Service was good. Pizza is also pretty good. Maybe just a bit too doughy, could use more emphasis on the sauce and cheese; for some bites the dough was really all I could taste. All in all though a really good pizza spot. read more

Wow, there pizza and other creative dishes are absolutely outstanding. Very authentic Roman Pizza, crust is light and airy, Ranks as some of the best ever. Place has limited seating and is geared for takeout, but is so amazing it doesn't matter. If you haven't tried it, you're missing out read more

I typically don't leave reviews BUT I have to shout out Ashlee for her great service. Ashlee was kind, attentive, and thoughtful. I am new to eating GF and DF and she was able to make it happen!! The GF and Vegan cheese were AMAZING and they are one of the few places that have loads of options for dietary needs and the food is still just as amazing. I have been here a handful of times but this experience was great!! Highly recommend the Citizens Pie. read more

Service was terrible, food was so underwhelming, and I felt like I was at a college dining hall. Servers were drinking at the bar and was hard to get anyone's attention. My friend and I were told the red sangria wasn't sweet and we had to return it because it was like drinking fruit punch. read more

The female manager was so beyond rude it was embarrassing for the whole establishment. She definitely lost her employees money via tip and I have such a large network I will be telling everyone to avoid this place. It's an embarrassment to human like this running a restaurant. Unless the goal is to make no money. Yikes. Will be telling everyone to not come here specially because of that human. read more

Watched the female staff while the guys - Moe, Larry & Curly stood by watched and put every effort into NOT working! Why they pool their tips - so, why work when they can reap rewards for not? Watched Moe - shaved head guy - point out a seating area needed to be bussed instead of just doing it - this guy was totally useless to assisting the staff. Food - ok Price - too high Cleanliness - good Staff - as long as your NOT being served by one of the useless guys you will get good service read more

This place up charges beers, they charged me $13.90 for a beer I get for under $9 at every other restaurant When I talked with the manager she said she was going to change the price to be more reasonable. I won't go back there. read more

Great pizza, thick Sicilian crust, ordered pizzas several times and always very good, would definitely recommend.

Disappointing and underwhelming. The top 3 appetizer recommendations were bland and overcooked to say the least. Stick to the pizza and I'm sure the beer is cold. Worst restaurant name too read more

Will never eat their again. Server decided to tip herself 50% extra on my bill (I keep my reciepts so I know exactly how much I should have been charged). Company refuses to contact me back..... I wouldnt eat there if I was you or make sure you keep your reciepts. Im sure this is not a one off incident.. read more

Staff seated us. A waitress stopped by and said our waiter would be with us shortly and took a drink order. Brought drinks. Ten minutes later a waitress brought water and said our waiter would be with us shortly. Restaurant was half empty. Thirty minutes later no waiter. No thanks. read more

Food was good! Drinks were good! But for service? Um no....took a waitress awhile to get to our table and then 20 min for drinks and we needed water/more food and she wasn't around for 30 minutes...would only sit on the patio if u don't ever want anyone to come up to you read more

My favorite place! Eclectic food and drink menu with lots of vegetarian options. And the staff is amazing.

Went there yesterday and ordered a full pan cheese pizza to go. While there I got a slice of 4 cheese white pizza that was good and crust was cooked on the bottom. Got home with the Cheese pizza w/sauce and the dough was RAW. The bottom crust was white and it was totally limp. Biggest disappointment wasting 42.00 to throw away a raw dough pizza. Don't they check it before they put it in the cardboard box? Too bad because this could have been my go to pizza place and now I will never go back again read more

Love this place. Pizza is great and the atmosphere and bartenders are very personable.

Was excited to try someplace new with an eclectic menu. The Roman pepperoni pizza was not edible. The waiter claimed that's what it's supposed to taste like- tinny, metallic tasting sauce and burnt pepperoni and not even a taste of cheese. I've have Roman style pizza. It's good when made properly. No one but my son ate it. He ate exactly one square because he was so hungry. The queso was delicious and the bbq beef ramen bowl was pretty good too. The african sponge cake reminds us of a lemon dense sponge cake with grainy sugar (like liquidly danish glaze) topping. Too sweet for us. The waiter was indifferent to the fact that the entire pizza was just sitting there the whole time. He also failed to acknowledge that my husband sitting there the whole time with nothing to eat in front of him since my daughter took his plate of food. At least he got his manager since he had nothing to say and actually had the nerve to ask us if we wanted the pizza packed to go. I lost it. I wouldn't have tipped him 10% - not his fault the food wasn't good but it was his fault the service was not so great. My husband still tipped him well over 20% over the original total because 1. It's New Year's and why ruin it for anyone else even if it is the waiter. 2. We are never going back. read more

