Can you be in love with BBQ delivery? I've ordered from City BBQ several times and have LOVED my order every single time. I especially love the Smokehouse Salad. It feels fresh and healthy and doesn't skimp on flavor. The cornbread is also divine - a mini-loaf of moist cornbread that is just incredible. Not far behind that is their corn pudding, which brings the taste of summer corn in another form. Along with some sides, I've tried and enjoyed th lemonaid. It's isn't too sweet, just refreshing. I'm not someone who can really review the green beans or collard greens because I'm only a semi-fan of those dishes, but from what I can tell, City BBQ brings their unique flavors to those sides as well. After driving past City BBQ and never going in, we finally made a point to get in there and try it. Now I will say, my fiancé is from Kansas City, so we are pretty particular about BBQ. I found the whole experience to be a little underwhelming. The sauce is very vinegary, which isn't my preference for BBQ sauce. But the fries were so good. The staff at this location is top notch. I hit the store in Florence about a year ago after first coming to the area. The experience was "ho-hum" at best and as a result I was not in a rush to return. Well, fast forward to the week before Thanksgiving and I am scratching my head as to what I would do for a meal. I came across an enticing coupon and decided to give City BBQ another try, but this time changing locations. I ordered turkey, green beans, corn pudding, salad and of course peach cobbler. DAMN! That turkey rocked! Super moist and full of flavor! The side dishes were basically equally as impressive in taste. My only issue was the portion of side servings... they were not filled to the top. I had some left overs (mostly turkey) and it was just as good as when I picked it up from the to-go shelf. I see another order of turkey in my future... I can practically taste it now! read more

This place was stellar! Grabbed some take out and really splurged tonight on the goods. Tried the 2 meats platter with brisket and pulled chicken. Was excellent! Brisket was super tender and flavorful. Pulled chicken was yummy and stripped well.. Tried them with the brush fire and original sauces. If you like a kick, get extra brush fire next time! Someone in our class said Cincinnati BBQ was overrated but I have to disagree. The brisket and pulled pork was tender and flavorful and the Mac and Cheese was good - not great, but good. Not sure if the chicken was as good, but it was the first platter to go so I will assume it was worth the effort. They also ordered a chocolate cake that was popular with the class - I don't do chocolate so I can't vouch for that either but it knocked a couple of classmates out for the afternoon session. Trust me, I was a skeptic when I was told this helpful little tidbit, naiively assuming that just bread couldn't really be served that differently, but boy was I wrong.
