Every day 15 to 20 people in line. Meanwhile the supervisors are hanging out instead of working the windows.

Only two cashiers open while three other employees ( supervisors and guy at desk ) are just hanging out. There is too many bank options out there for Citibank not to invest in better management and more branches open. How about the supervisors work the windows to cut down the lines? How about they open more branches? Most are temporarily closed ( since a year ago???) . Every bank out there is open now and has been throughout covid. It's now almost April 2021!! I'm closing my account and going chase .

Empty branch, still have been waiting over 40min, and still waiting...

Its unfortunate to see what use to such a great bank be what it is now today. the employees were…read moreexceptional until recently when we started to have problems with communication. first we were unable to have anyone return our call to have a card activated. when following the instructions and calling in for help...no one helped and no one returned my call it's been 2 months. my teen daughter got her first job, opened a checking here since this is where we have her child's savings acct. we went in person spoke to ANA and said she would have the debit card in 5-10 days. 3 weeks later we haven't received the debit card we were told it was never ordered although it was noted in the file that we went in person to request one. I was told one would be ordered asap, this matter was to be marked urgent and escalated and that I would receive a call back in a few. I never received a call. the next day my daughter is told she has to go back in person to place the order, her card was never ordered. when I called to see what was going on SONIA or SONJA (she made sure to correct me when i mispronounced her name) had the worst tone, rude and condescending. we were then told because my daughter is a teen she is not allowed a debit card. confused as to why she wouldn't be allowed a debit card to her own money I asked to speak to Ana since she at first was very helpful. I was told she wasn't available, I then asked to speak to a manager or supervisor and I was placed on hold. then Ana picked up, apologized and said "I assumed it wouldn't be an issue since your teen will be 18 this year" she then said her manager would override the request and we could have the debit card in 10 business days. we declined the offer since we now lost our trust in the bank's employees. we are closing this savings account, opened a college account at chase with a debit card issued and here in less than 5 days. my teen has access to her money and able to pay for her expenses with her Apple Pay they added to her phone on the same day. oh and I've yet to receive a call from a manager or higher up at ivfcu.

I was very pleased with the professionalism & friendly service I received from Anita Lopez in the lending department. I inquired on a low rate credit card & was immediately called the next morning. I had only inquired on it but she quickly explained how she could help in getting this rate vs the high rate cards out there & rising. She sent a message on the items she would need to be sent for review & evaluation of approval. After sending them she called me a few times for quick info needed & was very delightful to speak with. Once the process was finished; she recommended a few other things to make life simpler for us related to the bank accounts. I highly recommend Anita as she has been the first associate we have been happy to work with after many years of banking with IVFCU. This was all done by phone or messages which was a compliment to our busy schedules as we did not have to go to the branch for anything! I highly recommend seeking Anita for any of your lending needs with this CU. Thank you Anita for all your assistance and congrats on doing a fabulous job & showing care with your patrons.

Absolutely incompetent manager and lousy service. Initially, the banker Ismael, got me to open up…read morean account. He said I could withdraw money at any time. I tried reaching him via phone call, and no answer. He said I can call him at anytime. He only wanted me to open an account and he was done with with me. A few days later, I went to withdraw and was told I had to make an appointment. I was greeted by Christina. I told her I need to withdraw money, and she said I needed to make an appointment to close my account. I told her I wasn't there to close an account, and that Ismael didn't even mention that I had to make an appointment to withdraw money, and that I just had to go to the teller's window. Christina, the incompetent manager, told me that withdrawing money was "closing an account." I was confused because I didn't want to close my account. She told me all the bank associates were busy, and had me seated to wait. Twenty minute passed and I asked what the status was. She said I had to wait to close my account and she was very rude about it. One of the bankers, Stephanie, who I spoke to in a previous visit when I went to open an account, greeted us and was asking what I needed. I told her I told the manager, Christina, that I wanted to withdraw money, and that she said it's considered "closing an account". I explained that she was rude and Ismael was useless. Stephanie was apologetic and assisted us. She said closing and account and withdrawing money were different things. The incompetent and rude manager, Christina, tried to cover her mistake by making some lame excuse as to why she got confused. What's laughable is that this rude woman is a manager. Stephanie offered to assist us with further transactions and was very sincere in her apology for what I put up with. I'll probably take my money elsewhere because of the crappy service, with the exception of Stephanie who was so nice! SHE should be the manager. Maybe having someone like Stephanie run the bank will improve the poor yelp rating that this bank location has.
