I looked on Yelp for a reliable person and this company had so many positive comments that I felt very comfortable coming to Tony. He fixed my laptop and helped me get my ipad back up and running. He was so professional, respectful and helpful. I work in Danbury and he even stayed late for me so I could come pick it up on a weeknight. He really didn't need to do that but I really appreciated it. When I got home, I was able to get back onto my computer, which I hadn't used in over a year and it was just collecting dust. I can now access my music, old pictures and documents that I never had the opportunity to transfer when the computer died, to begin with. I was also worried because I had tax documents and personal health information on my desktop. When we drop our computers off to be fixed, we really are taking a chance, right? I was having issues with my IPhone 5s (yes, I know I might as well be carrying around an abacus). The battery has been erratic for weeks, dropping from 45% to 19% in the space of minutes, and I simply wanted something that would hold a charge for the day with moderate to minimal use. I looked to Yelp and I saw the numerous 5 star reviews of IFiXit. That fact, in combination with the office's proximity to my home, led me to bring in my cell phone. The gentleman sitting behind the desk was polite and addressed me as soon as I walked in the door (I hate when people don't at least greet you when you enter their establishment). To my surprise he said it would only take 15 minutes to change the battery. He seemed to be working on two other cellphones and there were two other gentlemen waiting in his office who I guess were the owners of the two cell phones. I left my phone with him and grabbed a bite to eat and when I returned he was done with the battery replacement. Needless to say the battery life on my 5s is now exceeding my expectations. Tony was amazing! My iPhone 7 had a black screen, but was turning on and paring with my Apple Watch. I went to Apple's Genius Bar the day before going to CitiFix, and Apple told me the phone was not repairable and that I could purchase a new iPhone 7 for $299. I did not have a backup of any of the photos or videos on my phone and they were irreplaceable so I didn't want a new phone, I wanted my phone so I could back up all my data. I walked into CitiFix the next day and Tony informed me that 'this is an easy fix and it will only run you $85'. 20 minutes later, I was almost in tears as he showed me my phone turned on, I had a screen that worked, and all my videos and photos were there! My Samsung Galaxy randomly shut off one day and wouldn't turn on. New battery didn't help. I brought it all over the place and nobody would help me. In the mall kiosks everyone would just tell me to get a new phone because motherboard is dead. I saw IFiXit as I was driving back from an errand and decided to try my luck. Without a moment of hesitation, the owner took the phone apart and simply cleaned it with the spray (like for keyboards). It started working immediately. I can't believe none of those "big" repair companies and kiosks would even think of this as the first step. I'm so thankful. I've been without a phone for over four months. I went in because my phone would have a hard time connecting to a charger. Was kinda loose. So I go in and immediately he starts pulling out screws like a mad scientist. I was kinda nervous at first because he took out a lot of the insides of the phone. Long story short he knew exactly what he was doing. No hesitation on his part. Took about 18 mins. $45. Upon getting home I realized people couldn't hear me on the phone and I called back and he offered to make a house call the same day because I live far away. He went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. Works great now. Only thing I would recommend to him is to answer the phone differently. When I called he just said Hello. This guy saved me. I made the mistake of purchasing a refurbished iPhone 11 from Amazon. After a little over a week, I got a warning message that my battery was an "unknown item" and not a genuine Apple battery. It then stopped charging. I got my refund from Amazon and purchased a new iPhone 12 directly from Apple. However, I was unable to transfer everything over to the new phone since I couldn't keep my current phone powered on. Brought it to CitiFix and he temporarily put in a different battery so that he could transfer everything over. This is my first time ever writing a yelp review and I really thought it should be about CiTiFiX. I went to Apple regarding the battery of my laptop. After waiting an hour to get my laptop checked out all they could tell me was that my battery was fried and it had to be replaced, but they couldn't do anything about it because they don't carry the battery for it anymore (my laptop is a 2010 MacBook Pro.) I came to CiTiFiX after to see what I could do and Tony fixed my problem within 20 minutes. I had a brand new battery and it really was like my laptop came back to life. Great experience from start to finish! Stopped in after work with my girlfriend wanting to get our phones looked at before vacation, hoping we wouldn't have to purchase new ones. My husband and I are in our 60's and use inexpensive cell phones. We are a little bit behind in modern technologies, but we wanted to upgrade and get i-phones for both and we went to see Tony at IFIXit. We were very happy with his service. He took time to show us how to get started, he made a few calls for us to buy SIM cards, and offer to install the SIM cards when they arrive by mail. Tony is the man! I texted him in the morning, before his normal hours and he responded back within minutes. I brought him my iPhone 6 with a cracked screen. This is the first time I have ever broken a screen on any of my phones and feared a timely delay and huge cost. He replaced the screen while I waited. Citifix is the best place to get your phone fixed. I had a camera problem and Tony worked diligently to try to repair it, even though my phone was water damaged. He put in two different parts to try to get it to work and then tried a few different methods to reset the phone hardware. I didn't get to the store until 5 and he worked way past closing time to try to repair it. In the end, my phone was too damaged to incorporate a new camera and Tony insisted no charge. I had to demand that I pay him, and then he charged 1/3 of what he should have. Great , reliable, fair business. read more

I don't normally write yelp reviews, but I feel as though everyone needs to know about this place. In less than 2 weeks I've been able to fix cracked screens and broken cameras on an iPhone 7 and 5s. I'm currently waiting now for 20min for CiTiFiX to replace the screen and I love the fact that it has been a minimal impact to my time and budget. this guy was so awesome! I popped by and told him my phone was having trouble when inserting a charger chord and he told me he could fix it for me free of charge (no strings attached). It took him about 5 minutes... by this point I was impressed by his service, professionalism and generosity and asked if I could pay him to also put in a new battery. He said he could and that it would only take him 15 minutes. I think it actually only took 10. Our daughter is a nurse who is working towards just finishing up her APRN designation and was in desperate need of getting her computer fixed in order to complete her work. I went to get my phone screen fixed. Did not have me sign off on anything for my phone. Now I lose my apple warranty with apple. He did not screw my bottom screws in all the way so now they protrude. My screen brightness does not go up all the way anymore and 3D Touch is gone. I paid 1000 for this phone. If I want to use 3D Touch I should have the right to. He also offered to put in an LCD screen in my phone. I did not buy a phone with a stock lcd screen. This place should be shut down. I want my phone back read more
