read more

We just purchased a bed here from Rosalind "Roz". She was extremely helpful and guided us towards the right mattress for our needs!

What an absolute pleasure to deal with! I went in to buy a mattress. Nera helped me. She was very knowledgeable and made the process easy. She explained I could exchange the mattress after 90 days if my husband and I were not pleased. It turned out to be way too soft for us. I went back being skeptical thinking I'd be charged all kinds of delivery fees and exchange fees to get another mattress. Seth helped my husband and me pick out a firmer mattress. It was hassle free without a lot of added on fees. Unbelievably easy and fair. We are so pleased. Can't wait until our new mattress arrives. Such a professional, well run store. They truly want you to be happy with your purchase. read more

A bit expensive, but the customer service alone seems to warrant the cost premium. Here's my story.... I purchased a high end adjustable Prana Sleep mattress but it wasn't quite right, a bit on the soft side for my taste. So I called the store, spoke to my salesman and with no questions asked, got it exchanged for the next firmer model. I tried it for 30 days, and while better it still wasn't quite what I wanted, so I called the store again. and no questions got yet a firmer model. Each time no questions, hassles, free delivery and pickup. read more

These folks are GREAT. I went to buy a mattress and told the store manager that I did not want a pillow top mattress because the one I bought at the store three years ago had developed a hump in the middle. He said that shouldn't happen and checked his computer and found that I had a warranty on my existing mattress. He said that rather than buying a mattress that day he would have a mattress inspector come to my house and see if it was a problem covered by the warranty. They came and spent thirty minutes taking measurements with rulers and a plum bob. They said that the mattress had had a foam core failure. I went back to the store and since Keith wasn't in I spoke with Joel Shore. Joel checked the computer and told me that I was entitled to a credit of the full purchase price of $1,699.00 of my old mattress towards the purchase of a new one. I was blown away. Thanks Joel, Keith and all the City Mattress family. Barry Frankel read more

City Mattress - Mattresses Near Me - Boca Raton, Florida

My elderly mother and I had a wonderful experience with our sales representative Mark Cohen, at City Mattress on Glades Road. During our first visit, my mother intended to purchase an adjustable bed. Mark spent a lot of time making measurements and showing my mother a number of mattresses. Even though I was standing there convincing my mother that a hospital bed would better suit her needs, Mark continued to be helpful and gave us his card. After deciding to buy a hospital bed, we returned several times to decide upon an appropriate mattress. Mark continued to be patient and helpful and suggested that my mother should obtain a medical note so her purchase would be tax exempt. Since we did not have a shipping date for the bed, Mark let us know that we could request shipping at any time. I called City Mattress on a day that Mark was unavailable and requested the shipment. On the day of shipment, Mark had reviewed his orders and noticed that the mattress would not arrive during the promised window. Knowing that my mother is elderly and needs her mattress, and I am a Sabbath observer and could not accept deliver on Saturday (which was the following day), Mark immediately resolved the problem. Not long after our conversation, I recieved a call that the mattress would arrive on time. Mark Cohen has been a sales representative that showed much more concern for his customer than obtaining a quick sale. Thank you Mark for all of your help, and one more thing, we love the mattress. read more

Awful demeanor from the sales people. Horrible energy the second you walk in. Not sure where these good reviews are coming from. The second we looked at cheaper mattresses he was dismissive and rude. Talked a big talk and kept making it seem like he was doing us a favor. Absolutely would not recommend. read more

Dishonest and Deceitful Purchased a $6k mattress that was represented to have a full replacement warranty, which was a key factor in our decision to purchase a Prana mattress. After just a few years of use the mattress became deeply compressed in sleeping areas and has lost all the "sleep benefits" that the company claims. All warranty claim attempts were declined by City Mattress as (according to City Mattress) the issues we experienced did not meet the warranty matrix. Warning to all: DO NOT BUY A MATRESS FROM CITY MATRESS AS THEY ARE DISHONEST AND DECEIPTFULL AT BEST. As a member on many organizations and boards I will be sure to spread the word. read more

Made a short trip from Boynton to the west Boca Raton store on recommendation of a friend. Met Mark Cohen, a real "mensch" who walked us through the mattress buying experience in a very easy going yet professional manner. Mark taught us what we needed to know to make an informed decision and explained all the options at every level with zero pressure to upgrade during any point of the process. How refreshing! So...armed with the facts we stepped up to a Pranasleep bed and couldn't be happier with our choice. Fabulous buying experience. Well done City Mattress, well done. read more

I had a recent back surgery, walked into City Mattress in Boca not knowing what would be best for me, and was greeted by Mark Cohen immediately. He showed me a bunch of different beds that would be comfortable with my back, showed me how to roll out of bed and move side to side so I wouldn't be in more pain, and in the end I chose the most comfortable mattress they sell, a Prana! It was such a pleasant experience working with Mark Cohen and I'll definitely be recommending him to anyone who's in the market for a mattress. Thanks Mark! read more

Had the pleasure to purchase 2 mattresses and some bedroom furniture here twice in the last few months. We were helped both times by Roz who was just the nicest salesperson you could hope for. She took the time to ask what we looking for and showed us dozens of different mattresses. Made us feel comfortable with climbing up and spending as much time as we needed testing them out. There was never any pressure to buy nor did she just show us the higher end products. After we chose the one we liked she offered other options that were similar but also on sale. Loved the selection on hand and the no pressure sales... read more

Upon entering we were greeted with a smile from a very nice sales lady who really knew what she was talking about. After giving us some cold water in a sealed bottle we looked at their lines and then some others. We made a great deal on a pair of stearns and foster twin mattresses with box springs and some stuff she threw in. when we left we were very happy with our deal. some years ago we bought a high riser from them and we are now using them with total satisfaction. read more

Tom is super friendly and helpful and was great to work with, twice! We bought one mattress that seemed good at the time but didn't work out for us. Delivery was great and as promised.