What a great addition to Patriot Place! The vibe was perfect, the outside patio was heated and warm and the wine was delicious. We only shared an appetizer but all of the food looks so good. We will be back! read more

All three stars are for the waitress who was super nice and very very good. The food is also good. I got the schnitzel and it is just a breaded chicken breast not schnitzel. The oil it was fried in was old which is super obvious to anyone who has worked in a commercial kitchen. To be fair I lived in Germany for a few years so I know schnitzel and it isn't what they served.. Maybe this is the American take on it. I suspect the pasta was just that plain pasta as it really didn't look like egg noodles. My wife and daughters ordered tacos with pork and got spicy beef instead. The pizza looked amazing at the other tables. Maybe my bad for not just getting pizza. My thought is the place needs new management front and back. The staff from server to bus people were super nice and working hard so they aren't the issue. The restaurant was just odd and common at the same time. This is one of those places that tries too hard to be different. We get it you're quirky, great. My advice is get the basics down and then worry about being quirky. It feels like the backed into being a restaurant based on the decor.. The menus are photocopies with no pics. If you've never been here it's tough to figure out what the food is supposed to be. Obviously pizza is pizza etc. We asked to be seated outside and were told the limit for outdoor seating is 4 people. Funny last visit we were 5 and outdoors. My beer was stale and my wife's was served with ice. On a side note $13 tap beers seriously? Ice in beer? One of their quirky things? Who knows. The hostess looked miserable and acted like it too. Take your I'm too good for this place attitude and go get a job without having to deal with people if you're so miserable.. The decor is common and good enough but good gets 3 stars. Prices are good also. Clean and all the fixture are in good shape and well maintained. I was underwhelmed but we would definitely eat here again. OK maybe just take out. Clean, good food, good service. We can overlook the weird stuff but can't give more than 3 satrs. I guess just a side note is that we sent the schnitzel and tacos back to the kitchen and yet no manager ever bothered to stop by our table. We left the waitress a 40% tip as she took the items off the bill but it was so not her fault. It was not about the cost for us as the prices are fair (well excluding the $13 draft beers). We just want to get what we ordered. When your focus is on everything but the food and you're a restaurant well I think you may need to rethink your strategy. read more

Kind of disappointed in my recent visit here. The overall ambiance was pretty good, we liked the outdoor area but the service was slow - hoping this is just a kink as they are newly open. However we came here because we heard the pizza was pretty good. I asked to add onions to our pepperoni pizza and the waiter said there was no way to custom a pizza. He was adamant that the kitchen is unable to add or substitute anything to their pizzas. The waiter gave some excuse it had to do with their oven. It really isn't very hard to add onions to a pizza - especially since pizza is supposed to be one of their specialties. Makes me believe the pizza is frozen... I hope they can figure this out since I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to add or substitute things to my pizza and it would be pretty pricey if it actually is frozen. read more

We were in town for a game and stopped here for dinner before checking out the rest of the plaza. Originally I thought the prices were a little expensive but after receiving my food I was eating my words. Food was FANTASTIC and you got your moneys worth. Although the place was busy, the waitress we had did a great job. Would definitely come back. read more

Food was GREAT! KYLIE made our night- one of the beat servers we have had in a long time. Whole experience was awesome- only reco is to lower the volume of the music. It is a deterrent for the older crowd hard to hear each other talk read more

My best friend and I went here for the first time yesterday. The service was good, the food was very good the one star review is a warning for those who are sensitive to gluten..BEWARE! My friend has celiac disease and ordered the GF corn tortilla tacos. By the time she got home about 45-60mins later she became violently ill from a reaction to having gluten. We had informed the bartender multiple times that the tacos must be GF, I even ordered the same thing to help lessen any confusion when the food was brought out. It's unfortunate that this was our first experience with Citizens Crust because it will also be our last, it's just not worth the risk. read more

Place is nice and I am sure certain things on the menu are good, but AVOID ordering the PIZZA at all cost. It is without a doubt the worst pizza I have ever eaten in my life, and I have had some bad pizza. It is a big portion, but a big portion of tasteless, soft dough. I even told the staff how bad it was and that they should never serve it again. The creator of the pizza does not have any taste buds, cause there is no way this pizza should be served to the paying public. I wouldn't even let the person I hate most in the world have a bite. You have been warned. read more

