I'd encourage anyone looking for a good haircut at fair value to check them out. A great option in between an "upscale" overpriced salon and the hack job at a barber shop or the mall.

They sat her in the chair for under 30 seconds and said "ok" but, there is an $80 deposit. I went in, gave them the $80 deposit for a $250 treatment, made an appointment, got a receipt and left. I called and left a voicemail the day before her appointment to cancel. Never received a call back. We are now requesting a refund for the $80 deposit and being denied being told there is a 48 hour notice for cancellations. Nowhere on the receipt or in plain viewing is there any notice of a 48 cancellation notice. My wife called to see if maybe they could apply the $80 for a simple haircut for my daughter, they said no. To think they won't refund us is unfathomable.

The shop is cozy, with products for purchase in the middle aisle, hair for styling along the entry wall, with hooded blow dryers and wash bowls toward the back. My appointment was scheduled for 4p and I arrived around 3:50p and my appointment started at 4:10ish. Not too bad a wait. My stylist was Mist. She was professional and informative. I wanted to retain my length but trim off what was dead/split. Mist understood and showed me how much she thought was appropriate before starting. She blew my hair out straighter to assist with accurately pin pointing of what needed to be trimmed and worked efficiently but carefully as she completed my service. My total at the end of my service was $45 minus the $25 deposit. I guess the necessary blow dry was an additional $10.