The food was delicious. (Be prepared to be provided scissors to cut your own pizza slices though) My rating is mostly due to the overall service. From the time we were seated and throughout our meal, the staff seemed really confused and disorganized. We had a child and the host never offered us a children's menu so we had no idea they existed until we started seeing kid like entrees come out of the kitchen. Our waitress was very nice but never around. We had to flag her down quite a bit and ask for things like water refills and extra napkins, etc. When our food arrived, it was sent to the wrong table initially. We saw the whole thing. The food is worth trying but they really need to work on their service. read more

On June 25th,12:30, following a Dierks Bentley concert at the xfinity center my husband and I walked in the open doors of citizen crust. We were looked at as if we had 7 heads. There were 2 large,6-8 people, groups of people sitting in the bar area. Theses were the people looking at us strangly. I stood at the hostess stand, and as I stood there my husband went to look at the liquor license because we were told, after being stared at, that the place was closed. I said it's only 12:30 and the doors were open. To which an employee, I assume sitting in one of the groups wrapped in a blanket, said we can't close the doors because there are people in the restaurant. I am a bartender and server that knows doors have to be able to let people on the inside out, it's code. I said the doors should still be closed and she muttered something which could have been a racist comment, as I walked toward the exit. I heard my husband question the time on the license and she, employee in the blanket, said one. My husband said it was only 12:30 and she said they had closed up due to low volume however the doors were open. As my husband was walking toward the exit to meet me a male sitting at the same table with said blanket employee said "why don't you go back to Texas" because my husband was wearing a cowboy hat. Completely offended and appalled by the comment my husband did the right thing and walked away. At which time another female charged towards my husband telling him to leave, as if he did something wrong or was the one causing problems, knowing the young man who made the comment was in the wrong. He told her she had better lock the doors as we walked out. He is still very upset that we were treated like garbage. He, we, is very proud of our country roots so being disrespected in such a way was hateful and hurtful. read more

This place is such a great first date spot. The service is incredible and the food is good. My date spilt half the bottle of wine which was fine and you have to cut your own pizza which is odd but overall good experience. 5/5 for a good date that led to a great relationship. read more

Very disappointed in the quality of the food. Overcooked, dumplings might have been Trader Joe's frozen, the way they tasted. Skewers were tiny, overcooked and only saving grace that made them edible were the sauces. The fried cauliflower was the star of our appetizers. I got a punch drink that was so bad I didn't drink 1/2 at $13, and I never leave a drink. Honestly the only thing this place has going for it is the location -- middle of Pat's place by the live stage, and the open air seating. Waitress was fine, not her fault the food was bad. If I ever come back it will only be for a beer. read more

We loved their pizzas... Considering there are not a lot of pizza places in the area, this is a nice addition. Be aware, a half pizza is a lot of food. read more

We ordered take out from here tonight. Ordered the Shanghai dumplings , just ok . Not a lot of flavor to them. I also ordered the crunchy cashew salad. Not crunchy at all. The cashews were actually soft. The hot honey vinaigrette tasted like it was simply honey and hot sauce....no olive oil or balsamic vinegar so not a vinaigrette. We ordered a couple pizzas too. Nothing special. Probably will not go here again. read more

I am so happy my qife and I tried this place. The food was awesome! I will say, the pizza is huge. We got a half and it was super big. The menu says have a pizza will serve 2-4 people and they were correct. We were very happy to leave with leftovers. read more

They don't allow reservations unless you have a party of 7. So we arrived and there is at least one table of 4 available but we were told 45mins. So I asked how is that table is open if reservations if res parties are 7. It's waitlisted. How can it be waitlisted, those are for reservations that may cancel and it'd have to be a table of 7 so how can it be waitlisted? read more

We ate here for the first time. The wait staff were very attentive. The pizza was delicious as the crust alone was amazing. The size of the appetizer was really huge and delicious. We will be coming back to try their other entrees soon. read more

I always have such a great experience here at Citizens Crust! The host Lani was very nice and sat us right away. However, I do suggest making a reservation ahead of time as it can tend to be busy on weekend nights. Every time I come here I have great service and the pizza is amazing! read more

Was so excited to try there pizza after hearing about them, but was disappointed! The sauce was very bland and the cheese topping on the Margherita of Savoy pizza was tasteless considering they state that it has three different cheeses. Also there Shanghai Dumplings were tasty, but came out burnt. Service was good and the waitress was friendly! Still gave a 20% tip! read more

If you like over priced crust and not pizza itself than this place is for you. Overpriced flavored water.

We ordered the pizza by the slice and the taste was not pleasant. The pizza had to be sitting at room temperature for many hours. Maybe the fresh pizza is different, but the pizza by the slice was a huge disappointment. read more
